They are the first office that I have even known of that books as early as they do, which is ideal if you don't want an appointment looming over your day. I had two crowns done, which is a pretty significant procedure. Dr Sandhu and her assistant Grace were both amazing in their work. I got a kick out of watching the synergy as they went to town on my grill. I wasn't sure of what to expect but turned out that it was absolutely painless. I actually think I might prefer this procedure to a filling but that's neither here nor there. Dr Sandhu and her staff are the epitome of compassionate and what more could you ask for in a dentist's office? Which is often one of the most dreaded scenarios! Once you are in the habit of going, your anxiety will dissipate. I no longer associate going to the dentist with dread! How 'bout that!? Love seeing Brittany on the way in and touching base with Rachel on the way out. Excellent service by an excellent and compassionate team. Kudos!

I didn't think I had to check my bank account for unauthorized withdrawals. I only checked because they stopped talking to me when I wanted to know why they charged me $1000 for a records fee. I had to turn to Delta Dental for help. Luckily, Delta Dental found additional unauthorized charges and gave me back $2,482 that this office took from me. That's above the expensive prices I paid for other work done.

I'm claustrophobic and I have a huge phobia to dentists but I was referred here by a coworker years ago and have been extremely happy ever since . He has always been very gentle with my teeth and considerate of my fears. He always keeps me informed about any treatments I need and the priority level of each treatment and He never try's to "upsell" for any treatments that I don't need. I've also been treated by his son Andre in the same office who also shows as much care. The front desk staff are all very polite and knowledgeable about the different insurances and timelines and are always very prompt in getting ahold of my insurance to let me know about my coverages and what's to be expected as far as payments and plans. I've always recommended/referred my friends,family and even new people I meet to come to Dr. Barakat's office for any dental need.

Wisdom Tooth Removal experience? 10/10…read more I'm a scairdy cat. I know...everyone gets nervous. But I'm next level ridiculous. The front office staff, dental assistants, and Dr. Andre Barakat, were all so sweet, and gentle. They have brand new equipment, and relaxing scenes playing on a TV. Dr. Andre patiently talked me through everything. His demeanor is very calming and he got the offending tooth out in about 30 minutes, with no pain. (He numbs your gums first, so you never even feel the Novocain shot.) The pre-procedure panic, was replaced with relief and gratitude for their patience and kindness, and I couldn't stop myself from asking the dental assistant if I could give her a hug. She said yes, but in addition to being a big baby, I'm also a spazz, and I tripped over a little trash can next to the chair. So between that, and the lingering high emotions from being scared, I don't know if I ever did hug her. LOL. (I would have run around the office hugging everyone, but I had embarrassed myself enough for one day, and promptly went home.) As soon as I got home, I took OTC pain meds, figuring I better get ahead of things before the Novocain wore off. I went to bed, woke up the next morning and didn't need any pain relievers at all. If you're scared, and putting off a dental procedure, just call their office and make an appointment. They will take great care of you!

Last week I arrived to my appointment for a cavity filling and, not one crown, but TWO! Thankfully…read moreonly one went in my mouth. The other, was a Yelp Duchess "crown" for checking-in the most at Fuiks and Matsushino, DDS. Quite appropros and absolutely hilarious! Although I'm really not happy about needing my first crown due to a cracked tooth. Since I picked up two crowns and it's been a couple of years, I thought I'd share that I still recommend Jason Matsushino, DDS for your dental needs. The customer service is great. They are all polite, calm, professional and reassuring. I was squeezed in for my cleaning and exam due to a cancelation. And was fit in with short notice to fill my cavity and "fit me with my crown" due to urgency in my situation. Dr. Matsushino seems to have done a great job preparing the crown and filing the tooth that touches it. I don't know if I received a traditional crown or a porcelain crowns using CEREC CAD/CAM technology. I know that he prepared it in front of me using a 3D imaging software. It was made FAST within 10 minutes. Don't let me think about that - it is a little unnerving really. Lots of "fast" items are really no good - fast food, fast weight loss, eating fast, and the dubious fasting. I was given the choice of same color as my current grill, or a shade lighter. I could have likely chosen darker or brighter, but we go with practical. I still had another problem he wasn't able to identify. Probably why I didn't get a chance to be seen again later that day or the next day. I just hope that the problem doesn't rear its ugly head during a period of being stuck with HMO dental insurance. I've had nightmares with the local HMO dental offices. My oral care is very important to me. Anyhow, if you need a dentist, visit Dr. Matsushino and you'll be glad you did. They have lean hours. Closed Wednesdays and Fridays. They're in contract with Delta Dental. They'll accept other PPO plans, but they'll be out-of-network. Be aware of your costs if using any insurance!

I recently broke a tooth while out of town for work, and I called them immediately to schedule an…read moreappointment. They were able to schedule me in for the day after I got back into town. My broken tooth required some local anesthetic, which was pretty intimidating - especially after seeing the X-ray. Dr. Matsushino and the hygienist were both very professional at keeping me calm and walking me through the procedure. This team makes me love coming to the dentist! Diana is my regular hygienist, and I always look forward to seeing her!

In any case, it was 5 stars then, 5 stars now, and so on. I could not be happier or more satisfied with my experiences and that's all I can say. They called me the day before to reschedule my appointment because the doctor was out. I accepted the new appointment. They also rescheduled an appointment without asking first. I received a text to find out about the appointment change. And I reached out to find out what was going on. Then the two appointments that I had to reschedule because myself and my two children are sick is met with a response of, ' we can't reschedule you at all because you have canceled last minute more than once.' We will put you on a short call list, but we won't charge you!. Gee. Thanks for your help. It seems like they want you to be understanding when they need to reschedule, but not so much when you're the one that needs to.
