We set up a time for the install, he showed up on time with all the parts needed, worked quickly, and got the panel and EV charger installed. After the installation, I had to make several follow-up calls over the next two months about the permit and inspection date. The inspection did eventually pass, but I never received confirmation that the permit had been filed until I asked multiple times. After the inspection, I did not receive any follow-up from the owners regarding the drywall repair, even though Marty mentioned he knew someone who could fix it. The electrical work itself functions correctly, but the communication, delays, and unresolved damage made the experience less smooth than I expected based on their reviews.

Even after unplugging the dryer, I was worried about a possible fire behind the wall, so I had the Cedar Park firefighters come and check out the situation. The plug and wall plate were insanely hot. They tripped the breaker and used a meter to see if there was a heat signature behind the wall, but things would be okay. James arrived today and checked out every possible source from the breaker box to the wiring behind the wall. He replaced the outlet and plug, and fixed some wall wiring. He originally quoted me a fair price and has always been great to work with, so I followed up recently to move forward. We confirmed the charger details, price, the location, and scheduled a specific date and time, but he never showed up, never called, and never texted. I reached out on the scheduled day about an hour after the scheduled window asking for an updated ETA (since I understand things happen) but got no reply. I called another hour after, no answer. I waited a day and called again to see if we could reschedule, still no response. I left a voicemail and waited another day before trying again. Same result. Eventually, I had a friend call him from their number, and he picked up almost immediately. I sent another text asking for either an update or to let me know if he was no longer available for the project so I could explore other options. Still no response. Called the main number again, nothing. It wasn't until I called his cell, which went unanswered, that I received a vague text apologizing for any "delay this has caused" and saying he'd follow up the next day for my "repair". He never did. It's frustrating because I've trusted Ben with every electrical project in my home for years and always spoke highly of him. This time, though, the lack of communication and accountability really soured that trust. It's unprofessional to ghost a long-time customer and then send a generic, poorly written, excuse message days later. If you need electrical work done with care and professionalism this is a great company to call . I…read morewas able to get an appointment squeezed into an already busy schedule as most companies including this are usually booked up a couple weeks out which is fair . But unlike the other companies Brushy Creek Electric made and exception for my small but tedious job and where able to come out the next day . I basically had a Sonos SL One speaker in wall mounting kit that needed an outlet added to the inside of the mounting box where the speaker sits. This is so you don't have to run any plugs inside the wall but rather just plug the speaker into the wall mount itself . This isn't like a regular cord hiding kit where you just cut a hole up top and then another one next to the outlet on bottom to plug it in with the cord showing on bottom. It actually needs to be hardwired into the existing electrical wires in the wall and I wasn't about to attempt to mess with it myself not knowing one thing about electrical work other than hanging simple lights and fans. On top of the fact that my stud / wire finder was saying there where wires I could possibly cut through by accident behind the sheet rock. Also the fact this whole project was under my staircase which is built a little different from the rest of the interior walls so it's sketchy for me to just cut away. The kit is by ( Thenos ) not Thanos from the Avengers by the way which will pop up on autocorrect every time you look for the company on google incase you want one lol . I'm happy I chose Brushy Creek Electric , Greg was patient with my questions very neat with the work he did and affordable considering what I was asking him to do. He was also pretty quick with the job and made sure everything worked as it should before completing the job . I will say I called around plenty of other reputable companies and got twice the price and a longer wait time for an appointment as I did with Brushy Creek Electric. I'm not saying he's super cheap because to be fair all jobs change depending on the task and difficulty level which you should always consider . I am saying he will get the job done rite at a reasonable competitive price according to the industry standards and you won't have to worry about issues later because he definitely knows what he's doing . I say this because its not fair to make up this idea that because someone got a good deal on a job that you deserve to pay less than what is recommended and then get angry when it's not what you expect on a quote . There is always a standard most people charge it's their livelihood but this company is very fair with their prices and if they say something costs higher than what you expect to pay just remember another company might charge double just because they have a big head on their shoulders and haven't been around as long.
