Not only is the menu excellent (notably including nondairy milk, some noncaffeinated options, and fruit-based drinks that use actual fruit rather than mixes), my family very much appreciated the owner. We went to her shop twice while in Anaheim on a long weekend trip, and the second time we were on a deadline but before actual opening hours... when she saw us looking at the posted hours she graciously opened about 20min early and cranked up the speed on the boba cooking (which still turned out perfectly!!). I ordered an Oreo bubble waffle with strawberries and vanilla ice cream along with a lychee drink. The lychee drink came out quite timely, but it was taking a bit longer for the bubble waffle which I could understand as they needed to pour it in the mold and everything. However, someone else's bubble waffle order came out before mine and their order number was several numbers after mine, so when I asked them for the status of my order, it was quite apparent that they forgot to make it because one of them said out loud Oreo waffle and the other workers looked confused. They assured it would be out in a few minutes, so I waited. Afterwards, when they called me over for it, not only did it not have what I asked for to be on it, they put Nutella on it which I'm allergic to. At that point, I felt like I waited long enough and I didn't want it anymore, so they were friendly enough to provide me a refund and apologized for the inconvenience. It was not mixed into the drink and rather stuck to the sides of the cup. Was not well incorporated so when trying to drink from the straw, it came out as chunks without any actual milk tea -Dragonfruit Lychee Slush (0/10) Was not enjoyable whatsoever. I could not finish drinking the half of it. There's more chunks of lychee and I was not a fan. The ENTIRE time they were making our drinks, they were laughing and messing around. Very Deceiving(Tourist Trap)! I have boba a lot-and this was a disgrace! I ordered thai milk tea with normal boba, but the server wrote down taro milk tea with mango popping boba. I understand people make mistakes so i go up to fix the mistake and she says she'll fix it. They give me a drink labeled taro milk tea with normal boba. First of all, the mistake wasn't corrected. Second of all, it was not taro milk tea. This was something borderline repulsive I've never had before. It left a sour taste in my mouth like EXPIRED MILK! My friend who ordered the same thing as me thankfully got what he ordered but even his tea wasn't good. It was watered down HEAVILY-his was still edible though(the bear minimum). I disregarded immediately because no one else liked it either. Not authentic or "modern" just inedible. I will never come back here again-a disgrace to boba culture.
