We celebrated a birthday today and really enjoyed ourselves. The restaurant is clean, open and inviting. The staff is super friendly and engaged with us the entire time. We stared with a Paloma and Aperol Spritz to drink and some pretzel bats to nibble on. It came with three dippers; a mustard, pimento cheese and cinnamon butter. We loved all of the dips! The pimento cheese was my fave and the butter was perfectly balanced in sweetness and cinnamon. For our entree, I ordered the Caprese sandwich with sweet potato tots and my daughter ordered the chicken avocado club with fries. I was expecting the sandwich to be on a toasty ciabatta roll but it was a soft roll instead. It was surprisingly soft and delicious. My daughter devoured her club; she left no crumbs. Overall had a wonderful experience here and I can't wait to come back to enjoy a game out on the air conditioned patio. read more

The restaurant was packed. The noise level was loud. Having a conversation was difficult. The service was just OK. Our waitress was young and inexperienced. Seating for two was quick, not more than 10 minutes. Our order was taken about 10 minutes after seating. We ordered a "build your own" flatbread and a New Orleans muffalatto. It took about 30 minutes to get our order. The waitress forgot our drinks and we got another waitress to bring them. The flatbread turned out to be a pizza. It was very good. Whoever designed the muffalatto has never tasted one. It was awful and I sent it back after two bites. This place may be going through growing pains. read more

Six of us visited this evening for dinner and are we glad we did. The quality of all food items was excellent and the service provided by Monica was also quite good. This being the first weekend that the restaurant is open lead to a bit of a wait but that is expected with how overwhelmingly busy the place was. We will be back another time and will tell all of our neighbors and friends about this place. A 35 minute drive well worth taking for sure. read more

The service was top notch! The waiter never let our drinks get empty, and had great suggestions. I had a burger rare, and it was phenomenal!!!!!! Very juicy (and good messy) bun was soft, the fries were the shoestring ones could have been fried a little more, but still good. Went with a group that got mostly burgers and they all said theirs were cooked perfect. We did have some younger ones that ordered a pizza, and if your a real foodie I would probably stay away from that menu item as it looked like frozen dough. read more

We looked forward to trying this restaurant after all the glowing reviews on FB. Man were they wrong. First, they have the skinny fries (like Potato Stix in the bag). I hate skinny fries. The fries were also stale and flavorless. They call them " seasoned fries". What seasoning?!!! The 2 other guests with me agreed. I had the Chicken Avocado Club and the other 2 got the Southern BLT. All again lacked flavor, especially the chicken. The bacon had flavor but was very, very chewy. One part was like an eraser. On the positive side the waitress we had was very attentive. read more

Food and service was amazing. When asked about recommendations, the server told us about his favorites based on trying various dishes when going through training. The atmosphere is great for watching sporting events and our waitress was friendly. There are far too many items on the menu-they need to offer fewer options and do a better job on quality and taste. The food was just okay. We tried the pizzas, Chicken Parmesan, Pretzel bats, and grouper sandwich. There was very little fish in the sandwich and the pizzas and Chicken Parmesan were quite mediocre. The Pretzel bats were great but we didn't get small plates to go with the appetizer until we were almost done with it. I also ordered a side salad which was fine but it came on a hot plate so it made the lettuce wilt a bit and seemed very odd since salads should be served on chilled plates. We were a party of four and one of our meals came out 10 minutes after the other three meals which was not ideal at all. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. read more

Came in with my gf and two kids and waited 15 minutes to be seated which is perfectly fine because they were busy but then once sat we weren't approached once. We sat outside at our table for over 10 minutes. Several waiters and waitresses walked by and didn't acknowledge us once. We decided to get up and leave. I let the hostesses know but they didn't offer to grab a manager or try and remedy the situation. This was our first time coming in too. We were looking forward to giving them a shot :( read more

Firt visit here and will go back again, but hopefully a different server. I wont mention him by name but he was so over the top it was actually annnoying in the end, everytime he came over we all cringed. The food was good though and very reasonably price. My friend ordered the tater tots with bacon jam for an appetizer which 4 of us shared. They were absolutely delish, I would order them again in a heartbeat, who knew tater tots could be that good. I had the chicken, and bacon sandwhich, it was a little bland, but we added the bacon jam and it was perfect. I will be back again as I would like to try anoter option. We were seated quickly and it was a busy lunchtime, staff at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. It was a good choice for lunch. read more

First time dining @ Chapin Ale this evening, five stars! We arrived early and got a table right away. We started with perfectly made, fresh side salads with the best dressing. We enjoyed the "Pit Boss" pizza--a delicious creation with yummy handmade crust, white sauce, pulled pork, peppers and drizzled with barbecue sauce. Monica took great care of us, making sure we had everything we could possibly need. The price was also quite reasonable. Will definitely be back and will highly recommend. read more

My wife and I had dinner tonight for the first time since the reopening of this restaurant. We ordered drinks, chicken tenders, salad and pizza. The drinks were a light pour, the pizza tasted like a frozen pizza. Disappointing since this place has pizza ovens. The salad was fine as were the tenders. Just had a great lunch here today. We started off with the crispy brussel sprouts which were delicious. My sweet husband would normally turn his nose up said "not bad". Which translates into high praise. The prosciutto and fig flatbread was so good and the burger was also delicious. We got there early enough that we got seated right away and our server was a delightful young woman who was attentive to our needs. They will definitely be seeing us again soon. read more

Holy smokes folks! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Their food safety and sanitation practices are vile. I watched the manager working expo wipe his sweaty brow several times with his bare hands and returned directly to touching food and plates without washing his hands. I saw the same manager eat food off a plate waiting to be delivered to a table. 6 different servers or cook filled glassware up with soda and brought into the kitchen when they should be using covered plastic vessels. I witnessed the pizza oven cook pick their teeth with their fingers nails and go right back to food prep. Whoever runs/owns this place has no restaurant experience. 90% of the food is clearly frozen, very little fresh made. The menu design is a messYou don't even need to worry about how poor the service is because of how disgusting and unsafe their practices are. Another restaurant in town with zero standards or pride. Don't even get me started on the super weird AI generated wallpaper. read more

Went there for the first time on Friday. All I can say is wow. I was excited for my food but I was moreso distracted by my incredibly dashing and charming waiter. I believe his name was Sage. He took care of our table with such elegance and manner that you don't see that often these days. A wonderful experience and I will be coming back. read more

Horrible first time visit. We left before we even ordered food. We got into the restaurant with nobody waiting ahead of us and they said they had a 25 minute wait! I look around and see 3 tables open but figured maybe they are short handed. Then after 20+ minutes we were seated. Menus given by the hostess but nobody came to our table for 10 (yes 10) minutes to ask if we wanted anything to drink. When we got up and left a manager immediately stopped us saying "is there something wrong?". I told him the story. He said "how can I make this better for you?" in a very deadpan, lack of caring voice about our situation. Good god....he was sitting at the bar 2 tables away from us and could easily see we were not being served at all during that time. I just shook my head and said "you can't....I'm too annoyed by this whole experience" and we left. Shame on you Chapin Ale House you need to do MUCH better! read more
