Great spot when you're craving poke in the area! Parking is easy in the plaza, and service is quick and friendly. The store was empty when we arrived at 1 PM on a Saturday. The place had a casual and easygoing vibe to it. We ordered a large bowl to split, but honestly they loaded it up with rice and a bit less fish than expected, so it felt a little light on protein for the size. Still, the salmon and yellowtail were solid and flavorful, and I really liked that they have chili oil as a topping to add some heat. Overall, it's a good option to satisfy your poke craving. Decent portion size and quality for the price. I'd come back to try more combos!
Came in on a Monday afternoon. I ordered a poke bowl with spicy tuna and Chaodown mix. My bowl was good, proteins were fresh. My bf ordered a hot bowl and was immediately told by the blonde young lady that it would take 15 minutes to make. She seemed bothered that we said yes to waiting for it. Bowl took about 10 minutes to come out which was fine. As you can see in the photo, the sauce was caked on. It was pretty spicy with dry greasy chicken on the inside. I'm not sure why that bowl is even an option if it's made like that. I would not recommend this place for the hot bowls
I found this spot on Yelp and the name made me laugh! We were in the area and hungry for lunch so we came in and so glad we did. Chaodown has lots of great protein selections. I got the regular bowl that has two scoops - and they were big scoops. I went with the Chaodown mix - which is marinated tuna and salmon, plus yellowtail. The yellowtail was low so she added fresh yellow tail to mine. I did half salad mix and half brown rice. Lots of great toppings and sauces too. I went with the spicy sweet mayo and the wasabi cream - Wasabi cream was really spicy - I sneezed after my first bite -but I thought it gave it a nice kick. My husband had the XL and it was enormous. Five scoops of protein! Personally regular was plenty for me. I thought all the fish looked really fresh and loved all the topping choices. Plus the bowls were really reasonably priced compared to others we've visited. They also have lots of drinks, mochis and other desserts. I treated myself to a fish ice cream with matcha - one of my favorite desserts. So good. It's a family owned place and has a great friendly vibe and plenty of seats for a quick lunch. Definitely recommended!
My most favorite poki in Roseville! They portions are generous, the quality of food is so fresh and tasty and the service is so friendly, fast and efficient. The restaurant is clean, cozy and cute. If you haven't had Chaodown Poki before, I highly recommend. Only problem is that you might become addicted. I love how filling but light the food is.

Look at how packed my bowl was! I was so happy that they had a vegetarian bowl option with reasonable price since I have a hard time justifying having to pay regular prices for tofu and not seafood. They literally had all my favorite toppings plus more! My only complaint is I wished I asked for extra sauce in my bowl! This place is so worth your money and I will definitely be back again!!
My friend and I came here after a trip to the Galleria on a Saturday afternoon around 4 PM. We were craving poke and found this spot on Yelp. Since we weren't super hungry, we decided to share one poke bowl with two scoops of protein. It was around $15, and honestly, for what we got, it was so worth it. We asked for three scoops of salmon and basically all the available toppings. We ended up with a mountain of food--partly because we chose salad greens as our base, and they really don't skimp. I can't remember the exact sauce we chose, but it was a soy-yuzu mix, and it paired perfectly with everything. The staff member helping us was incredibly sweet. My friend doesn't like jalapeño or pineapple, but I do, so she put those in a separate bowl so we could split everything easily once we sat down. Which was a thoughtful touch. Everything tasted fresh--the toppings, the greens, and especially the fish. The interior also has plenty of seating, and it's a nice space to sit and enjoy your bowl, which we did. Overall, I'd highly recommend this place to anyone in the area and will definitely be back whenever we're in Roseville.
I always crave Chaodown Poki! I'm thinking I need to be here at least once a week! I was just in here the other day and thinking... I have been to other poki places and nothing compares to the freshness, the flavor... and THE PRICE! I am always satisfied with the flavor and I am so happy that after getting a large bowl (5 scoops of protein!) I have enough to make 2 meals out of it! I always go with their fresh salmon (there is tuna and scallops available as well), but let's start with the base... I have them put in some spring mix in the togo container and then cover that with some white rice. Brown rice is an option as well. Next, you pick your protein. In a separate bowl, they put your protein into it and you have your choice of success they can toss it in. I like a sweet and savory, with some spicy, so I go with sweet and spicy mayo, salty sesame shoyou, sometimes sweet unagi, and definitely add sesame and chili oil... what can I say, I am a saucy girl! Then they put that tossed fresh fish over the base. Then you pick your toppings. There is a soft boiled egg, cucumber, pineapple, crab mix, seaweed salad, kimchee, masago (they also have spicy), jalapenos, green onions, and so many more choices. To top it off, you can add the chili oil, soy sauce, furkake, and crispy wontons. For measly $22 and change your got an easy 2 meals. Please, don't forget to leave a tip! I like to sit inside and eat half here. They are always working hard with online orders and customers walking in. I like to use the chopsticks, but I also get a togo fork as well in case my daughter eats my other half (highly likely!) The biggest reason for this review is that this is the best price around. The best fresh flavor around! If you guys like poki bowls, I absolutely encourage you to come to Chaodown Poki and I promise you'll be a fan, too! There is teriyaki chicken here as well if you aren't down with the fresh taste of fish!

Upset. I went out in the pouring rain to pick up my order and I am again disappointed with the pre-order. I placed online through grubbhub and I'm missing items that I did request as topping in my bowl. As the screenshots show I requested an egg and crab salad and found neither in my order. I'm giving h them a 1 star because I hope they can somehow compensate. This is not the first time this has happened however it is the second consecutive time this has happened I love it here and I am really disappointed because I was really excited for lunch. I hope to hear back from the shop because I have spent a lot of money here and have recommended it to a lot of people. Also ordered raw salmon and I got cooked and none of my sauces

I ordered from this poke restaurant this past Saturday, and was excited about how many options they had for toppings and sauces. When I went to eat my bowl after I had gotten home, I realized that the shrimp were not de-veined. Not just one, but ALL of them. You'd think that a poke restaurant would know to de-vein the shrimp, but apparently not.

Second times a charm! Came here a few years ago and was not impressed , like at all, so never came back since. I happened to be running errands nearby with my last stop being at Ben's Barketplace next door to here. So thought I'd try it out again . Glad I did. The fish quality was a lot better than I remembered. And got a large portion, this guy gave some hefty scoops which I appreciated. Inside is cozy, clean. Service was ok. Not super friendly but not rude either so that works out for me. Definitely will come back again now read more

I love this place. Like chipotle but better. You walk up pick your rice and protein in the toppings. Everything was so fresh. And they're very generous with their potions. Highly recommend the sweet unagi sauce and sweet and spicy mayo. The samples friendly and helpful in picking out choices. Place is clean ,just wish they had more comfortable seats. read more

Small, humble, not particularly good looking nor sparkling clean. Nice employees greet, take the order and then make the meal. But the poke is serviceable. No worse than some I've eaten on Kauai, where I vacation every year. Salad greens are crispy fresh. The spicy tuna mash tastes like the stuff I get in Hawaii. The shrimp tempura is some kinda batter that's shaped into a cylinder, breaded and fried. For the same price as a McDonalds combo burger meal you can eat something here that's much healthier, more tasty and will set in your stomach much more peacefully. Pat yourself on the back, you didn't kill a cow to eat here. read more

Amazing food. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their bowls (tuna, spicy tuna, and teriyaki chicken were all delicious) and the serving size was large for a regular (smallest size with two scoops). Great service with a good amount of seating inside. We would absolutely come here again. read more

I went to Chaodown Poki on a weekday and the line was not too long. This place is generous with their portions so you're getting your money's worth compared to other poke spots. The food tasted fresh and the sauces were good. The staff delivered great service. There is plenty of parking. I hope to come back soon! read more
