We were able to pick out the materials on our own and was able to ask questions and get a quote of what we needed. The customer service was attentive and excellent! It is definitely a better option to go here for your landscaping needs. 2 cubic feet compared to 0.5 cubic feet from Home Depot! Fewer bags to deal with. Really disappointed in my experience here…read more I have a small project (replacing a shower bench) and called ahead to ask about wood options and milling. The person I spoke to was helpful, recommended specific woods that would work well for a shower environment, and confirmed they could mill it to the exact dimensions I needed. Yay! So about a week later, I made the trip across the bridge. When I got there, the warehouse staff were friendly and helped me choose wood, but when I went to purchase and arrange the milling, I was told they don't mill exotic woods. Even the warehouse employee who helped me select the wood was surprised by this. I asked for alternative recommendations, but the options were all too thin for a shower bench. The disconnect between what I was told on the phone and what I experienced in store was genuinely frustrating, and the drive across the bridge ended up being a huge waste of my time. MacBeath seems like a great resource if you have your own tools and equipment at home, but if you're a smaller customer who needs milling services, I'd call ahead and get very specific confirmation on exactly what they can and can't do before making the drive.

They're a hardware store too -They have multiple pickup spots. TL:DR VERSION: I went there to find a shelf and find some 2x4s. They turned out to have way more than just that. They're a full-on hardware store. I ended up also getting wood screws, plastic sheeting, and painters tape too. Staff was very helpful and friendly. One of them helped me find wood for shelf (in the size, color, and finish that worked for my project) and order 2x4s They have multiple pickup locations for different orders, all within a block of each other. I got my 2x4s behind the store, and the guys happily cut them to the lengths I needed. They directed me to their other location acrid the street. I went down Folger a little too far and ended up in their other outdoor lot. The gent I talked to in one of the offices was very friendly and helpful. He stopped the work he was doing and walked out in the rain to show me where their corner warehouse is. The guys at the corner warehouse were also friendly. They got my order cut to size and loaded it into my trunk. One of them helped me with a refund on items I didn't need. This is the best experience I've ever had at a hardware store. Their service is exceptional, and they had everything I needed.
