Nice clean place to wash, close to main avenue, fast food places and supermarket. Is clean and quiet, the machines are well kept and in good working order... I like washing here read more

This laundromat is very dirty from the floors to the counter tops. The machines that have laundry supplies do not work, they are jammed.

this place has gone downhill bad! please avoid and go else where! dryers do not work even with the prices going up. we spent $20 on dryers and for nothing! our clothing did not dry and we were not going to spend more! we went else where. this place is dirty too! when tuesday worked here she cleaned 24/7!!!! i was folding clothes in the folding area and cleaned it and it was so dirty! the soap dispenser by the sink doesn't work anymore either... trash everywhere.... homeless hanging out in here without even washing. tuesday kept the business clean and strictly only allowed customers to be inside. don't waste your $ here! read more

Change Is Good Laundry - DIRTY folding area! - Laundromat Near Me - Escondido, California

See all

They have a shit load of cockroaches their washers have sticky slimy gunk. The dryers don't dry shit at all and there is gum in the dryers that stuck to my clothes. I left very unsatisfied and that is the most unsanitary place to "clean" clothes. It feels like I went and made my clothes dirtier than they were. read more

Very helpful with helping navigate the laundry machines. Nice and clean. Everything is very organized.

Customer service is great super helpful is you've never been to a laundry mat before!!

This place is disgusting. First, the name is changed. Second it's all homeless people that appear to be extremely unkept and it stunk bad. The dryers took $.75 and only gave me 7 minutes of dry time. I came just to use the dryer but never again. read more

Supposedly it's a COIN laundry and their machine doesn't even work to give coins. Terrible customer service and no communication. If their machine is not working they should have coins to give to customers at least. If the machine doesn't work then just close the business for the day. SMH. read more

They are very awesome! great help when ask for help ! mans he even told us about the free wash I was supper happy read more

Change Is Good Laundry - Amazing - Laundromat Near Me - Escondido, California

Change is Good Laudrymat is the next best thing to having your own washer & dryer. Family atmosphere, security onsite, vending machines, close to eateries, the Senior Center, and Food for Less. If wiring for your clothes to be done isn't your thing, obviously there are things nearby to help pass the time. Change is Good also provides a wash , dry, and fold service should your schedule prevent you from doing so your self. Thumbs Up Change Is Good Laudrymat read more

So happy to find a coin laundry in the area where I could get my laundry done while on the road. Clean and lots of machines. There's fro-yo next store. Definitely recommended. read more

We left laundry here for the wash n fold on Sunday. They promised next day they will call us. It is now Tuesday night and no one is in the facility, when they said 6-10 they are open. My GF is waiting outside until someone is there if no one shows, I will notify authorities tomorrow. I have no clothes for work. Do not go here. Do not support this business. read more

They are terrible. How can a business like this even be open with no restroom for the customers. The girl here on Wednesday morning 11am she would not give her name but said the restroom is out of service and she goes and uses it right after. I get it the homeless mess up the restroom but you can not exclude your paying customers. There should not be a business allowed to just randomly close the restroom or even be open if they do not provide a restroom and the facility is falling apart some of the dryers don't work and they don't even tell you. Very sad I will never be back and everyone should avoid this place read more

Very conflicted on my review of their wash and fold service. They did a really great job but they lied about the weight of my clothes, charging me $80 for a couple hampers of laundry, claiming it was over 50 lbs. I'll never come back because I'd pay $20 doing it myself. read more

This place is good any staff cleans it but dam the staff needs to be nicer the girl that works here not sure what her name is she is rude is always yelling and she brought her kids to work and she's yelling at them then she's using the machines and there's people here waiting for her to finish like I'm not upset that she's washing her own clothes but do it when you're not super busy or do it at the end of the day now they are hiding karts in a locked room there's only three that people can use read more

Used their fluff and fold service, very clean inside! Wasn't too crowded, and the employees were super nice! (Especially Stephanie!)

I've been working my ass off due to COVID and Change is Good fluff and fold has saved my life! Tuesdae is awesome and super fast.

Great spot for a quality fluff and fold turn around! Tuesdae provided such great and positive customer service, will be returning in the future! read more

I've come here quite often and it's always in appropriate condition. These pics were taken early so the place is extremely clean to start the day. I've come in the middle of the day on Wednesday, or in the evening on Friday and it looks great. I'm confused about all the homeless talk. The city of Escondido has a homeless situation, not this one business. Parking is always available. I hate doing laundry, but when I need to I come here from my apartment complex in San Marcos because it's clean & machines are reliable. What more do you want. read more

Phenomenal service! They always answer when I call and the staff is very professional. Quick turn around and their hours are perfect for busy parents. Prices are also the best that I could find. Overall quick, great customer service, and excellent prices. read more

Such a pleasant experience! The place is very clean and family owned and the staff is very friendly. The equipment is brand new and all working great and the vending machines and TVs made my time there fly by. They still use coins, which I prefer as those card machines with weird pricing always make you wonder and tokens... Who wants carry remaining tokens? It is also the cheapest place around, I did my research. Highly recommended. read more

one time i left my close drying, and i came back to the laundry store then i realized half of my close were gone, then this homeless was wearing my jeans and my shirt, and once i confronted him about it he tried to stab me. never coming back! read more

The owner, Valerie, is amazing. We've had the craziest schedule lately and their fluff n fold service is the best we've found. Clothes cleaned very well and hung or folded as we would like. And at the end of it all we barely pay more than we would if we would've sat there the whole time. GREAT SERVICE!! read more

I took two hampers of clothes to Change is Good Laundry on Tuesday morning, hoping they would be done by the end of the day. I was promised they would be ready by lunch Wednesday. At the time, I didn't notice, but they didn't give me a receipt. I called Wednesday after lunch, as I hadn't heard from them. My clothes were not ready. They hadn't even started. A lot of laundry orders had come in that day. I was told my clothes would be ready today, Thursday, shortly after lunch. I went in person to pick them up, and there was no one there. The manager's office was closed and locked. They weren't answering their phone. The manager hours are apparently 9-12 and 6-9. I came back after 6 pm, and still no one was there. There's no sign of my clothes, and I could smell pot smoke from the manager's office. I left a message. Two and a half days, and they still have my clothes and my hampers. I will update this review when I hear from them or have to file a police report. read more

Great place! Huge machines, very clean & a great price. I come up from Poway to use these machines for my comforter. I've seen the owner a couple times, and to my surprise he knows my name! Always says hello & makes sure his business is running smoothly! Plus, the name is great too! read more

I regularly use this laundromat for several reasons. First, there is plenty of parking in the shopping center. Second, the machines are coin operated. I'm not a fan of buying loaded cards to use with laundry machines. Third, the place is nicely kept and it has a TV. Finally, the owners are very responsive to questions or concerns. I highly recommend it if you live nearby. read more
