I came here for alterations to hem two new pairs of pants that were two long. They did a wonderful job and now I look very professional and tailored. The hemming of two pants cost $32. It was done in 2 days. I requested it on Saturday and picked up on Tuesday. They are open Monday - Friday 9a-6:30p, Saturday 9-5 and closed Sunday. I'll be back for any alterations and to try the cleaning. A plus is there are a bunch of plants and greenery in the guest area to sooth the mind. read more

I needed to get a suit tailored for a wedding in a rush! I walked in and was greeted right away by a nice lady whose name I didn't not catch, I assume she's is Suzy!I tired my suit on and it needed quite a bit of tailoring. It was no issue! She was not deterred or discouraged. When I got my suit back it fit better then any suit I have ever owned. I took another suit to her .. same result. It's safe to say this my go to spot for all dry cleaning and tailoring needs. My partner has had two bridesmaids dresses tailored here as well and couldn't have been happier with the results. After moving to Escondido. I tried a new yes please and went to Susie's cleaners on Tuesday and give them a few pants for dry cleaning and was told that it will be ready on Friday. When I went there to get my stuff I was told that they're not ready and that it might not be today this will be the first and last time I will be using this please because obviously they have no respect of your time and your schedule and don't know what they're doing. I've been using Suzys for about 3 years. Up until my last few interactions it's been a great place to bring my dry cleaning stuff. No complaints. Last time I picked up my cleaning 2 sweaters smelled like Febreze. We don't use Febreze in our household nor do I like the smell of it. It smelled like it had been sprayed with it. I thought that was odd and brought them back to her still wrapped in the plastic, explaining to her that it has a perfume smell now that didn't come from my me or my household. I gave them back to her to clean again thinking she wouldn't charge me. Fast forward to today, just picked him up and she charged me again for cleaning. I tried to explain to her that I had to bring them back because it was something that happened in her shop. She disagreed and charged me anyway. I told her I disagreed with her decision and paid. They don't smell fabric freshener perfumie anymore, but I was charged twice for something that I should've only been charged once. So five stars minus 3 for negative experience = 2 stars and one less customer. read more

I have used this dry cleaner for years. I have never had one issue with them in the least. In fact, all of my experiences have been positive. By far my favorite thing is that they do all of their work in-house. That means they don't have to tag items and send them out to larger cleaning facilities, which risks the other facilities losing or mixing up your dry cleaning. That's happened to me at countless other places. Also, whatever they use to clean doesn't stink like the standard dry cleaning smell. When I pick up my clothes, they are fresh, nicely pressed, and ready to wear. They are a little more expensive than the standard dry cleaning service, but maybe that's because of all the little extra perks. I don't mind paying the extra cost. They have done alterations and repairs for free on numerous occasions, and the ladies there are always sweet and helpful. I wanted to write this because the other review was so negative I thought another opinion was necessary. It also reminded me I need to go pick up my dry cleaning. read more

Is there an honest Dry Cleaner in Escondido? I guess not. I called in advance to find out Suzy's prices. I spoke to an Asian woman who said her name was Angela (?) or something like that hard to tell from the accent. She quoted me $2/shirt no extra charge for french cuffs. When I picked up the 16 shirts I dropped off she charged me $ 2.50 a shirt. When I said she quoted me $2 she said starch is 50 cents extra. Now this raises ripoff to a whole new level. Use Suzy if you want to get fleeced and don't use Crown Cleaners either, they run an operation rated F by the better business bureau. Suzy should get an F too. read more

I also had a bad experience with this cleaners. I had used them for several years and was mostly happy with them, but they did ruin a dress of mine and I said nothing and continued to use them. But then, they ruined a custom made velvet dress. I brought it in and showed the owner and she said it was fine and they did nothing. She showed me how they had pressed it and even then she handled it wrong in front of me, steaming the velvet directly rather than on the reverse side as I had done while making the dress. Only after a protracted, heated argument with me and my husband, and then telling her we would take it to court, did she cover the cost of the velvet fabric ONLY - nothing for my labor in making the dress.
