It was extremely helpful! He educated me on different shaped diamonds, GIA vs. EGL and answered any questions i had. John and I discussed all of the specs that were important to me for my stone and brought in diamonds week after week that met those specifications, for me to look at. He also helped me design my setting. I love how honest both John and Mary Anne are. You can trust them a 110% John will always tell his honest opinion. There were times that he preferred a stone that was $2,000 less then a stone I was looking at and would tell me that. Since getting my engagement ring there, my brother has also purchased his fiances engagement ring with them and had a fantastic experience as well. I've also had several rings re-dipped, clasps replaced, necklaces cleaned, watches repaired etc. and everything has come out perfectly. I would highly, highly, highly reccommend Sofia's! Neat Fact: Johns first love, asside from classic cars, is watch making! He was educated in Switzerland on fixing timepieces and it is a labor of love for him. Unfortunately, the outcome of my final tattoo was extremely disappointing. During the session, my skin was overworked significantly, which resulted in multiple scars. I have never gotten scars from any other tattoo. During the healing process I had an open wound in the center from my skin being dug into. There are also major inconsistencies in the black ink saturation throughout the piece, so much so that parts are fading out. The tattoo itself ending up not following the reference, as a lot of the lines are shaky, the center of the flower lacks definition, and the petals are not cohesive. I understand that tattoo artists can become exhausted, especially during long sessions, which is why I wish I was firmly told to come back another day. If an artist is too tired to give a piece their full attention and care, it would be far better to firmly reschedule for another day rather than continue working while fatigued. This experience genuinely impacted my confidence and how I feel about my body, which is really upsetting because my goal with tattoos is to feel more in tune with myself and style. Unfortunately, the outcome has led me to begin the tattoo removal process, which is both emotionally and financially stressful for me and is about to cost me a lot more than this tattoo.

They were from the start honest and straight to the point. I finally was able to pop in and have them look at my ring to see if possible. They told me yes, left it with them, and to come back the following day.
