The man who did my nails was efficient but a bit too fast at times. Towards the end, some of the nails didn't feel 100% dry. After 3-4 days, the clear coat started to chip away or coming off. The pink nail polish itself is still on because I was told that gel nail polish lasts for about 2 weeks. PRICE -- My sister-in-law paid so I don't know how much the manicure was but I suspect over $40. Since I don't live in Columbus, I don't plan to come back here but for my time there, a 3/5 rating seems fair. Online, their listed hours said they closed at 7:00 PM. To be sure, I even called ahead and was told the same. However, when I arrived well before 5:00 PM, the door was propped open, the lights were on, and the "Open" sign was clearly displayed. A few clients were still being serviced, one technician was idle, and the atmosphere suggested they were still open for business. As I approached to sign in, I was asked what service I needed. I replied that I wanted a balance. Without hesitation, I was told, "We're closed." Confused, I responded, "Online it says you close at 7." The woman then told me, "It's 4, I have another person, and we close at 5." None of this matched the information I had received. What stood out most was her demeanor and she avoided eye contact, didn't offer any apology or explanation, and the interaction left me feeling deeply uncomfortable and unwelcome. There were no other customers of color present, and the experience made me feel as though I wasn't wanted there. To add to the frustration, I waited 25 minutes after leaving and called again. This time, someone else answered and again confirmed that they close at 7. As a resident of the neighborhood, it was disheartening to feel dismissed and disregarded like this, especially knowing how much my partner and I contribute to this community. I cannot in good faith recommend this business based on the treatment I received. For contrast, I drove just three minutes away to TA Nails & Spa, where I was warmly greeted, treated with respect, and received excellent service. I was in and out in 45 minutes and more importantly, I felt seen and valued.
