Danny spent the time to listen to what I enjoyed and found I might enjoy fly streamer fishing more than watching an indicator. He helped teach me where my borrowed equipment would do well and where it would struggle. He helped coach me on the upgrades that would matter for a more enjoyable experience. He only carries a few brands, but they are brands he believes in. Danny then spent 1.5 hrs with me fishing a local pond in Plano. While we didn't catch anything (not the goal), he is a patient teacher, meeting me where I was currently at. His teaching was mix of mechanics and fish behaviors.
