He politely told them the owner doesn't want him to adjust the temperature. When our order was brought to the table I asked also telling him it was too hot and the staff in the kitchen must be miserable. He looked nervous but said maybe he could adjust the temperature a little bit and hopefully the owner won't notice. It got a bit cooler as we are. Now for the food........it was so salty that neither of us finished our meals. No other flavor except for salt......so much salt and small portions. If the owner is willing to sacrifice the well being of the employees and quality of food then I'll dine elsewhere.

Champs Chicken is a hot food counter located inside of the CPC - Culpeper Petroleum Cooperative - a combo gas station and convenience store. I was planning on ordering a custom breakfast sandwich - but when I asked, they stated they were all out of "breakfast" food supplies. I wanted to order a Bacon, Egg, &Cheese biscuit - with extra Bacon & Cheese; and a Sausage, Egg, & Cheese with extra Sausage & Cheese. But could not due to them running out of breakfast food supplies. I ended up purchasing one each of their standard pre-made Bacon, Egg, & Cheese and Sausage, Egg, & Cheese from the warmer.
