My main Mechanic at YOSEMITE AUTO CARE, referred me to JEFF at CHAMPIONSHIP MUFFLER, for some repairs when I hit a stray bucket on the freeway. A part had to be ordered, and Jeff said it would take 5 days to ship it from Kentucky. On my way to an appointment, I was struck yet again by debris on the freeway, totally dislocating the Exhaust System. I cancelled my appointment, and headed to Championship Muffler to apprise Jeff of my new situation. Luckily, the replacement part was just delivered, and Jeff went right to work on repairs. the Service is fantastic, and the price was very reasonable. Thanks Jeff !! read more

Tried taking my Dad's Honda Oddesy van to get smogged this morning, only to find out someone stole his cat converter. Drove the car here since it is close to his house. Jeff was nice enough to help me immediately and confirmed my suspicions. It had been stolen. Filed a police report while he looked at it. Dropped it off at about 9 am, was ready by 1:30. Jeff was extremely patient and professional! We had an issue with the credit card, and he was even helpful with that. Glad I found this place and the price seemed fair. Highly recommend this place. Thanks again Jeff. read more

I have a 25 year old beater of a car that I use as a daily driver for the work/home commute, the faithful guy has 240K miles on the clock and still ticking. Noticed that the muffler started hanging low and the exhaust was making more noise than the norm. Looked up places to bring the car in since I have never had to deal with a muffler/exhaust issue. I am so thankful I found Jeff and so close to home. He said he would take a look at it and let me know. I thought I was going to have to replace the whole muffler, but Jeff was honest and said I could get away with just having the pipe fixed and it would cost less. Things are so expensive nowadays that saving any money helps. I am very appreciative of that and couldn't thank him enough. More repair shops need to operate this way. I would recommend Championship Muffler and Jeff to anyone that needs muffler/exhaust work. read more

I have a German car and the muffler hanger bracket broke off and separated from the muffler. He rewelded and now it's lower than the other muffler. Not terrible but I expected that along with reattaching things he would position it correctly to match so they're the same on each side. I asked him about it and he said, "I welded it back in it's original position." Sure would have been nice if he tried to measure the other one to match the hung height. read more

Jeff installed a new muffler and welded up some exhaust leaks for a VERY reasonable price. Excellent work and service, thank you!

Jeff is great! I called in the afternoon and he was able to see me for the install of a cat-back muffler system that I had purchased. Pricing was reasonable and you can see Jeff's experience shine as soon as he starts to work. My install required cutting and welding as the previous owner had put a custom made exhaust that made "stock" mounting not a possibility. Jeff was not fazed and got the job done, while I stood there watching in less than an hour. read more

Been here before and had flowmaster installed on my gmc 1500 nice work, reasonable in price! Was so excited to leave just to hear that purr. Recommend buying here, and will return to get another flowmaster installed on my f350 read more

The Holidays are busy enough but add to the chaos the need for a new catalytic converter to pass the required smog test for DMV registration and pressure builds. Jeff got my installation done faster than predicted on my break. I passed my smog test but CARB rejected my converter, asserting it was not a proper model for my vehicle. I immediately returned to Championship Muffler and Jeff confirmed his error, placed an order for the proper converter had my vehicle ready first thing the next day when CARB accepted my Passing but the proper part number. Even with an understandable error and return, replacement of my faulty catalytic converter was less hassle than writing this review. Championship Muffler is my "go to" shop. read more

Jeff is super knowledgeable I was having some issues with my Toyota Tacoma thinking that it was the Cadillac converter so I had him cut the pipe behind the cat to look to see if that was the issue and it wasn't! The $75 you charge me to do this and weld it back on was well worth it verses the headaches and pains I'm getting ripped off and buying something I didn't need too read more

My car was making a noise, I believed it was the muffle. They said they would check and in about 15-20 minutes they had fixed the problem. The gentleman who helped me (probably the owner) did not charge me a penny, I insisted but said it was nothing. This had never happened to me before, so grateful, I can at least write him a good review for fast, friendly and overall great service. read more

Great experience here, need more shops like this. I called ahead asking if I could stop by to check my car for an exhaust leak. Jeff gave me a quote for my car weeks ago and as I was about to go in and get my muffler deleted he then tells me he won't do it for me anymore. Unreliable and uninformed. Thankyou for the great service Jeff! I'll be going right down the road to your competitor since your the only muffler shop in town who won't take a muffler off. read more

My daughter had her catalytic converter stolen from her Honda CVR. All shops that work with our insurance provider wouldn't be able to fix the car for MONTHS. I was able to work with the insurance company and took the CRV to Championship Muffler. Jeff was awesome! He gave me a quote and had everything ready for pickup the very next day. There were a few snags but they were 100% on my part and my insurance company. I am so grateful for Jeff's patience with us. I definitely recommend Championship Muffler! read more

It's rare nowadays to find someone who does great work and great pricing. After contacting several shops that gave some random astronomical estimate for a job that didn't take very long, I decided to go to Jeff after seeing all the positive feedback. I had a couple of flanges welded onto a threaded bung. Not only did Jeff manage to do the job very quickly, he has the best price out of all the other places I contacted. When I received my parts back, you can clearly tell from his work that he's highly experienced in his trade. I highly recommend this place to everyone, his business is worth every penny. read more

Great place, very good work ethic, but be forewarned!!: they do not take off mufflers. Someone else mentioned this, and I just went to this shop recently and was told the same by the owner. All is well in the end, they still did a great job doing what I asked, but just know that they arent the shop for deleting mufflers/resonators etc. read more

Jeff is a Old School stand up guy. His work is top notch and he gives great advice and guidance especially on classic cars

Wonderful, competent, quick and honest describe my experience today at Championship Muffler. After receiving the bad news from the local Toyota dealer of the need to replace my entire muffler and catalytic converter plus gaskets I thought I'd get a second opinion. Am I glad I did. In less than two hours Jeff not only fixed the problem but saved our family over $2000 dollars in the process. You're a life saver Jeff. Mark & Victoria Irmler read more

Jeff did a great and fast job switching out my flowmasters to a flowmasters super 10. Quick and a great price with no BS.

I first took my car to the dealership they quoted me $780 to fix a horrible rattle I had from hitting something. Came to Jeff and he showed me what had happened and was able to cut off the part that was messed up and causing the rattle and weld back a new piece all for $70!!!! Saved $710 by coming to Jeff! He even gave me the piece he took off. I was only here for maybe 30min. Thanks again Jeff. read more
