Especially larger ones that require a sizable financial outlay. I expect the work to be done PERFECTLY (soup to nuts) and in a timely matter. Fred and crew did NOT disappoint with the security bars installed at our condo. Everything was done perfectly. Reliable and quality skilled labor is becoming increasingly hard to find and I like to do things right the FIRST time around. Fred takes pride in his work and gets things done RIGHT. I would HIGHLY recommend Boston Iron Works for any and all work iron related

Where do I begin, I would like to think my husband and I are pretty understanding and patient…read more However, our experience was less than most. First we went to show room, picked out our stove. We ordered a Red Vermont Casting Stardance. Mind you we paid $800 more for red. Not problem. We were given an install date in which we were simultaneously trying to coordinate propane install. Then our date change, no big deal. Then the install date changed again. It was now scheduled for Columbus day. Which I had my doubts. I purposely had my husband call the week prior to be sure they were still coming on a holiday day to install the stove. Oh yes they told us, we will be there. So we told propane guy it was a go. Welp Friday afternoon we get a call..... guess what? They aren't coming on Monday. We ONCE again tried to remain patient and we got yet another install date. Very deflating!. But wait, there's more..... they actually arrived on our 4th install date. Stove comes off the truck and its BLACK not RED!!! How disappointing!! So, at this point I want to tell this place to go screw. But, I was once again convinced that they would try to make it right and comp the Red. So another month later, after red was rushed and we were told we were a priority they finally showed up with a Red stove to install. Please take your time, look at the pictures of my ceiling! I want you to get a good look at what $7,000 dollars gets you with an install. I dont want these people anywhere near my house again. We had a horrible experience.

Water leaked through the floor all the way down to my main floor. I went up to the attic to inspect where the water was coming from. Turns out one of the pcp pipes came apart from my central air system In the attic. There was no issue with the piping during inspection just a few days before. I even went up and inspected the attic myself. And no way it just came apart on its own being professionally installed. My guess is that somebody stepped on it or kicked it on accident and didn't notice it was apart. Either way, the company left damage within the home which will cost us to repair. Alongside the fact that my son has asthma and a mold allergy. That being said another mold remediation company will need to come out to ensure the leak hasn't caused any mold growth. Ive been calling the company for two weeks every day been giving me the run around saying the owner greg isn't in the office today and to call back on a different day. They took down my number and email multiple times and stated that he would reach out. Now that they've run out of excuses, the office manager states to "respectfully stop calling the office. This is between you and Greg. Greg sent you an email". With no email in sight and ZERO communication from the company owner, it's become very evident we're being blown off. They claim in their website to be fully insured but apparently don't care enough to use it to fix their wrong. With all of that being said, do hire them if you want to hire another remediation company along with having holes in your ceilings repaired.
