They handled a masonry repair for us previously, and this spring they leveled and reseeded our lawn. The lawn came in beautifully, and they made sure we knew exactly how to care for it for the best results. They were on time, professional, and very easy to work with. Highly recommend this company.

We hired Gerrior Masonry for a complete yard renovation, over $100,000 for the full project…read moreincluding new lawn installation. Within weeks of completion, the lawn was failing across the entire yard. Large dead and bare patches everywhere, as shown in the photos. The lawn is watered by a professionally installed irrigation system that runs on schedule and works perfectly, so this is not a watering issue. This is a problem with the installation itself. When we asked Gerrior to correct their work, they refused to do it under warranty and said they would only fix it if we paid again for time and materials. We paid six figures for a lawn that died in weeks, and the company will not stand behind its own work. As of today, nothing has been repaired. I will update this review if Gerrior makes this right.

We wanted to have a patio built and had a very clear idea of what we wanted. I was able to provide the layout to Scott and he got his team to work. They finished the patio pretty quick. They installed a french drain, some shrubbery around our properly and did the patio in less than a week (2 days of which were raining and they could not do work). They were incredibly detailed and precise. Scott was straightforward with the pricing and what work was going to be done. We have them working on our lawn as well. I would highly recommend McLeod Landscaping for your outdoor living needs!

Crugnale was the second least expensive quote we got, but seemed to be the most professional and had the best customer service. When we first talked about the job with Crugnale they were very friendly and outlined different options. They did not push us to do something more expensive, but gave the cost of each option and a description of the pros and cons of those options. This was the key point that made us choose them: they seemed like they wanted to help us get the lawn we wanted giving us all the options instead of like they wanted to just get as much money from us as possible. They did the work very quickly. We had many questions along the way about our new grass and Mike and Chris were always very helpful and responsive. They even came by to check on how the grass looked to give us feedback on the maintenance. If I had another landscaping project, I would definitely use them again and would not hesitate to recommend them for work. I'll try to upload pictures of before and after shots.

He listened to my needs and concerns, and his guys did a great job. Other companies came to do bids and tried to take advantage of me - thinking I was an easy target (youngish woman homeowner in an expensive house). Steven did not. A large portion of my yard in Somerville has been all dirt for a year and I was hoping to finally have a lawn this summer. Steves crew came by on Friday at 8:45am to get the job done. I was so happy that they came earlier than scheduled!! They were prepared and curteous and ready to work! because it gave me the rest of the day to take care of other things I needed to do. Steves crew prepped my soil and then began the hydroseeding process. They did a very thorough job and completely covered the lawn without missing any spots. They even sprayed a little extra hydroseed for me on some yellow spots and other small parts that needed some recovery at no extra fee. The price was extremely reasonable and very fair. The work was through, detailed, and they stopped to ask in between seeding to see if I was happy with their work and if there was anything else. I felt like their only customer because the attention and service was so amazing! I'm looking forward to a beautiful and lush lawn and will update my review when it grows:) Thanks so much for the amazing hydroseed and service. I will be hiring you again soon!!
