When I touched it I could tell it was soft and frustration set in as I knew that had to be water damage. I searched for a company to come out and take a look and came across 911 Restoration. I gave them a call and Eli came out that same day to take a look. A quick check with a meter confirmed my fears that there was moisture in several areas of my bathroom behind the wall and under the floor. Eli was very helpful in explaining the process and staying in communication with me while I waited for a decision from the insurance company. He helped me through the entire process and even when the claim was denied by insurance due to it being a "slow leak" Eli did his best to help me get the work done at the lowest cost possible since it was coming out of my pocket. Through the entire process Eli's been in contact with me letting me know where we were and what the next steps were from the demolition process to the new drywall being installed, flooring and tiling done and more. The work was great and despite the pain of paying for it all out of pocket the bathroom looks great and my wife and I are very happy with the end results. I am writing this review to warn others about my extremely troubling experience with 911 Restoration of Bakersfield. If you're considering using them--especially through your insurance--please think twice. I hired them (through a referral from Farmers Insurance) after a water-related incident at my home in December 2024. What followed was a complete nightmare of negligence, poor communication, property damage, and what I believe to be highly unethical behavior. Negligent Work Caused More Damage: Their team failed to properly cap a hot water line under my dishwasher during remediation, which led to additional, serious water damage throughout my kitchen. Rather than own up to their mistake, the company--through a rep named Denia--denied responsibility and tried to shift blame to another contractor. Encouraged Me to Mislead My Insurance Company: Denia directly instructed me to have a plumber falsify a service date and label the work as "leak detection" so I could open a second insurance claim. She also claimed to have spoken with Farmers Insurance and said the second claim would be approved. I refused to follow through with this dishonest plan, but I did file the second claim based on her suggestion--which caused even more confusion and stress. Mishandled My Property: They damaged a $400 baby stroller during storage and failed to return a small but valuable cabinet item ($50). Denia never gave me a full inventory of my packed belongings and avoided accountability for the missing and damaged items. No Accountability, No Resolution: To this day, they have not taken any steps to fix the damage they caused, reimburse the lost or broken items, or even provide an honest explanation. Their rep continually dodged responsibility and refused to communicate transparently. My Advice: RUN. Between their shoddy work, misleading guidance, and unprofessional behavior, this company has caused me more stress and financial loss than the original water leak ever did. Save yourself the time, money, and heartbreak. Avoid 911 Restoration of Bakersfield at all costs.

We really liked the work they did installing a solid patio cover at the neighbors house and we were in the market for a patio cover ourselves so we decided to use Perfect Home Bakersfield. Their salesman, Alex, came out and quoted us for the patio cover and we placed the order. After the initial quote I called to make a few changes. I called multiple times asking to get an updated quote on the price and I was never given one. At one point, the receptionist knew I needed to talk with the manager, Manuel, about my question and she tried to transfer me to him three times, but he refused to speak with me. On the day of install the two-man crew showed up on time and completed the install in one day. Phew! In the hot Bakersfield summer we were so happy to have shade and the patio looks great! But they left a mess. They blew small bits of trash, nails, screws, and aluminum shavings into our lawn and flowerbeds. We have small children whom they met that morning. My kids like to go barefoot in the backyard and they couldn't! They also forgot to finish the install of the ceiling fans; the decorative cover that sits flush with the ceiling was left hanging on the fan motor. When I called to pay and finally find out the changes made to my estimate the numbers seemed off. After further discussion, I was told that the cost of the rain gutters had been left off the original estimate. I called the salesman and the front office at least 3 times each asking for more information on my quote and I was given the runaround every time I called. They all just passed the buck to the manager who refused to speak with me. It wasn't until my patio was installed that they finally spoke with me about the price again and raised it by $600! They were the lowest price in town for a patio cover, but I was quite disappointed in their service. Buyer beware.
