This a tiny gem in the Charlotte airport. Not saying what terminal or gate, you're going to have to find it yourself ;) Only about 15 seats and super busy at lunchtime, so make sure you have wait time available in your schedule. There's a small bar with full liquor, a decent wine selection and beer as well. The menu is limited but the quality is high. It's cute and a step away from the usual airport stuff a like a street cafe in your local town. Service was terrific both of our visits.

Had a layover so chose this cafe . Was hoping to have breakfast but I missed the slot so I ordered lunch and a cocktail. I can't recall the drink I ordered but it was very good, I also ordered the Grilled Chicken BLT with a side of fruits and it came with house fries. The fries were a bit stale and weren't needed with my meal. Overall the meal was good. Atmosphere was okay for the time being and the attendant was nice & efficient.

The extremely rude waitress in case you visit here

It doesn't matter how good the food or drinks are SAID to be when the waitress has the worst possible attitude and customer service!! She's extremely rude and disrespectful...I don't even get to ask for the menu before she rudely yelled this is a real restaurant and just a place for you to look at the tv. The more people who turned to look at her loud rudeness the more disrespectful and cocky she got!!!! VERY SAD REPRESENTATION

My husband and I stopped here in the Charlotte Airport for a quick bite to eat. We split a chicken pesto flatbread pizza that was decent for airport food. It sounded like we were lucky we could order what we wanted from the menu due to ingredient shortage and even a shortage in kitchen staff. It held us over until our next meal. Expect typical airport food and alcohol prices here.

Had some time during my layover so stopped by for some lunch! It was a cute little place. The vibe was nice and the staff was really friendly. It's a bit small but I loved the selections on the menu and throughly enjoyed a quick stop before my next flight.

Right across from Gate C8, I wanted to order food but boarding for my flight started earlier than predicted. I'm a big fan of Stella Artois, but didn't expect that the restaurant would have a nice offering of vegetarian friendly options. Going to stop in again on my way thru Charlotte. For now I'm giving it 5 stars based on an overall impression and because this place proves once again that Stella Artois is a class brand.

It's actually the Chalice Cafe, not "Stella's Cafe" but we'll let that go. If you've seen a Stella Artois commercial and heard the line "It's not a glass, it's a chalice" then you'll know what I mean. This little spot is definitely out of place in the airport. A cheese plate with four different kinds of cheese with marcona almonds? A greek wedge with smoked bacon and feta on iceberg? And that sliced steak with blue cheese and dijon aioli? How did that land in the C concourse? I stopped in for a Stella and the mozarella caprese, which was excellent. Not cheap but very good and way classier than a lot of the usual airport food. If you have a layover and you're looking for decent, this is your spot. [Review 10657 overall, 425 of 2019.]

I came here during a long layover last December and had an enjoyable experience. When my flight got changed this December and I had a long layover, I hoped this place was open for me to visit again. I was happy to find that not only it was open but it was near my gate. It still had the same great service and drink/meal options as last year (with some Covid modifications). Seating is spaced out for social distancing and the food and drinks come in plastic containers. There are multiple outlets and USB ports for charging so you can be on your phone with no concerns while enjoying your beer. My food was pretty good and my food last year (fresh eggs with fruit) was great. It's a cute, comfortable spot to hang out and possibly have a good conversation, if you're so inclined.

Great service and food! Less crowded than other places, making it an enjoyable experience.

A lot of poor reviews are reflecting service. I visited today and had the BEST breakfast flatbread and great attentive service. I hate the ratings have been reflective from previous service, but it was well worth it. (I also never do reviews, felt this deserved it).

Have you just time traveled, on a flight from the west coast to the east? Welcome to the future. This very chic cafe is it. I was feeling absolutely miserable after taking a red eye flight at midnight, losing two hours, sleeping for one hour on the flight and another hour on the floor of the airport. Then we took a walk and found this gem. It really helped! When we showed up there was a lone traveler in the cafe. Within 15 minutes every seat was full. "Is there a wait list" one wannabe diner inquired? "No, we don't have a wait list, it's just what you can find when you can find it," Stella politely said, knowing that her concerns were the butts currently in seats, not letting outside noise intrude on our oasis of good vibes. The food was okay and service excellent and the vibes were the toppest. Did I mention they have beer? Get in on the ground floor, beer cafes are the future.

For entrees, we ordered the lamb shank, which was juicy, tender, and absolutely amazing. The adana kabab was top notch with incredible flavor. The chicken shawarma and chicken kabab could have been a bit more tender, but still enjoyable overall. They also have a large selection of desserts on the menu, so definitely save some room if you can. Overall, we had a great experience at La Shish Kabob -- warm hospitality, big portions, and flavorful food. Would definitely go back!

Monday night, half price wine by the glass or bottle, all of them on the list! Love when they do that without limitations. So we went with a glass of champagne! Because why not when it's half price! Service was excellent , and the food just awesome . So fresh and delicious. The menu here is so nice and varied with so many options. We started with the prosciutto carpaccio, paper thin prosciutto with olive oil, and fresh Parmesan and fresh greens, white balsamic and hazelnut. This was amazing, just yummy. The roasted mushrooms, come on a sliced yogurt, with verde hummus, and sumac onions. Again so flavorful and so many different things going on in this dish. Highly recommend this. The short rib bolognese. A fabulous small plate, but plenty for two . This sauce was so good with the fresh grilled bread they serve. The pasta was perfectly cooked, spinach flavored. Truffle ricotta, and crispy prosciutto on top, nice pieces of short rib too. This was an excellent dish. We were truly full so had to pass on dessert but we did get a after dinner espresso martini, called the Salud! A Spanish table toast, peppermint infused tequila, espresso, licor 43, coffee liquor and creme de cacao. Served frozen, this tasted like an Andes mint. Perfect after dinner drink. We started with the Prosciutto carpaccio and the Whipped Ricotta appetizers to share. Both of those were pretty good and the bread that came along with it was good too. It was grilled and nice and crispy. For drinks, one of my friends ordered the rosé wine flight, I ordered their house red wine, and my other friend ordered wine as well. The wine selection was good so we are pleased with that. It was our main entrées that we ordered that we were not pleased with. For example, I ordered the steak skewer, which I understood would be a small plate, but when it came out to find that it was just one skewer was a little bit misleading, and I wish that I had ordered something else because that was not enough for my dinner. Our server didn't come back to check on us after our food arrived so I wasn't even able to add any more small plates. In addition, my friend did not enjoy her pasta at all, and I tried to bite, and it was not good. Only my friend who ordered the Bolognese pasta was pleased with her dinner choice. Due to our server not coming back to our table to check on us and also didn't really give us suggestions of what to order or how to order I wasn't very pleased with our experience. I don't know if I would come back because honestly, the meal was pretty mid for how expensive it was priced. The inside of the restaurant is cute and the patio as well but the food is mid and expensive for the service to be so poor.
