Amazing, simple, delicious. I recommend the traditional breakfast w/sausage (Passionfruit juice on…read morethe side). Service was prompt, presentation was excellent, and I really like the simple decorations like the flower centerpiece shown. ¡Riquisima! Recomiendo la desayuno traditional con salchicha y jugo de maracuyá. La personal son muy amables también. Me encanta las flores pequeñas en todos las mesas.

I had work in the service industry for so many years, one of the many reasons why I gave it so many tries but unfortunately I won't be returning. I waited 40 minutes for my food, ordered two plates. I understand some plates cooking times can be longer than others but nothing ever came. One of them was just a simple bean tostada. The time before this I came at 9:20 pm, while it says on google that their hours of operation is until 10:00 pm. The server told me they were closing down and they only had Baleadas so I left to the taco spot next door just to see her turn the sign back on and let another table walked in. It's honestly so disappointing because it's difficult to find Honduran restaurants nearby, and I met the owner's daughter a couple of times and she's truly a sweetheart with a different vision for the restaurant. But at this point I rather make the drive to another place.

For those who are uninitiated it is a cross between Peruvian and Mexican. This is the first Honduran restaurant that I have seen in the Dallas area. It means that some of the foods are similar but the dishes are prepared differently. For example, the wife got enchiladas that seemed to have a hard taco shell on the bottom, and had fresh tomato and a boiled egg on top. It was covered in red sauce and a very sharp shredded cheese which I am guessing is goat cheese. The restaurant is modest but clean. The restrooms were clean. We went for lunch on a Saturday and after we sat down there was a pretty good crowd that followed us. I got an order of papusus--3 to an order--for $6.99. it came with rice and beans, both of which had good flavor. Good deal. I liked everything a lot. The papusus were flavorful and did not need sour cream or any other condiment. I think I like Peruvian a bit better and would return to El Salvador or Santa Rosa. Still, this was a good experience and I am not sorry that we tried it. The prices are extremely reasonable and the food is homemade. My main reason for 3.5 stars is the no frills atmosphere and plasticware.
