Set menu ( see photos) came with ALOT of food. Included free soft drink( no other options for non pop) and little ice cream dessert in white Styrofoam cups vanilla, chocolate, strawberry. Little tapas style fries foods ( gyoza 2, shrimp tempura 2, chicken wings 2, ribs with little bit of fries) 3 separate corn in butter little tin. The banchan kimchi and pickled radish carrot I liked. Also came with a small miso soup and rice. Meats chicken , beef , and short ribs. My only negative comment was we got 2 plates of chicken scrapy pieces. Many little pieces not a thigh as advertised hard to cook fall through the grill. Short ribs excellent, beef excellent marinated well. Sushi can't comment didn't eat it ( not my order) Interior looked clean not very noticeable for smells. Smell check not too bad going home the grill has ventilation holes around the grill. Very slight smell on clothes wouldn't notice unless looking for it. Service was good they took empty plates dishes regularly and had a grill change once. We were told that it was 1 hour limit. Took a minute to get all our dishes/ plates to the table as there was many small items. Went at 4pm at opening and at that point wasn't full but definitely had a quite a few tables come in. **Service charge was added to our bill. Not sure if that was advised. We had a table of 3 people. Something to make a note of if you go. Overall would recommend and come again for the great value set meal!

January 1, 2025 -After a very nice day at the casino with my old lady we wanted to get something to eat before heading home. I decided to drive through the Eglinton Town Centre complex to see if there was anything. My mom noticed Chako and she wanted to go there. We used to go to the one at Midland and McNicoll many years ago. We were actually really surprised to see that one was so close to home. They currently have 3 different menus to choose from (special, classic & premium). Prices from $28.99-$51.99. We got the special menu for $28.99 less items to choose from, but it 100% enough for us. I ordered everything off the menu. My mom ate as much as she could and was full, no second round. I also ate my fill. Service was very good, staff were all polite. The restaurant is huge lots of space. It was quite nice inside.

Stumbled upon this restaurant when my family tried to walk into the neighbouring restaurant East Side Mario's and it was full and wait listed. Walked over and saw the Chako signage on the neighbouring building and went in. They told me it was their second day of opening and the hostess explained to me the two different menus. The classic and the premium. The premium has more higher quality meats for the grill and sashimi's. Both menus are all you can eat; but don't waste as they will charge you for wasted raw and cooked foods if you over order. We were happy with the restaurant as there was no wait and not many tables occupied as not many people knew the existence of this restaurant yet! This is their second location in Scarborough so don't mistaken this with their Midland Ave location.

Amazing service from Kandy and the service manager. Offered us the 20$ menu and recommended a perfect cream soda from Korea must try. Definitely coming back again!!!

Really great ayce bbq! Its a new location so the interior is gorgeous, modern, and clean. The service was a little slow and it seemed like the servers were hard to reach at times. But the menu had lots to choose from and the food was fresh. I like the boneless ribs and the squid the best

Their entree Bab Spicy sauce chicken is C$37.95 or $28, that's highway robbery for fried chicken to me. Worse if it's not out of this world good. It's rather unsettling. The banchans: cucumber, bean sprouts, fish cake and kimchi. The kimchi is crunchy and fresh. The Bab chicken with the spicy sauce is crispy and sauce is good, meat was tender too. Some fully intact tendon that looked like a worm coming out of the meat. I am done eating the chicken. The japchae comes with bulgogi beef. Potato noddles are hard to chew down. The tteokbokki is okay, rice cakes a bit too soft for me. Sauce isn't bad, has good heat to it. Comes with two dumplings. The veggie kimbap is mostly rice, quite weak for $10 for a roll. The round metal chopsticks are rather challenging. I prefer the metal flatter ones or wood. Staff are attentive. Food comes out quickly,

It's the food that was just meh. Stopped by for lunch and got: - Korean Pancakes: Prepackaged, it still was pretty good (i.e., didn't just taste reheated). The dipping sauce accentuated the sweetness of the pancakes. - Bulgogi Bibimbap: Bulgogi was really bland and a tad dry, so had to put a lot of gochujang on the bibimbap. - Bulgogi Japchae: Agaìn, band and dry bulgogi. The japchae was good - soft and sweet. Also, generous serving that is shareable. - Mango Banana Smoothie: A bit lumpy, and more mango than banana. But great for a hot summer day. Maybe it's the bakery stuff we should have tried, because everyone is raving about this place. The meals were just ok.

A medium-sized side order of kimchi 2. Korean pancake 3. Bulgogi bibimbap 4. Bulgogi japchae 5. Bagel with bacon, egg, lettuce, and tomato And of course, 6. A small matcha latte. I thought that the medium was a pretty good portion of kimchi. Probably enough for 3-4 people to share it as a side dish. The korean pancake was very yummy, especially when paired with the dipping sauce. I liked that both the bibimbap and japchae had a good amount of veggies. I found the bulgogi just a tiny bit dry. The bagel was panini pressed which was nice but it did toast up the lettuce which wilted it. The rest of the toppings were really good. The one thing I really didn't care for was the matcha latte. It was so sweet I didn't think I'd be able to finish it. The other thing is that it hardly tasted of matcha. The latte itself was pretty much white. That kind of told me that it wasn't mixed well and just didn't have any matcha in it. I'd skip this on my next UberEats order.

I was starting to get really hangry and irritated after walking around the city all day. We started with Korean beer and shots of Jinro Is Back Soyu. It was a good idea. Overall the food was quite good. I recommend everyone to check this restaurant out for themselves. The Korean pancake with seafood and vegetables was huge and much crispier than the one I've tried before. My beef tartare bibimbap was perfect. Just thinking about it makes me want to have it right now. The sizzling hot plate with pork and squid also looked very impressive. It must have been delicious as well, because one of my companions ate the whole thing with no problem. The spicy shredded beef brisket stew/soup 'Yukgaejang' was something which i wouldn't survive, but my man finished everything to the last drop. Hence we entered Jin Dai Lae. Good decision (yes, I am patting my back). Entree pricing was $3 to $4 lower than Markham/Richmond Hill. Portion was so big that you would be full, and might have to doggy bag. Most importantly, food tasted good. Short ribs stew had many pieces of beef. Squids hot plate was saucy. It wasn't too spicy, so it was good for me (menu didn't have a chilli sign either). For people who like it hot, you can ask for some chilli sauce.

Due to the weather, I decided to try: 1) Mool Naang Myun (buckwheat cold noodles with mixed veggie, beef and boiled egg in cold both) 2) Dolsot Bibimbap - Assorted veggie beef and egg on steamed rice in hot bowl 3) Seafood pancake I really enjoyed the cold noodles as it was quite authentic, the cold broth was really refreshing and came with yellow mustard sauce to be added in the broth. Its a must try in the summer months as its a seasonal item. The seafood pancake was also fantastic. In the pancakes, they gave generous amounts of seafood (cuttlefish, shrimp etc.) and was not over-fried. It had 10 pancake slices, which is perfect for group sizes of 3 to 4. They also serve Korean side dishes that can be refilled! I also enjoyed the service at this restaurant. Originally we were seated in a two two-seated table. However, when they noticed the food we order did not fit the table, they switched us to a four-seated table instead, allowing us to enjoy our meal! Overall, if you are in Stouffville, and craving Korean food, this spot is a must-try.

No one else was there that day except the front person helping us and people in the kitchen, no guests. He was friendly and did a little small talk, and said that they included an extra gochujang sauce for us to try (you get only one per bibimbap, but we did like dipping the kimbap in the soy sauce = not included). They make the soy sauce on site. We got Japchae, two types of bibimbap (one per person), and some kimbap for the kid. They are all tasty but I prefer my bibimbap with a little more flavour. This one, I only tasted that flavour when I added the gochujang sauce, but in other bibimbaps I like, the flavour is cooked into the toppings. The Japchae is good and I like that it doesn't taste strongly of garlic. It has wood ear mushroom and carrot and sesame. The kimbap was a bit more on the Bland side as well. We have some leftovers for lunch tomorrow. 9 items on menu and each meal is about $17-19 with tofu an extra $3 and bulgogi an extra $4. Friendly service though!
