I was not there for a contagious reason. He came in to the exam room and kept his body pressed against the door to stay as far away from me as he could, as though afraid of me. He never looked at me. Never in ntroduced himself. I told him what my eye doctor usually prescribes for a repeating stye problem. He told me all I need was a warm compress. I had to press him for an antibiotic eye gel and anti-inflammatory drops. He seemed to understand (resentfully). He walked out of the room without another word after I confirmed with him that he would send a script for both to pharmacy. When I left the room, he was relaxed, sitting back in an office chair with his feet up on a desk. I went to my pharmacy. Only the gel was script was sent. Pharmacist called CityMD. He only put in script for gel. Dr. Testa lied to me. So if you want a doctor who won't look at you, doesn't introduce himself, is patronizing & dismissive and lies to get rid of you, and then emails the invoice by the next day the head over to CityMD. Ask to see Dr. Tesla. Oh, hen when you call to speak to the medical support team with a question, you will get a live person who takes your information & speaks to the team for you. She does call you back with a rote answer that does not resolve the problem. But she will tell you,"I am sorry. You can always go back to the office and see the doctor again." After that experience? No thanks. There are other urgent care practices in Bay Ridge.

This is the only Urgent Care I've ever been to and others really need to take notes. It's super clean, wait time is super short maybe like 3 people max ahead of you (today i only had 1 person before me, a child) , the Dr takes their time with you giving you everything he thinks will improve your health and never rushes through your time. No appointment is needed, insurance covers your visit and they're super friendly and kind from the second you walk in. Today I woke up No voice, throat on fire coughing out green slime. I got a IV boost with vitamins (saline IV is covered (depending on your insurance of cours) and the boost is a tiny fee less then your lunch !! I also got a B12 boost added and for the throat he sprayed Decadron which OMGGGG takes the throat pain away in 15 min and lasts 2 days (where has it been all my lifeeee) I did Testing for everything Flu, Strep, Covid Had my lungs checked, blood pressure. Best Experience Everrrrrr I'm soooo happy we have that kind d of place in our neighborhood it's gd sent I came home feeling 70% better !!! Thank you again for taking such great care of me. I came in on a Thursday afternoon for the annual drug screening that my nursing school requires. I…read morewas really worried about the wait time because my grandmother was waiting in the car and I really wanted to be in and out in a jiffy. Thankfully, I was treated kindly and professionally and was ready to leave within 25 minutes. When I walked in, there was no receptionist at the front desk. A sign at the desk prompted me to "sign in" using the iPad across the desk. Even though I am in my 20's, I struggled worse than an uneducated baboon would have with the device. You need to scan your ID, scan your medical insurance card and fill out a bunch of information on the iPad. I took off a star because of the confusion and as I waited, I saw older generations struggle with the sign in process as well! I understand that inputting our information via the iPad can save time and paper, but the staff should look into making the sign-in process more user friendly! After the sign in process, one of the workers made sure my paperwork was complete and then escorted me into another room. I wish I got her name, but she has curly hair and a bright smile! She warned me to make sure that my bladder was full because their policy is that failure to provide enough urine will lead to an additional hour wait (there is a water fountain right outside, near the elevators if you need it). I assured her that I was ready and after I finished my business, she had me fill out a few forms, gave me a receipt and I was out! My results were also sent to me via email during the next day. Quick and efficient!

The receptionist was super friendly and knew her stuff. PA and Dr both lovely, smart, thorough women. I do wish my Covid results came back on the day they were expected but I'm sure labs are overwhelmed by the insane amount of testing being done everywhere. All in all, this is my new Go-to for Urgent Care. CityMD told me that I had to wait in lines of up to 6 hrs, even though I had a temp of 103.1 and was legit sick. Not the case here. Thanks for understanding that validly sick people need care urgently.

**BEWARE** Went last…read moremonth with my daughter since she had a bump on her hand that was bothering her, the woman took maybe 30 seconds and first said it was a bakers cyst. She left the room maybe 10 minutes later (longest part of the visit) she came back and said it was a ganglion cyst. Not to worry about it, that it would go away on its own and to try warm compress to sooth the pain. So we try the warm compress and it did nothing at all. We end up going to an orthopedic surgeon and it turns out it was a tumor. Moral of story, avoid this place! Being rushed and giving a false diagnose without even really trying to touch it or examine it isn't acceptable.

A woman came in but the rest of the staff got here around 8:15am - 8:20am. This would have not be such a bad thing if people didn't start coming in already and there was no one to help the clients (at least 8 people was here by the time they opened). I was able to fill out my information in the kiosk. I'm not a fan of it allowing you to set an appointment because if you schedule it for 9:30am and it's 8am it will say I You're too early for the appointment. Although I'm a walk in patient not sure why I must need an appointment. It is now 8:27am and I'm sitting in the room waiting on someone to test me for the rapid Covid test. Okay it's not 8:33am and the test was taken (no vitals) I was told to wait in the room and they would give me the test results right away which is pretty cool . This location is new and very clean, staff seems pretty nice. I got my results and letter by 8:45 so hopefully I can make it to work for 9:30am. I gave them a 5 star because of the quickness once I got processed in but they get a 4.5 for the pre processing and lack of staff when they opened at 8am. I will definitely be back again but it seems to be best to come in early in the AM.

The facility was empty when I got there and I was helped right away. I was pleased to find out that my base fee included a rapid flu and COVID test. Marzia took me right back to the exam room after I was registered and I waited long enough for Menucha that my COVID and flu tests were ready. I would have no problem with using this urgent care again were I to need it. I am a retired RN so I feel that I know if the care in an urgent care facility is good and I received very good care.
