Spotless! Friendly caring efficient staff. Great for minor problems or vaccinations.

Very quick meeting with a nurse practitioner or doctor. They have access to lab tests. If they can not resolve your issue, then will honestly refer you to a doctor. read more

Dangerously negligent. They prescribed me the ONE medication I'm allergic to. Telling them about this allergy was one of the only things I was able to say at my under-5-min rushed appointment. Do not recommend. read more

Best place I have been tested at so far. This place was magnificent- I have had other Covid tests that are uncomfortable and annoying but when Rebecca saw me here it was quite delightful - now who can say that about a Covid test right? She was extremely caring and soft handed. I ended up getting all 3 Covid-19 tests they offer. Within 2days I called back for results and they were emailed to me. Everyone in the staff there was very attentive. The location isn't crowded - as you get to be on a virtual line so no need to stand outside waiting for hours. Spot was clean and overall cared for. (Only thing you wait a few mins in the waiting area with others as the a room becomes available for your turn so please still practice Covid precautions, wear your mask!) read more

Seen quickly and the staff were incredible. Space is clean and they have X-ray on site!

I've been here a few times -- once for a covid test, and once for x-rays-- I also hit their Avenue J testing location, which looks like it's since closed. I'm surprised to see the dicey reviews, since my experiences were uniformly great -- it seems they've shuttered the online reservation system, maybe it's not needed given the covid slowdown, but when I used the reservation system there was barely any wait time to be seen. My covid test results were given back were SUPER fast, and when you're working on a tight timeline, that's a genuine game changer. As for my x-rays, I had a very bad sprain mid-pandemic, and my podiatrist was able to review the images once I provided her with the documents from Centers - they look like bones to me but she said they were excellent visuals and were what she needed for diagnostics. No complaints here! read more

I visited this location 12.18 at 11:30am. The process is you register via the website on a virtual line. You receive a text that your next and usually you get tested right away. With this new variant going around in NYC the lines for Covid test are massive so i didn't mind having to wait a bit. My issue with this location was the rude Asian woman behind the front desk. There were a lot of patients asking very normal questions and she would respond with obvious disdain. She was condescending and nasty, even talking to elderly patients with an attitude. It was such a contrast to the gentlemen helping right next to her, who was very patient and warm with every guest he dealt with. After receiving a text saying i was next in line i waited and am still waiting over 30 minutes before the rude employee screamed at everyone to wait outside. It's raining and cold in NYC, obviously people don't want to be in the waiting room during a pandemic, what's wrong with her?! I asked her how long it would be before i was seen. She couldn't find my name because she wasn't listening. She said i can't find you and asked if i registered. I said yes i did and i waited on the line. She then goes well clearly the line is different then registering. I had to keep my calm at this point because, clearly to whom?! You work here. Things aren't clear, obviously, otherwise people wouldn't be confused as to why they have to wait after they already waited. Makes no sense. When i went outside multiple people were already complaining to each other about their experience with her. I will be reaching out to management. Please stop hiring Individuals who clearly hate interacting with people to work in customer service positions. This ruined my experience at this location. It's the holidays, we are going through a world wide pandemic, nobody needs or should deal with a human so vile. read more

I'm currently at this location (12:38pm 12/18) waiting to be tested for Covid. The location is not bad and is very crowded due to the new variant that is running ramped. This is a stressful time and understandably frustrating for staff and patients. However the Asian woman at the front desk has a disgusting attitude and does not need to be dealing with people especially in this type of environment. She's soooo rude and nasty. I first noticed how she was talking to other clients. Her tone, her attitude, her responses, literally everything. She really made me very uncomfortable prior to having my own experience with her. She does not seem like she has the capacity to help anyone and she clearly needs to be seeking some type of medical attention herself because that attitude must be stemming from deeper. With that said management needs to have a serious conversation with her because that's not the energy that people should be met with at a medical facility. The guy next to her was under the same pressure and dealing with the exact same circumstances as her and he was able to be diligent, respectful, and helpful. Also had the ability to deal with irate patients in a professional manner. When you choose to work in these spaces, these types of experiences come with the territory (not to mention people were very calm and respectful, just a bit confused). It was not fully clear how things work and people were frustrated, cold, and potentially already sick. As the person that is getting paid to be there, there should be a certain level of empathy and understanding for that. read more

No wait, friendly and good service, got a call to follow up with results and how to care for my illness.

I went to this urgent care becauseI have had an upper respiratory infection for more than 40 days. I was not given any treatment. At first they offered a nebulizer, then said they couldn't. I was told to come back again in three days if I am not better. At which point I would pay another $100 copay to only maybe get treatment. I do not recommend. read more

The front desk receptionist who works here on Saturdays is the rudest person I have met. She consistently has the worst attitude and we have been here multiple times. Additionally, we called ahead to confirm that they were able to do blood tests. The person who answered the phone confirmed that yes, this place would be able to do the blood test. With this confirmation, we headed over to the center. After waiting almost an hour, it was finally my turn. However, then we were told that this urgent care facility actually doesn't do blood tests, even when we had confirmed it in advance, and turned us away. This place is super unorganized, slow and rude. I am never coming back here. What a waste of time and energy. read more

I definitely won't be back at this location. I forgot to mention that the lady (not sure if she's Russian or Latina) is very rude. Now that we have a new Centers Urgent Care (and soon another clinic) in the 11230 zip code, I suggest you avoid this one at all costs. read more

Update: management reached out to me actively and promptly. Resolved my issue with professional manner. Thank you for putting patients your first priority. Old review: EXTREMELY RUDE front desk. I would give this place a zero star if it was an option. I was asking whether their coronavirus test a molecular (nucleic acid/ PCR) or antigen test. The front desk lady kept saying she doesn't know and put ZERO effort in trying to find that out for me. When I asked if they bill for Igg or RT-PCR on the billing code, she literally said "I don't fucking know, we don't do billing, billing is a separate department". Word to word. So I asked if I can talk with an on-site physician or RN or PA, she straight up said no in an extreme unprofessional and rude manner. This place should fire that front desk lady. read more

The best place to get your PCR covid test, hands down!! I've called different clinics regarding result time and ONLY Centers Urgent Care is 2 to 3 days.. every where else was 3 to 5 days! This was extremely important for me as I was travelling to an international country and it was important that I needed my results within 48 hours and they were able to deliver which is amazing!! Of course it's not a guarantee.. Secondly, the receptionist was extremely sweet and understanding when I was testing and answered all my questions as I was nervous about my results coming in on time, even after I arrived to the international country and called, the same sweet receptionist was so helpful and reassuring. I definitely can't find a better place. This is definitely the spot to go to! Their a small clinic, so patience is important! Also note, I live in lower Manhattan and I made the trip to Midwood because this clinic is just that awesome! read more

I had a wonderful experience there. My son and I were greeted warmly and professionally by the front desk staff especially Nerita she helped us with all our needs. Great place to get the attention you need when in pain. Thank you. read more

We came here for a COVID test and they were quick & efficient. No wait. To me it is a hidden gem.

So quick and friendly! Hardly a line and I was in and out of there WITH my rapid test results. I'll def be going back!

Best urgent care facility I've ever been to. it's clean, organized, and all their equipment is brand new and high tech. I was seen extremely quickly and the doctor and staff where all kind and didn't make me feel uncomfortable about my situation. read more

Just told to go to my PCP or Emergency Room. So what are they going to charge my insurance for?

The crew was very friendly, but the operation was horrible no Doctor no Xray tech. The only thing that was acceptable was the Covid and Flu tests. Still don't feel well and don't have any diagnosis. read more

Firstly, they are open late hours which is extremely helpful! The staff (Angie and Star) and even the staff in the borough park location (I couldn't get their names) are super sweet and make the experience a pleasurable one. Really quick and efficient! Was happy i stumbled upon this place! read more

Got stitches removed here. Heard the care workers talking in the hallways about how they haven't done it before and to get someone who had. Well the person who did it, had no idea where anything was and didn't even sanitize my stitches and had to try several times to bandage the openings left behind. I ended up trying to help him keep the bandage down. I don't think I would recommend any urgent care in Brooklyn at this point. I really hope my wound doesn't get infected just because of urgent care not removing them properly. Definitely do not come here for anything other than a COVID test, which 99% of patients are here for. read more

We are disappointed that the Avenue J location advertises online and on phone hours that are incorrect, they close earlier than the time listed and they never tell you, you arrive and have to go home, they end early for xrays and tests, a 1/2 who knows how much earlier, they rejected by unknown 4minutes at 8:34 pm exactly a 9 yr old fractured child who had to go back with no xray or splinting at all and no visit. In addition, they once FORCED our child same one to go to the hospital by ambulance. At the hospital they issued a strep test and said he had strep and said it was ridiculous he came by ambulance, they need the room for someone else. They did not test him for strep at urgent care but because I said he had mild asthma they freaked out literally and had 6 people bullying us. The bill was 6,000 dollars for the ambulance too but we r low income. Our son spent hours at emergency room because of their fears for nothing. If you have any asthma be AWARE, even mild! (since long covid) In addition there are staff behind the desk who are haughty, one kept insisting my birthdate on my insurance is incorrect when it isn't and kept "threatening " the bill for a covid shot will come to me instead of being paid by insurance. I even called my insurance, they said it was ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

This facility seemed accommodating at first with parking for its patients but I was turned away even with 15 minutes left to closing. I rushed over with my mom who simply needed a piece of glass removed from her foot and as I explained this to the front desk, they told me to wait to see if I could be seen. She then returned to tell me that "we are unable to see you because there is already another patient who needs an x-ray, all three rooms are filled, and there's only 15 minutes left until we close". I was appalled, having worked in urgent cares myself and never turning away a patient even if they walk in 1 minute before closing. As an urgent care, I expect them to uphold the standard of seeing every patient that walks in, of course with the exception of a valid excuse to turn them away. However, being turned away simply because they did not want to stay later to work is insulting because as institution, staying later should be expected especially if there is an emergency. I rushed over there expecting the same kind of compassion I gave every single one of my patients that walked in a minute before closing but was turned away and left to figure out another solution as my mom's pain worsened. I truly hope that they reconsider their policy. If you happen to drop by, make sure it's the hours they want to work - so preferably never. read more
