When we moved here 8 months ago I was so lost after having been with my last stylist in San Diego for 9 years! I saw that Chad & Co had 5 stars and was right next door to my house. I called to make an appointment and was too impatient to wait a few days and boy did I pay for that! I ended up choosing a different salon that was able to see me the same day. First cut was fine and decided to trust them to take me from long to short (per my norm every other year). Long story short, I ended up with a horrible toupee on a shaved head looking cut! As soon as I returned home I placed a call to Chad & Co and took their first available appointment 3 days later. I spoke to Brittany over the phone who assured me she was comfortable with shorthair cuts and confident that she could fix my bad cut! Showed up for my cut and was seen right on time. Brittany greeted me at the desk already knowing who I was (I'll act like it wasn't the horrible bowl cut I had that gave me away!). She assessed the damage and explained her plan. Actually, she explained everything just before she did it, i.e. at the shampoo bowl she told me she was going to use the towel to wipe the cut hairs off my face that didn't come off with the blow dryer, she told me exactly how she was going to cut my hair, then style it, then finish it up etc. I had never felt more comfortable at a salon. The cut, absolutely perfect! I didn't have to shave my head since Brittany was able to work with the mess I had and made it look like it had a purpose. The salon: Loved it! Great music (Beatles radio on pandora!), good vibes, gorgeous lighting, comfortable seating, friendly staff, great products! I checked in on Yelp and received a free travel size product! That is such a great incentive to get me to try the products (which by the way, I am a fan of!) While waiting to check out, Chad took the time to come over and introduce himself to me and compliment my hair. I made sure he knew what Brittany had to start with and how she turned it around! Was smart this time around and actually planned ahead by booking my next appointment. I feel the need to mention that in all my life I have never made an appointment in advance (no more than 4 days!) This is a nIce salon wedged into a small shopping center in Centennial. I went in because of good reviews on Yelp & found the people pleasant & the haircut fine. My problem came at checkout when despite -their website saying haircuts were $35, I was charged $50, a significant increase. When I questioned the charge the receptionist told me different stylists charge different amounts. If this is their policy. fine, but to advertise one price & charge another is suspiciously like the bait -and switch techniques practiced on some used car lots. Customers should be told upfront :if the price is going to be different from that posted on the website. Otherwise, this place Is fine. Nice stylist & good haircut. read more

IF YOU PLAN ON GOING TO CHAD AND CO. MAKE SURE YOU ASK ABOUT HOW MUCH IT'S GOING TO COST BEFORE YOU GET STARTED!!!! On 12/19/22 I was online looking for a hair salon with walk-in service. I found Chad and Co. I checked out their website for pricing. On the website, it states cut and color for $145+. Ok, I thought that was reasonable. I figured that it was going to cost me around $200, So I called Chad and Co. Got a voice recording that said they were closed on Mondays so I hung up. Later that morning someone from Chad and Co. called me back. After talking to them I scheduled an appointment for noon knowing that they were fitting me in between other appointments, which was awesome. All I wanted was a haircut and all-over color. nothing extreme. I have very short hair. When I got there the people were very nice. The salon looked great. The receptionist told me that since I was being fit in between appointments, Maya was going to color my hair and Chad was going to do the haircut. Great, I was cool with that. Maya was awesome with discussing what color I wanted. I chose a basic color from the book, with no highlights. Love the color. I waited for Chad to finish with his other clients. I told Chad that I wanted something new and let him cut my hair. I loved the cut. We talked about his products and even bought some. The price for the products was reasonable. Spent $89.00 on the products. No big deal right? Now for the cost of the cut and color for short hair that doesn't even touch my shoulders, $285.00. So with tip and products, I spent $431.00. Yes, I did tip $50.00 why because two people worked on my hair. My problem was with the price of the service. I wasn't expecting to pay over $200 for the services. I should have asked what the charge was going to be before we got started, but at the same token, they should have discussed pricing with me as well. I will not go back. I can't afford to spend that kind of money every couple of months for upkeep on my hair. That was the most expensive cut and color I have had in my life and I'm 54. Next time I will wait and book an appointment with Floyd's barbershop. at least I will know that it won't cost me more than $200.00 for a cut and color. Lesson learned. read more

Mia gave me a very pretty red hair color that I was totally excited about. It unfortunately washed out super quickly so I called the salon and asked to see her again to freshen it up. I was told she was booked but that Brittany could do it and would use the exact same color. The color did not look the same, it was really unappealing. The salon was super busy that day, and I was super busy too. I didn't like the way it looked but hoped it would wash out quickly. It didn't. My schedule is very limited with my real estate career so I called yesterday as I had a light day to see if I could come in and get toned or something between their appointments. Stephanie was VERY rude to me on the phone. She called Chad even though I asked her not to as she said he as at a graduation. They called and said they could see me at 3:45. I got a text that I had a color and blow out appointment. I was relieved the color would be fixed and I'd get a blow out too. I changed my birthday dinner plans so I would have time to get this horrible color fixed before a big important convention trip I'm leaving for today. Mia kept saying she could see the roots were bad and she could see what Brittany did. I told her it's not just the roots, I hated the whole color throughout. She didn't listen to me....only focused on the roots....She didn't tone my hair and I didn't get a blow out. She and he coworkers had plenty of time to goof around and make jokes while I was there. She went on and on about how I inconvenienced them by trying to call them on a Saturday, and I should have done this, should have done that. Why did they waste my time and have me come in then if they weren't fixing the problem and going to half-ass things and hurry to shove me out? I could have gone to another hair salon instead of wasting my time and only being guilt-tripped instead of helped. I really like Chad and I can tell he cares...but his staff doesn't deliver on the same experience. I'll have to wear my ugly hair in a pony tail on my trip, and am tired from pushing my dinner so late yesterday for essentially NO reason. And now I have to find a new hair salon. I have been coming to this salon for about over a year and a half now. I can say enough about Chad and his team! They are so accommodating with all of my needs. I had a "hair emergency" for an upcoming wedding and Chad had Balmain clip in extensions overnighted for me. He cut and styled them and had me wedding ready all in one day!! I have been there twice now once in June (great service, did a full color and cut-highlights was there for almost four hours) for $200 (normally what you spend for that). I came in today, same nice people but called just for a root touch up which I arrived at 3:15pm and left at 4:45/5 so less than 2 hours. Again, the stylist was a nice person, she offered to tone my hair and I asked if she could "trim" my hair. While I can appreciate nice people, she should or someone should have gone over pricing-THE SALON CHARGED ME FOR A FULL CUT AND COLOR FOR 200$. I got a root touch up, toner, and a quick trim. Unfortunately, with this type of price and no knowledge of it, I will never return here again. read more

Chad and Company saved me!!! I had an unfortunate hair experience with a hair dresser after moving to Colorado from the east coast. I looked like someone who wrestled with a weed-wacker and whose head fell into an ink well. Chad said, "Not a problem, we can fix everything." Music to my ears. John performed a color correction, and Chad miraculously transformed me back to my fun, young-ish looking self with a beautifully orchestrated cut. Even better, this salon has designed their own products specifically for the hair needs of those in high, dry climates! I was a walk in, on a busy Saturday nonetheless, and I was greeted promptly by the wonderful staff. I asked if they could fit me in, and without hesitation Jon took me back to his chair. I had no idea what I wanted to do to my hair, and although I felt bad for not giving him a solid direction to go in he was able to seemingly read my mind. He was patient with me as I attempted to explain what I wanted and he interpreted it into a realistic and achievable idea. I had a feeling that I would really like my hair, but as soon as I saw it I LOVED it. Chad has not accepted new clients for over five plus years, so when you book a new appointment, the receptionist immediately pawns you off to one of his mediocre junior stylists who lack the skill set required to secure an esteemed job at a higher end salon. Based on my numerous encounters working with these junior stylists, don't bother, you will be disappointed! Chad doesn't invest his time and money in training his junior staff in how to stay current with trends and improve technique. It's very sad. read more

I had Kerrie as a stylist, and she gave me the best hair cut I've ever received. Who knew someone could give a plain Jane type of haircut with so much pizzaz and attitude! I moved to Colorado in August 2019 (almost a year ago) and I have been looking for salon that I could trust and I finally found it!! Chad & Co. Salon is it!! My first visit on Saturday June 13, 2020 was unforgettable. My first impression walking through the doors blew me out of the water. The look and feel of the of the salon is so classy and has such a nice high-end look about it. The salon was very clean and organized as well. Chad and his wife have their own product line which is nicely displayed off to the right, the reception desk is nicely placed in the center right when you walk in. The ladies who greeted me (I'm sorry I didn't get their names) were very nice and professional. Chad was there and he greeted me as well. With it being right after quarantine it's nice to see they are taking extra precautions to keep everyone safe. I was asked to put my purse in a bag (don't worry you can keep it with you), then my temperature was taken, and lastly I was asked to wash my hands. Along with all of that all of the staff were wearing masks. I respect their practices to keep everyone safe. I then was immediately seen by Giacomo Vanella. He's been with Chad & Co. Salon for eight years. His passion shines through when he is with you. His attention to detail is uncanny. He educated me on the health of my hair, what he was doing at all times and showing me step by step what he was doing. He's a great conversationalist and I was beyond pleased with his work! I was looking for a salon close to my home and walked in one day to Chad and Company. I didn't have an appointment, but lucky for me they were very accommodating and called Valla, one of their newest stylists. She agreed to come in early to color and cut my hair. It's always risky to try a new stylist but I was so thrilled! I'm a blonde and prior to finding Valla my hair sometimes looked brassy. Not anymore! I love my new look. I just returned last week and Valla once again made my hair the most beautiful I have had it in many years! Not a day goes by that I don't receive a compliment and the question, "Who does your hair?" My daughter had several services done, and although she expected it to be on the upper end of relatively expensive salons, she was charged nearly $400.00 with tip. She never got a receipt because the front desk gal was struggling to do her job, so she had no idea how much they charged her until she saw it on her credit card bill. I find this to be outrageous! I have never spent over $300.00 for my hair, and I feel that she was taken advantage of. Shame on the stylist! Lesson learned...ask for the cost of each service BEFORE they start it. read more

I visited this salon for the first time today. I was in desperate need of some color and my previous hair dresser at my old salon quit. I went to Chad & Co not knowing what to expect. I will NEVER go anywhere else again. Alden gave me a beautiful glowing blonde color and got rid of the dull look I had. He also trimmed my hair and it was an amazing trim! In 10 minutes he put in quick layers and made my hair look healthier and absolutely wonderful. He didn't complain once about the ridiculous amount of hair I have and the price was perfect for me! I moved here from southern California and on a referral came to Chad. He was my 4th colorist within a 1 year of moving here, because there are very few good colorist that can do blonde really well. To say I'm picky is an understatement!! I hate yellow and I have 3 colors running through my hair. I went to a "high end" salon downtown and although the color was good, she destroyed my hair! This is the first time in years that someone has taken clippers to my head. Yes, my hair style is short, but for $45 I expect a bit more finesse and professionalism. I would also expect to be able to leave the salon and go about my day. There wasn't even an attempt at styling, forcing me to go back home to clean up and make myself look like I hadn't just gotten out of bed. Unfortunately, I did not have the pleasure of becoming his client; I had to visit the salon three days in a row tying to get my hair the way I liked it and on the third day, the stylist just wanted to argue with me.
