It would have been nice to know that ahead of time instead of seeing my car driven in to the shop from a different shop. Fast forward to now, my AC went out again several weeks ago and I'll need to take it in once more to inspect what is happening. While this service was cheaper then competitors I feel it may have been worth it in the long run to take it somewhere else because I'll end up paying more to get it done again anyway at this point.

The manager I spoke with on Monday morning told me that "the law states" they could not provide me with the inspection and that I would have to pay another $360 for a completely new pre-purchase inspection. After looking into it further, I found that this was at best a misleading explanation. If the shop has a policy not to release inspection reports to anyone other than the original customer, that's understandable--but saying "the law" requires a new inspection is very different. I felt like I was being pressured to spend another $360 unnecessarily. On top of that, the manager was rude from the very beginning of the phone call. Customer service matters, especially when someone is trying to make an informed purchase on a vehicle. I hope the business is more transparent with future customers about its policies and treats people with more respect. I called them to report this, they said bring it in for a diagnostic steam clean and dye to the oil for I think $130 or so. I feel they should have look at it for free seeing as though I told them there was no leak before they did the oil change. Took the car into another auto repair to have them look at it. the problem was the wrong oil pan plug and washer was installed resulting in the leak. I would like a refund of the cost to have it diagnosed and repaired with the proper plug and washer was $160.43. I won't charge you for my time.

I came in because my car was squealing when I started it, but it did not do it on the day of the appointment. Rather than blowing me off or charging me for something I may not need, they opted to make sure my car was safe to drive and inspected the engine. They noticed that I had some oil build up, so they taught me how to check my oil and educated me on how to take care of that in both the short and long term. They made sure my serpentine belt was safe to drive and answered all of my questions, despite not charging me. No one works on commission here, and they really seem to do right by the customer. I will for sure be back with any of my auto mechanic needs!
