+.5 for service This…read moreis the Montana's on Empress Street, near Polo Park. Out of all the Montana's I've been to in the city, this is easily the busiest. I'll be the first to state that Montana's is never my first choice when it comes to good food. However every so often I don't mind coming here as the experience is kinda cool, especially if someone's celebrating their birthday. As of the writing of this review, Montana's is having a beef brisket special, which is actually not terrible. I had their BBQ brisket sandwich, and honestly it was good. The brisket was juicy and plenty, and the Texas Bold BBQ sauce has always been consistent. Service was good here, no complaints at all. I wouldn't say no to dining here, at least the food is edible. A bit pricey though.

My meal was the "Surprise" French toast with Swiss cheese and eggs. It could have came with meat but I asked the waiter to swap it out for more cheese and he made it happen. He was also quick to refill our drinks. The fruits on top of my French toast were delicious and fresh and paired up with the syrup was a fantastic package! The food price was a little bit high but the customer service made it worth it. I definitely recommend having breakfast food here!

I like my meals creamy and cheesy and this sandwich had sauce but I am not sure cheesy is quite the word but it was eatable. I went home and put a different sauce on it and then it was delicious. My friend had the Philly burger sandwich and he said it was a 2-3. It was something he can eat but he would not order it again. I saw that the cheese was extremely melted and not easy to see. At the restaurant we were talking and he said that he had CoVid and he is now sensitive to certain things so I am not sure how to assess what he told me. The sandwich honestly looked normal to me but it's not something that I would gravitate towards to dine on but I don't really like super meat stuff usually. The restaurant is small and they tolerate all kinds of energy and people. They seem nice and normal and they were polite and helpful.
