This brewery has so much space for groups and has amazing food and beer. They have large TVs for ongoing games and the staff are incredibly nice and attentive. I got the power bowl which was probably the best I've had. They have a full bar for a wide selection in drinks. read more

Headed here to meet with some family for a visit, we love trying breweries we've never been to before especially when we're travelling. My husband really loved the Easy Peasy- which is a pink lemonade sour. We made sure to grab some for home too. I had the Sober Tom which was really nice as well. It was a bit on the quieter side when we were there so I would say the vibe was nice and chill. Service was pretty good, my meal got mixed up but it was fixed promptly I had the pulled pork and my hubby had the Mac and cheese. We would definitely return next time we're in the area. read more

In addition to the popular One Great City line of craft beer, the bar serves a wide range of foods including pizza and mac n cheese. I had their pork belly Detroit-style pizza in my first visit, which is unique in that it's a square/rectangular pizza. Their portions are huge and the pizza was very tasty. I probably could do without the pork belly and try another ingredient next time. On my next visit I had their mac and cheese. Also very good and large portions, the cheese is not overwhelming at all. Service is good and they check for vaccination proof before you enter. Am definitely a regular customer! read more

Food was great for the most part. The burger and the deep fried pickles were my favourite. The only downer on the food side was the poutine. It was wretched. Honestly it shouldn't be called a poutine. Very misleading. The flavour of whatever sauce it has (it's not gravy) is disgusting. Some of the toppings were foreign to poutine and should never be used in the same sentence nevermind the same kitchen. It's a culinary travesty. As for the rest of it, the setting is nice and there is a satisfactory amount of screens if you're going there to watch a game but I wouldn't call it a sports bar. Great place, good food, service was very good. Steer clear of the poutine or whatever that mess is. read more

Such a great brewery for food! We always go for lunch when the vibes are quiet. We've never had beer from there but we go for the food. They have a fully transparent kitchen and great staff. It looks like the staff enjoy working there. Recommend black bean veggie burger and lambwich! read more

I'm kind of on the fence about this place for 2 or 3 stars. We've visited a few times and we still can't decide if we like it or don't care for it. It's odd. Today was packed and we were greeted by the host that immediately told us they were under staffed. Not my problem and definitely not a great intro, in my opinion. Regardless, she did let us know there was a wait so that's fair. Maybe sitting us down with a menu and asking if we'd like to start with a drink would be appropriate, but that didn't happen. This place is huge and the decor is very basic. The furniture is homemade which is fine but just not well planned out. Light-coloured fabric seats will be destroyed in no time. If you're sitting at the bar stool tables, they're higher than high. Our server was quite short and was eye-level to the table. Awkward they'd assign her to tables she can't even reach. The hockey game was on which is great if that's what you're there for. The layout is congested and a lot of communal seating. I don't mind that but it's not the best place to take a date. While portions aren't overly generous, the food is pretty good. The beer is also just alright and always out of stock. After several visits, we still haven't tried all the beers (what we come for) because something is always out of stock. read more

A few friends suggested this place and tbh, I drove by and wasn't expecting much with it being in a mini mall beside Dollarama. Thought it was going to be this small tasting room but was surprised to see how big it was. Had a family reunion dinner and tasting and they were able to easily accommodate 15 people. I consider myself a pretty good reviewer of breweries and this one didn't impress me too much. I wish they had a larger patio and a larger selection of beers on tap. The PB&J beer truly tasted like an uncrustables sandwich. It was a spot on beer, but none of the other brews caught my eye. When looking over the food menu, Nothing really caught my eye, but I decided upon the Korean bbq sandwich and it was alright. Their ranch dressing was super herby and the fries were great. The beer was and always had been AMAZING and the food is still INCREDIBLE. Service needs a big overhaul though. Went for a beer and a burger. Was ignored by the waitress after we ordered. Had to flag down another server who just finished chumming it up with four other staff members at the bar. I understand the restaurant wasn't too busy, however, check on the patrons before slacking with your coworkers. We were almost finished our entire meals when she checked on us to see if we needed anything. Had to ask for ketchup twice from 2 other staff. Had to flag down another server for another beer as the chumming continued at the bar for nearly 35 minutes. As I was 4 french fries away from finishing, I didn't see a need for vinegar anymore. We waited forever for our bill which never came. Had to go up to the bartender and ask for it. Let's just say her tip wasn't great. read more

Stopped in for a Saturday afternoon lunch while out cycling. I've seen some complaints about parking here- lots of parking today for vehicles- unfortunately not really bike friendly as there is no bicycle rack or anything you can lock your bikes to.- we ended up locking our bikes in front of Safeway and walking over to OGC. Service was great, and the decor is very nice. The nachos are some of the best in the city. Burgers and sandwiches were outstanding as well. We were hoping to try some of their brews, however they were unable to serve their own brews but they did offer up a good selection of guest beers from other Winnipeg craft breweries. Great experience and we'll be back to try out the dinner menu and some of their house beers. read more

First off, I can only provide a review of their beer since everything on the food menu did not look appetizing. I'm an avid craft beer drinking and taproom visitor who has been to hundreds of craft breweries in Canada, the States and beyond. I ordered two flights to taste a variety. This is something that I rarely do because there generally are two or three beers that I will commit to. From all that I tried, I could only drink maybe half. The beers all tasted watered-down, lacked depth, and extremely low on carbonation. If it wasn't for the amazing server we had I would say this is a place that you can skip, which is also something I rarely say or do since we all can have unique experiences that are altered by our own flavor profiles. Maybe this style is your style for beer. If so, go and check out the massive space and patio. The outside looks a bit strange being in what appears to be an old strip mall, but never judge a book by its cover. I'm still glad that I stopped by and got to experience this place along my travels. There's nothing wrong with this place if you like great food and delish beer. I don't understand some of the other reviews. My daughter and I went on her recommendation. The descriptions of the food on the menu 'might' miss the mark a little as it's hard to describe what toasted chick peas taste like and how they can make a pub butter chicken simply something else....OMG, soooo good. I would easily have the butter chicken again, and this is a brewery not an Indian restaurant. My daughter had the pickerel fish and chips and everything was perfect with that dish too. I usually will move past the cole slaw but couldn't this time because it looked so good and tasted great. As I travel across western Canada as part of my job and eat a my fair share of pubs and the food at this pub was easily some of the best pub grub I have had. I hope they keep it up. Visited today with my brother. I ordered a flight and the roasted lamb sandwich. The flight was good although I'm not a big beer fan. The lamb was very finally shaved and was melt in your mouth tender. Not really distinct lamb flavor. Very subtle. The bun was good although the bottom half was a bit soggy. Overall a great sandwich. The fries were great. The service was just right. I would return for sure. read more

We had heard mixed reviews of this establishment and figured it was time to check out for ourselves. We walked in and thought it had a great look and feel. The hostess was pleasant and showed us to our seats. Our server, Emily, is a fantastic example of how the perfect sever should be. She was attentive but gave us enough time without interrupting our meal. She made the lunch a great experience. When we explained I had an allergy, she checked with the kitchen staff. They checked the ingredients to ensure the whole process would not affect me. Not many places do this and it was great to see. We had the fish and chips and a Rueben sandwich(without the Russian dressing unfortunately). Both were delicious. Highly recommend both. We tried a couple of the lighter beers and even brought home a growler of Falcon Blonde. We will definitely go back and would recommend them to anyone if you want a nice casual lunch. We were amazed when our server told us they've only been open 3 weeks. As visitors to Winnipeg, we were sure this must be an institution around here. Our burgers were perfect: sizeable portions, fresh ingredients, and awesome bacon! The fries hit all of the characteristics we look for: golden, crispy, and real potato on the inside. Great beer was a welcome addition! Awesome service and minimalist modern decor that we'd happily mimic in our home created an atmosphere that will have us coming back. Kudos! read more
