From starting out with just one beer a few years ago (the great tasting 1919), to major expansion into many different beers, you are sure to find every single one of their beers crisp, fresh and soooo tasty! There's something for every taste bud so be adventurous and try a flight! The patio is dog friendly and it's always a great place to enjoy the amazing architecture of the beautiful Exchange District. Great to pop in if you're walking around or even if you're biking (racks to lock up just out front). Parking is limited so expect to park on the street (free in the evenings and part of weekends). The brewery is host to many awesome events throughout the year. Things like making your own leather bag, to trivia night, live music and parties. It's worth mentioning that this is a GREAT place to have your workplace party. We've done a few and had food delivered (hint, Indian or pizza pairs perfect with any of their bevies!). If you're short on time and can't stick around for a pint, you can take their beer to go or have it delivered to your door by the Little Brown Truck (order through their website). Lastly, we can't say enough about the atmosphere and the staff. There isn't a better place to come hang out where staff is east going and always has time to make you feel welcome. However, our table didn't work so we were directed to go to other tables and the bar itself to use their to make our order. The drinks took forever to come, and the food didn't come at all for about 45 minutes. Our final boarding call came before the food arrived and we had to chase down the server and get our food put in containers to go. The was less than half full. No excuse for this, especially at an airport. Further, when the food and drink finally did start arriving after our third boarding call, it started arriving at the wrong tables because we had been forced to use the QR codes at other tables. By this time, other people were sitting there and it created mass confusion. Overall, an absolutely terrible experience that could've been resolved instantly had the simply taken our order in person. I'd say it's the best burger in the city in terms of rich flavourness. Sure it's not the biggest, but for this place it's the quality that stands out. In addition to the burger, we also shared a beef tartare. It was good as well, somewhat pricey at $22 given the portion size but it does its job as a shared plate. Service was excellent here. Definitely would return for special occasions whenever I have friends over (a bit bougee for me to consider going multiple times a month).

I regularly enjoy their standards both at the brewery and from the liquor store. I have had quite a few of their test batches as well and enjoyed them. I have not experienced any 'poor' beers as he describes. I think his review is subjective and a result of a poor beer education despite his claim to the contrary. You can't slag a brewery if you have a piss poor palette.

Base brews are a Pilsner, California common ( highly recommended!) a respectable IPA, a sessionable sour, and a nice porter. They have test batches and seasonal runs, so typically some good variety. They often have chef pop ups so always something different and interesting to eat. Can't wait to go back!
