Great interior. Somewhat typical hard bar seating.
Barn Hammer is a true brewery, and they have a tap room with snacks available. While you can bring your own food (I usually order pizza delivery from Casa Grande down the road), this is NOT a brew pub/restaurant with food and coffee etc.
Evidently this is confusing for other reviewers.
While I have brewed my own beer in the past, and make it a point to taste any beer I come across worldwide, I wouldn't call myself a beer expert. I passionately love experiencing new beverages, foods, and places.
That said, I absolutely hate the typical beer from the huge breweries like Molson-Coors, etc.
One bigger brewery I enjoy is Unibroue, but it is the small brewers that often make beer more enjoyable.
What I love about Barn Hammer, is that they are willing to break the "rules". While they do brew some traditional stuff, I am often pleasantly surprised with their more adventurous brews.
My biggest disappointment is that many are only available from their taproom.
If you want beer that avoids being boring, in a traditional tap room environment, Barn Hammer is a great choice.
Anyhow.. It's the May long weekend and time for me to order some for delivery during these strange times. read more
