Spicy Italian with their amaaaazing pickles!
Lynsey S.

The sandwich I had here WAS DELICIOUS. I had the Spicy Italian and it definitely lived up to it's name. I had it on the brown/multigrain bread and I asked for light aioli (not that I don't like some good mayo, but sometimes sandwich places just put WAY too much on and it ruins it. I'd rather have too little than too much). The meat and cheese were nice and spicy, so much so I had to pull the red onions off of the sandwich because it was just way too much heat. Speaking of heat, if you don't get a spicy pickle on the side (which is a giant monster of a pickle sliced in half... and you get 3 halves, so it's a pickle and a half! And since I love pickles I was really psyched about that) you don't deserve to eat here. I went on a Friday evening after 7:00 pm so the mall and food court was very quiet, I only had to wait a few minutes for my sandwich. The only downside is the price, it was more than $12.00 for the sandwich (not even a foot long) and a pickle which is definitely not food court prices. Will I be back? Absolutely, you can't keep me from a great sandwich, but I won't go back as often as I would like because for that cost I may as well go to a sit down restaurant where I can have a cocktail with my sandwich.

Getting my sandwich on, the Bahn Mi from Chachi's
Kendra J.

When you work in a mall the food choices become like horrid tv reruns. Today I stretched out my walking legs and made the journey to the other end of West ed to get my sandwich on. Today's choice was the Banh mi from Chachi's. Bread was soft, brisket was saucy and flavourful although slightly lacking in texture, could have used more jalapeños and less pickled carrots. 8 out 10 would sandwich there again.

This is usually my favourite place to eat... the bun was super dry... not a lot of meat like usual.

Soooooo good. Fresh ingredients and hot to serve. Price is a tad high but for local ingredients it was perfect.

Free refills on the pop (self serve) this is one of the better places in the food court, not very busy when I've seen it. Some of the best fast food I've eaten. Make sure you try the amazing garlic potatoes! I would give 5 stars but they told me there are no refills even though the fountain pop faces the customer, If there are no refills then don't make me pour my own drink.

Today I was at West Edmonton Mall, and I wasn't really that hungry, but I really wanted to try Koryo. I got the BBQ Chicken Main Dish. It was only $7, and it came with plenty of food--much more than I was expecting. It came with two chicken thighs, two scoops of rice, and two side dish choices. I got the green beans and the potatoes. They also smothered my food in a delicious sauce. The chicken was very good. It was cooked well, and it was very tender. The rice was good--not too sticky. The green beans surprised me, because they were purposely cold. I wasn't crazy about that, but it was still good. The potatoes were to die for. They were very crispy on the outside, yet very soft on the inside. I had to take at least half of my food home, because I couldn't eat it all, and the worker was nice enough to give me a little box to put it in. Koryo was like eating at an actual restaurant--even better than some restaurant food I've had, and it's cheaper too. I'll definitely be coming here again!

I honestly did not think I would find quality Indian food in a West Edmonton Mall food court. Was I wrong. So far, I have tried palak paneer (spinach curry with chunks of cheese), chana masala (chickpea curry), and a pea and paneer dish whose name eludes me at the moment. The paneer is firm and sweet, just as it should be. The meals are served with a generous helping of rice that tasted like proper basmati rice when I had it. Meals also come with a large piece of naan bread, which is baked on the spot. At around seven dollars, you get a full Indian meal that would cost way more in a sit-down restaurant. The samosas are huge and are sold as pairs. The pakoras are mouth-watering dumplings of chickpeas, onions, and spices and are sold in fives. I would come here just to get some to nibble on. Admittedly, I have yet to try the butter chicken but I am looking forward to it.

After I got through my confusion and my built up anger started to go away I had to test it out. This place exceeded my expectations.. by a lot. The butter chicken tasted good, almost as good as some of the best Indian restaurants. The price wasn't bad at all and it actually gets cheaper the more stuff you get. I am still baffled as to why this place exists but I have to admit the owners might be on to something.
