First impression.. unlike the old location,there's plenty of parking .. and the neighboring businesses are closed on Saturdays so there's even more available. They have a good variety in the freezers and even some BBQs for sale . The butcher counter has a lot to offer and everything on display looked great . They even have a dry aging cabinet so you can see the aging process. They also have a coffee bar and a few tables to enjoy some coffee and a snack . Everything was reasonably priced . Big Daddy is not actually very big. Most tables were for two and even though it was only around 11:00 am on Monday, most tables were in use. We sat at the bar looking out the window. We placed our order at the counter. This is where they shocked me by saying that they don't sell coffee. I wasn't expecting anything fancy but no coffee at all was a shock that cost them one star (that means if you don't want coffee you can consider this a 5 star rating). We asked for cups of tap water but they didn't have cups either. He eventually offered us free bottled water so we would have something to drink. That was very nice of them. I ordered the southwestern chicken wrap. It was delicious. It also had quite a bite to it because of the hot peppers. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. I can certainly recommend this wrap to anyone. My partner ordered the fried egg sandwich from the breakfast menu. She really liked it. Washrooms were large and clean. There was a steady stream of people coming and going at 11:00 am so at noon it must be crazy busy. If you can live without coffee with your sandwich you will be happy you stopped at Big Daddy Sandwich.

I ordered a latte which came just under $8 with the dairy substitution. My latte wasn't bad. I noticed a plain cup of tea seemed pretty pricey at $5-7 depending on which kind you got. The cakes looked like they came from the grocery store (Save ons) to be specific. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. The service was standard. There was one woman who seemed to be doing it all. You make your order at the till and they call you up once it's ready. Although it was nice to try something different, this is not a place that I would go out of my way to visit again.
