    I have to counter the last and only review. I have been dealing with Gourmet Secrets for almost 2…read moreyears. I am a very satisfied customer. Their customer service is great and they always respond promptly (Amanda especially). Any product I did not like they refunded me by way of a credit which I was happy with since I purchase from them regularly. This is mostly their prepackaged items which I'm not a fan of most times anyway but thought I'd try them. That said the other couple we bought we liked. I didn't buy for that stuff anyway - I'm looking for items I can't get easily locally or that are a special product available from them in particular. Their products are great - all their bison is awesome, European wieners, gluten free sausages, rack of lamb, tourtiere, salmon caviar, and much more are our favs so far. I even bought their Sashimi and the octopus was awesome - a very large piece so would be better perhaps in smaller portions is my only complaint. Actually that is my one complaint about the salmon caviar too - but if you are having folks over it's the bomb. Talk to them - they will tell you the best way to use your coupons and get the best deal - mine included free S&H which was a super deal. Buying the 8 package deals gets you the very best deal and it's a great amount for your freezer without being too much. Delivery is great - one nice size Styrofoam container on dry ice. I have never had any issues and I have it delivered to my office and then have a good drive home but always still frozen. I find people think they should get something for free - is that an X or Y Gen thing? This is a deal but nothing is free. They are a business trying to drum up business like most offers at Teambuy or Groupon. Take your chances but don't believe all the crap written on the good old inet. People love to complain and when it is 'anonymous' it's way too easy.

    I purchased a group on months ago to receive "samplers packs" every 2nd month…read more. Gourmet secrets service for this was down for about 4 months and wouldn't send us orders. I got told two months ago it is working now and I placed an order with a confirmation number over a month and a half ago AND STILL NO ORDER!! Worst service I've ever had to deal with. I highly recommend that people don't use this company as they lack significantly in customer satisfaction! Beware!

    Downgrading this to a meh. Yes the produce is good quality. Yes the idea of sourcing local…read moreproducts and delivering greener is something I value. However, the service keeps sliding downhill each week. I don't know if all the great employees quit after 2019 but 2020 has been riddled with errors. Out of seven total deliveries so far, two have had missing items and I'm not a fan of the policy that doesn't just refund the money to your credit card. They give you store credit towards your next purchase as a default. If I'm consistently getting wrong orders, I'm going to start going elsewhere and don't want to go through the hassle of requesting a refund. My last order was confirmed delivered by email and the delivery person didn't even go to the right address, which caused a lot of stress because I had an invoice, had a confirmation, but the customer service person couldn't get the driver on the phone. The customer service person was supposed to call me back to confirm it was being redelivered. They didn't. The food was eventually delivered but the drivers never knock so I have no idea when it was delivered. I just happened to stumble across my delivery an hour after I got off the phone with support when I went to take out the trash. Completely sub-par quality control and delivery even though the products are great.

    I have been a customer for many years. I have now suspended my delivery and will not be using Spud…read moreagain. Why? I was charged more than $150.00 for an order I did not receive. Their website can be very "glitchy", and even though I had canceled this order multiple times apparently the order was still on their books. I received a text telling me it was going to be delivered. I was at an appt at the Cross Cancer, weigh 90 pounds, and cannot bring the order in myself. I tried to tell the "customer care" representative my issue. I put that in quotations as she didn't "care" at all and just kept repeating that it was my fault for not submitting my order properly. She did call the driver and instruct him not to deliver my order as I am not physically able to carry it in the house myself and my son was away for the weekend. Even though the driver didn't deliver the food I was charged for it. I have repeatedly attempted to contact a supervisor and I am repeatedly told someone will get in contact with me. They have not. What they have done is charge my credit card so now.....already weighing 90 pounds....battling leukaemia.....I have no more grocery money for the remainder of September. Shame on you Spud! I have suspended delivery as apparently I can't even cancel my account or remove my payment information, and no one calls me. DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM SPUD.....THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU AT ALL!!!!!! As you can see from the photo I took of the calendar that I did not have an order of over$150.00 for that day. they don't care!
