Turkey and Torpedo Sandwich. Diced Salad on the side

Customer service and vibes are top-tier!! I love when owners take the time to really engage with customers. Got the pup cup, torpedo, and turkey sandwiches and wowwwww can't wait to be back.

Super Friendly service. I had the honor of meeting the owner Reese. I will definitely be back to try the other sandwiches. I had the torta de jamón. 10/10

Back to Chachi's for their amazing sandwiches! First had them about a month for a picnic on a boat and everyone loved everything.

Cute little sandwich counter tucked inside beach city market, a neighborhood liquor store. The idea of this was brilliant and I'm so happy to see the business thriving. I've been by many times but have not decided to buy until today. I love the convenience of it. Want a quick order just pick an item out of their fridge in front and scan the QR code to pay. Or order a fresh sandwich and it's handed to you down a sandwich slide lol! There are these cute red chairs set outside to eat in-front of the store and the sandwich shop is right to your left when entering the market. When walking up to the counter I was greeting kindly. I did not have much to say as I already made up my mind on what I wanted to order. The menu here is not complex but all of the sandwiches looked good so hard to choose from. It was a torpedo or ham torta, I went with a torpedo! Which is usually what I like to order from other sandwich shops around town. It seems that many of the sandwiches around town are your typical deli style sandwiches, in a dominant italian cuisine town the torpedo is quite common... and they're all competing against each other. The thing I really liked about Chachi's is the bread. Oh the bread! In my opinion it's all about the bread. This makes the entire sandwich. Instead of your typical roll which can either be fresh and soft, or hard and crunchy, warm or cold, the bread they use here is like their little twist. Ciabatta for the win. I appreciate uniqueness. I love the idea of this place, the customer service and mostly the food. Perfect for picnics, on your way to the coast, or party packs. I wish them well and happy to see they will be expanding to western and 25th. Definitely recommend and will be back to explore more of the menu.

Been here for a few times now and I've tried different sandwiches. I really like the pastrami, turkey, and grilled cheese sandwiches. The tuna melt could be better. In my opinion, a great tuna melt needs crisp, toasted bread, perfectly melted cheese, and the tuna salad portion at a temperature such that when you bite into it the contrast of the cold tuna salad and the hot cheese isn't too significant. In addition, the tuna salad shouldn't have a lot of liquid or else it'll make the sandwich soggy, which Chachi's version was. In any case, I like their other sandwiches enough to keep coming. Order ahead online if you don't want to wait since the sandwiches are made to order!

Great selection of drinks in store

Chachis has yummy deli sandwiches. It's located inside a small corner store. The servers were friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked in. I had the turkey which had a special spread with cranberries & walnuts. My husband had the Torpedo which he also enjoyed. The sandwiches are heated, so the cheese melts and outside bread is crunchy, inside is still soft. Sandwiches are good size, so I saved half for lunch the next day. While they were prepping our sandwich, we checked out the store for chips and drinks. The store had a really good selection. There are a couple of tables out front. Plenty of street parking and a small lot.

I really like the grilled cheese! Yup. It takes one of those and I'm good! I like this little spot but I get the expansion. I hope they keep this little spot for the locals. Cheese and spread on point! Grilled to flat perfection! Service is great and friendly.

Chachi's is such a vibe! My coworker found it as we were looking to grab some lunch. Chachi's is located inside a market store, right at the entrance! The girls were so helpful. Especially the girl at the register. It was our first time so she explained the menu and gave some sandwich recommendations. I got the torta which was huge and delicious! The cashier also mentioned they have cool events sometimes. There are only a couple of tables outside, but luckily the cashier suggested a few cute spots around the area to enjoy our sandwich with a view. Oh, I almost forgot, once your sandwich is ready, it gets delivered through a sandwich slide. Looking forward to going back!

Good value, the sandwiches are fairly priced. The shop is inside a grocery market but there are a few tables to sit outside and eat at. We got the torpedo and the pastrami and both were good. We added onions to both which I highly suggest. Minus one star because the sandwich's were both missing something, and the pastrami would go better with a different type of cheese instead of American.

Stumbled upon this place when in San Pedro for a work training and I am glad I did! It's a little tucked away from an outside view; just walk into the market. It's a small shop with two people working. Staff were very friendly and offered me a sample of their tuna, which helped me make the decision to order their Tuna Melt. It was sooo yummy and perfect for a summer afternoon.

Fantastic Sandwiches, totally a great recommendation to take on the go! With plenty of parks near by, these sandwiches are a great pick up to take on a picnic. The spreads are delicious and there's wonderful sides available--we had the diced tomato salad made from local fresh tomatoes and it was perfect in this crazy heat wave we had this week. I got the ham torta sandwich and I will absolutely get it again! The sandwiches are HUGE, the pics online sort of made me think they would be small but nope these are giant and totally shareable. Thank you for the wonderful chat in store as well, it was so nice and welcoming as soon as we stepped into the shop :)

Combine your sandwich with the vegetable salad and the flavors are next level

The owner puts such good energy and effort into the food and customer service that I cannot recommend this place enough! If you are craving for fresh sandwiches and mediterranean style salad, this is your next spot to try.

This was our first time at Chachi's Sandwiches in San Pedro--and wow, what a great find! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch: super friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. You can tell they take pride in what they do. We ordered the Torpedo sandwich and it was delicious. Perfectly layered, full of flavor, and incredibly satisfying. You know that moment when you take the first bite and just know you made the right choice? Yep, that was it. Bonus points: Chachi's is tucked inside a liquor store/convenience store, which made it super convenient to grab some snacks and cold drinks for our beach day right after. Total win. Definitely adding this spot to our San Pedro must-visit list.

There is this one incident that really hits home with me several years back. On my way to work, I work nights, I ordered via Yelp as always, and as I'm pulling up the shop, I realize I don't have my wallet. @#%$!! I decide to walk in and tell them that I'm sorry to have ordered what I did and not have the means to pay for it. I'm thinking, what a waste of food! So, I walk in and I tell the owner what happened and that I apologize. Before I can walk out he says, "Hey, that's ok. I recognize you and things happen. Go ahead and take it and get me next time." Wow! Amazing! NO ONE DOES THAT ANYMORE! Now I'm not saying these guys are going to give you free food, but I will say they have HEART. A lot of establishes have lost heart, but they have it! Staff is so friendly and helpful when it comes to ordering. Ordered lots of food and received it all in less than 10 minutes. Pho Tai Filet Mignon - 7/10: Broth is more acidic and sour compared to other restaurant broths, the red onion addition makes it feel more homemade which I loved. Pricing is a bit high but for a small business I get it. I'm all for supporting local business. Nuoc Mam Wings - 8/10: I've never had fish sauce before but LOVED these wings. An amazing sweet treat. Banana Cloud Latte - 8/10: Strong! Very good. Loved the dried banana topping and the cinnamon. I forgot to order mine without tomatoes, but they were easy enough to take off, and I don't mind the residual flavor in this kind of sandwich. The chicken was generous in all three dishes, and had nice flavor! The marinara was just that, marinara, but a still was decent for "fast food." Also, their Caesar dressing is more of a vinaigrette than a traditional thicker Caesar dressing, nice and light and super flavorful! All in all, this was a great experience! And then this place popped up. Of course we were literally around the block from it beforehand. It's a cute little cafe nestled right among a cute little residential block. It's like a if you know you know type of place as it's not on a main street. Literally at the end of a block where's its basically homes. So a neighborhood cafe. There was plenty of seating as it was mid week during lunch time. We walked in which has an open concept with the wide window looking outside. There's a bar area with counter hi top seating and a nice patio out front with umbrellas covered tables. It was a little breezy but had to make do as we had the little pup with us. Checked in with one of the server which she informed us to have a seat anywhere we like. A good amount of the guest did occupied the patio seating which we did to as it was nice out when your in the sun but a little breezy. Menu wise, it's mainly breakfast and lunch. They only open till 3. We started off with the bubbly special which was a bottle and a juice. Can't have brunch without mimosas. For the price it was great, 21.00 I believe. Meal, they had a board right when you walked in with daily specials. We went with an order of the lobster omelette and the tri tip sandwich. Both on the special. It was between the lobster or Philly steak omelette which we were informed that lobster was a favorite among the guest. That was served with either house potatoes or hash browns and toast, biscuits. And the tri tip was with curly fries. Plus an order of onion rings to accompany the meal. Omelette was quite tasty as I wasn't quite sure with the ratio of lobster. Quite honestly, it was decent size chunks inside and a good amount of it. The hollandaise sauce added that extra touch to it. Everything was delicious. The tri tip sandwich itself was excellent. Served on a roll which was tasty and the sauce used was amazing. It just made everything work all together. Plus both the seasoned fried and onion rings were excellent. Both with a nice crunch to it. Service was excellent. Our waitress was a doll and the sweetest. Food was great and the mimosa's special was the finish touch to a nice brunch. The cafe itself was a cute addition to the neighborhood. Street parking along the front. Not sure if there's parking in the back. Overall, it was a great find and would definitely come back.

So this may have been my first (and last) breakfast here. My friend got the breakfast quesadilla, which was oozing with cheese--seemingly low-quality cheese, that gooey-looking kind. A little paltry for the price of $18. Why no beans on the side? I was considering the lobster omelette for a whopping $25 and the waiter raved about it and I let myself be persuaded. It was terrible! Drenched in a creepily orange supposed hollandaise (as we know, see photo, Hollandaise sauce is not meant to be orange), which looked like it was poured from a can. Thin and no lemon. Just some cheap flavoring. The waiter insisted that they had "made it this morning," so maybe they made it from a powder from a packet? I was starving so joylessly I ate nearly half of it and then subsisted on eating most of a generous serving of hash browns. Perhaps I was too timid. When the waiter did not offer any compensation, or to get me another plate of something else, I just dutifully sucked it up. Then he asked if we wanted coffee cake -- which should have been on the house, since he clearly realized I was not happy with the lousy omelette. If I'd not been with a person I was only meeting for the first time, I'd have been more plaintive, but I did not want to embarrass them -- they live in the area, and I do not. But just YUCK. When another friend joined us to sit and chat after our plates had been taken away he told us how he'd given up on this joint. I suggest something be done about the food quality and value.
