Honey Black Milk Tea, Hot (Large) Almond Black Milk Tea, Hot (Medium)
    Kimberly S.

Cha has a special place in my heart as it's the first boba I EVER tried when I was 18 and a freshman at CSULB. I was obsessed from my first sip of almond black milk tea. I've since lived in San Diego for 10 years where I tried 20+ other boba shops but always longed for Cha's boba. I moved back to Long Beach this year and I'm ecstatic to live near a Cha For Tea again; it's just as delicious as I remember! I used to only get the ABMT, but I've ventured out and also love the honey green milk tea. The iced mango green tea goes so hard in the summer -- with or without boba! The service is always friendly and efficient. Aside from the drinks being delicious, they're also very CONSISTENT, which is so valuable in a place you get drinks. Not to mention it's a great place to get some homework done -- there's 7 or 8 tables, plus a couple outside. Love you forever, Cha For Tea. I hope I always live near a location so I can be a customer for life.

First time trying this boba shop, recommended by my friend. I always like to try Thai tea at these types of shop as a base line. Unfortunately their Thai tea tasted watered down and not sweet. If it wasn't for the boba it would have been bland. However the crispy chicken with the sweet and sour sauce was delicious. I would definitely go back for the chicken appetizer and maybe try a different drink and hope their other options are a bit better.

I haven't been here in like a year and oh how I missed the mango green tea so much. It's all I really get here so if it's your first time here or don't know what to get, I think you should get that. It's also probably their most popular drink for a reason. There's a good amount of tables to sit and it's a nice setting for a boba spot. The service is really good here, my gf and I came in like 20 minutes before closing because we were in the area while they were mopping to close and still served us with no push back. There's also a lot of fundy's from CSULB clubs that happen here so that's cool too and could get packed quick.

This place was busy on a Saturday at 6:15. It was actually the fastest I've ever had a drink come out ever, but it just wasn't good. The boba itself wasn't good and the pudding was even worse. I won't come back if I want a drink. I haven't been to a Cha for tea since college 10 years ago, but it used to be the spot

Great Tea Shop! In addition to drinks, they serve food! A lot of great drinks on their menu, milk teas and others. I ordered three drinks to go. Matcha Latte with Boba, Passionfruit Refresher with Boba (very refreshing!), and a strawberry smoothie. Ww all.enjoyed our drinks! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The drinks were made very quickly. Definitely will be back!

I work in the area so I come here a lot. Love their lunch combo and appetizers. Very good price and good portion. My favorite is the crispy chicken. I probably tried everything on the menu: grilled chicken, orange chicken, dumpling, tofu, pork sausage, etc. They were all ok. I like their passionfruit tea (no sugar) and with boba.

Cha for Tea has a special place in my heart. There used to be a location near me, but now I have to make a drive just to have this nostalgic experience. I was in the area and this is my first time visiting this location in Long Beach. I came an hour before closing time and I must say this location is smelly from the parking lot all the way to the entrance. Not sure if it's from wastewater. I tolerated the awful scent, just for Iced apple green tea, Iced almond black milk tea with boba and crispy chicken medium spicy. The flavor is still the same all these years and I can only hope someone will open a location near me again.

Wow am I so sad :( this is the worst almond milk tea iv ever gotten from chat for tea it's not strong in flavor and taste like water. Not only that the grilled chicken plate is all fried ends not nice pieces of chicken :)

Very cute small place opposite the VA hospital. Great Boba and tea. Friendly service and decent price. I tried the crispy chicken spicy with rice, noodles and corn. The chicken was quite good, crunchy and tasty.

Cha For Tea !!!!!! Now I love y'all chicken but why tf yall portion get smaller n smaller everytime !!!!!!! N for the price is crazy

Food: This is a place I'd come by if I was in the area and hungry, not somewhere I'd venture out to. The milk teas have an artificial taste to them, matcha tasted very diluted. The food isn't bad just not great. I do enjoy the orange tofu plate with noodles and veggies. Parking: This cha for tea is located in a shopping plaza with multiple other food places/shops so parking is convenient. Service: Service is good and quick, food comes out at a reasonable time. Ambiance: Very casual vibes, next to the VA hospital so lots of hospital staff who come to grab to go food. Not the nicest area, several homeless individuals around this shipping plaza.

Some bomb Thai tea and our favorite almond milk tea. Can't go wrong with their almond milk tea

I came in on Saturday with my daughter to enjoy an early dinner. It was around 5pm, and not too many people were dining at that time. I dined in as part of the Yelp Elite Experience (YEE). They greeted me kindly, took my name down and sat us down at one of the small tables against the wall. The YEE include a ramen of my choice and a two-piece appetizer of crispy rice and spicy tuna. I opted for the tonkatsu ramen and ordered an additional one for my daughter even though I knew she wouldn't even finish half. Leftovers for me to enjoy later I also ordered a cranberry juice for her and the rooibos iced tea for myself. I very much enjoyed the iced tea and appreciated the menu recommending it as a perfect companion to ramen. Although it's unsweetened, it had a refreshingly natural sweetness to it. To my ramen, I added black garlic oil and chili paste. The broth was very delicious, flavorful and rich. I'm not a huge pork eater anymore, which I need to remind myself of. I did really enjoy my ramen, however, next time I'll have to try another protein, extra egg instead of pork or give the vegan ramen a try, for my own good. Thank you to our server Mel for being very sweet and patient with my daughter and me. She also explained the service fee very well. Heads up that there is an automatic 17.68% service charge added for dine-in orders. I believe I did see it mentioned on the menu, but the man who sat us (possibly a shift manager?) also pointed it out somewhat quickly. However, there was some confusion upon paying because I had explained to Melanie that I wanted to tip on what the total would have been without the promotion; that's just how I've been taught to tip regardless of there being a free or discounted item on the check. So I was adding it up on my phone to see what "I owed" for service. I confirmed that everything looked good on the receipt and she ran my card without the option of me being able to add an additional tip. Something about how most people won't pay more on top of the included service charge, which I get completely, but I felt bad because I got free items and wanted to leave a more comprehensive tip. I'll have to go back soon and try that vegan ramen and more of that tea

While HiroNori is a SoCal chain, it still feels like a mom and pop restaurant. The crispy rice with tuna was EXCELLENT! Everything you want from crispy rice and spicy tuna. The tonkatsu was delicious! Great depth of flavor. They bring you garlic and spicy paste on the side. I had to add A LOT of spicy paste to get it up to the level I wanted, but while at other restaurants I've lost the broth flavor when adding too much spice, the spicy paste just enhanced the tonkatsu broth. And the pork in the tonkatsu - truly next level. This is probably the best pork I've ever had in a ramen dish. The noodles were also fantastic with the perfect amount of bite. I loved my jammy egg as well. The restaurant itself is smaller, with fun lighting. There is a parking lot which is great.
