I usually don't drink boba unless my girlfriend gets one. but Cha for Tea is the first actual boba drink that I started taking alike to , the Honey Milk tea boba is not to sweet but has a perfect balance of tea and sweetness . This location just had a re model and in like a mall type of location a lot of younger crowd . The boba here are always super soft and fresh and from what I found out is they make new every few hours which explains a lot , most def my go to for sweet drink

Almond Green Milk Tea is my favorite drink at this location. Opt for less almond syrup pumps if you're wanting to adjust your level of sweetness. Flavorful.

Food & drinks are reasonable prices. The food combos are filling and good portion size. There may sometimes be a line, but it has never been a big issue.

Always a nice experience. The workers are so friendly and accommodating. Drinks are good. Our favorite is the almond milk tea here; hot and cold. And we love their crispy chicken bites.

The drinks are pretty decent here. I got the peach green milk tea and the almond black milk tea with bobas. The bobas was nice and chewy. I got the drink less sweet and the amount of sweeteners was perfect. Had I came here before ordering food prior, I would have been down to get their combo food deal where it comes with a boba drink. The price was reasonable and the service was quick. Place looks clean and inviting. They have small seating area inside but plenty of outdoor seating with the nice weather.

Delicious drinks at great prices! Cha for Tea is typically my last stop when I'm visiting my daughter. Our favorite is the mango green tea. I recently tried their honey green milk tea at the little tasting station and now I leave with not one but two drinks! As with most tea shops, you can adjust the level of sweetness. The employees are friendly - open late, fast service.

Give Alyssa a raise bc she has excellent customer service skills. I've been coming to Cha for a long time as a student, and this visit has been my favorite and most memorable. Alyssa was warm, friendly, quick and rlly made us feel taken care of. The food was great too xD! Highly recommend the mango cooler! They're running a promotion on it rn!

Solid spot for boba!! Although I only really ever get 2 drinks here--honey green milk tea and mango green tea, both with boba!!! LOVE that you can order online

CHA FOR TEA @ UC Irvine's University Center As a student, I was wowed on how close this was to UC Irvine's campus! My friend brought me here in the center telling me how amazing the boba here is. Parking is free for 2 hours and there is plenty of space in the lot. This place is my favorite, during my time in Irvine with my friend's family, I came here all three days straight, no joke and got the same thing. Their best seller Mango Green Tea with boba. It is FANTASTIC, and I cannot rave more about the pricing and how fresh their boba is. The price is no argument, with it only be less than $6 a drink, it's amazing. The service is great, there is samples for you to try and the workers are always kind and get your order so fast! The ambiance is bright and clean, so I'd highly recommend stopping by, this is by far my favorite place.

This place is so good. We got the extra spicy crispy chicken appetizer. It's a good amount for just $5.75! We also like getting the almond milk tea too. We noticed ordering from their website is much faster since lines can be insanely long. They offered many self-serve samples at the front by the register. It was a nice treat after waiting so long in line. The next time we visited, we did an online order. I saw on the online ordering that you can pick from their standard crushed ice or cubed ice. I'll try their cubed ice next time because I don't think I like crushed ice for boba drinks haha. Their sweet and sour sauce is an additional $0.20 charge, but it's pretty good! It looks and tastes different than most popcorn chicken places.

my GO TO boba spot in OC due to quality & price & location. food/drink: I ALWAYS get the Honey Green Milk Tea with boba. each and every time I've visited (20+ times over the years) the boba is alway Q (chewy, perfect, warm) and the tea is the same sweet tasty quality as the last. I've never been disappointed. PLUS before toppings, a large is under $5... where can you find this nowadays for this size and quality service: standard, nothing special or bad. ambiance: the outside area is nicer than the inside. inside needs a renovation but it's a standard looking boba shop. inside & outside both have more than enough seating. good area to walk around too. parking: SO much parking.

Inside

Outstanding experience and boba here. Upon entering they have a stand where you can sample some of their best selling drinks. This was a great way to try before committing to an entire drink. They have an extensive menu with many toppings to chose from and their prices are very reasonably priced. I ordered the lychee green tea with light ice and it was around $5 for a really great size. The drink wasn't too sweet, but if you prefer it less sweet you can also order it with 50% sugar as well. The location is in a very vibrant complex right on UC Irvine campus so it was nice being around a college campus and seeing it so lively. I would highly recommend this place to friends if you're in the area and looking for boba!

Large mango green tea w/ boba

Came here around 3PM with a group of friends and the line wasn't too bad at all. We probably waited about 5-7 minutes before placing our order. I was craving something refreshing so I went with the mango green tea w/ boba. While you're waiting in line, they have pitchers of some of their top drinks along with small sample cups. I tried the warm almond milk tea and the mango green tea - the almond milk tea tasted a bit too similar to almond jello for my taste. The mango green tea was solid, just a bit sweet, so I opted for 75% sweetness for my drink. The boba had a nice chewy consistency and the mango green tea was the perfect drink for a warm day. Will definitely return to Cha for Tea if I'm in the Irvine area again!

I like that it has vegan options, and opened late. I usually get the crispy tofu combo with a Mango green tea.

My group of 3 had the stir fry pork, scallion pancake, sauteed green beans, and mapo tofu. There were plenty of leftovers when we were done. Not too much table service because it's more of a quick service type place. I do wish that entreees came with white rice, you do have to order that on the side. But overall, really good!

The lamb skewers were juicy and perfectly seasoned with cumin, and the grilled beef tendon skewers had an amazing crispy, chewy texture. The soup dumplings were full of flavorful broth, and the braised beef knife-cut noodles were chewy with large, tender chunks of beef. We also tried the beef paomo for the first time--it was warm, comforting, and packed with rich flavor. Extremely Disappointing Experience - Service Has Gone Downhill…read more I've been coming to Everspring for quite some time and have always enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, the quality of service has declined significantly, and my most recent visit was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. There were no clean tables available, and I had to sit at a table with used utensils while the surrounding tables remained dirty. My order took over 30 minutes, and I could see my food sitting out unattended. When I approached the manager for assistance, I was completely ignored. I eventually had to ask a server to check whether the food sitting out was mine. By the time I received my order, it was cold. If you look at my review history, I generally leave positive feedback and always try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, this experience was unacceptable. It's disappointing because the food itself is genuinely good, but the service and lack of attention from management have overshadowed that. I've included photos to document my experience. Sadly, I won't be returning, and I can no longer recommend this restaurant to friends or coworkers. I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously because customers deserve better.

The staff were very friendly and helpful as I didn't know anything about biáng biáng noodles. After looking through the menu I decided a hot bowl of beef noodle soup would be perfect for the cold cloudy day. I also got a cucumber salad on the side that paired perfectly with the hot broth. The noodles in the soup were so soft with a perfect amount of chew. The broth had some sesame in it that gave it a creamy appearance and rich flavor. The beef chunks were nicely seasoned and cooked. Half of a hard boiled egg, cilantro, radish, and green onion rounded out the dish. I went with a medium spice which was perfect but I could've handled more. Next time I'll try it spicier. The cucumber salad was cold, crunchy, and fresh with a perfect kick on the back end. All in all a nice random lunch at a new spot I had never been to. I will certainly be back to try the biáng biáng noodles and their Asian burgers which looked intriguing!

First, we found…read moreout the restaurant is changing ownership, so there are a few things worth noting about the current dining experience. Some menu items are being discontinued, my rice came out cold, and a few of the decor choices seemed a little tacky. Meizhou is a great option for special occasions because the interior feels upscale and is one of the nicer-looking restaurants in the area. Today, we ordered the Sichuan Cold Noodles, Vegetable Fried Rice, Angus Beef Filet With Black Pepper, Chicken Pot-Stickers (six pieces), Dongpo Pork Belly With Preserved Vegetable, Garlic Stir-Fried A Choy and white rice. Unfortunately, the white rice came out cold, almost as if it had been sitting in the refrigerator. Thankfully, our server replaced it immediately, but it was still an odd experience. My favorite dish here is the Angus Beef Filet With Black Pepper. The meat is high quality, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. Meizhou is also well-known for its duck. We didn't order it today, but the half duck is always another great option! The meat practically melts in your mouth, which is one of my favorite things about it. Service has always been hit or miss here, so I think your experience really depends on which server you get. I love the food overall, although some dishes feel overpriced for the portion sizes. That said, the quality of the food is generally great. One last thing I noticed today, which isn't a huge deal but stood out to me, was a cup in the women's restroom containing a hairbrush, toothpaste and a toothbrush for customers to use. For a restaurant with such an upscale atmosphere, this felt a little out of place and tacky. Overall, Meizhou is definitely worth trying if you love duck or are looking for a nicer restaurant for a special occasion. I still enjoy the food here, but I'm curious to see how things change under the new ownership!
