I have not been to this arena since I believe it was named Royal Farms arena, but I had a good time here! Specifically it was for the Anthony Hamilton and Fantasia concert, but I had a great time. Getting to the arena was unproblematic - our car was registered for VIP parking and a suite for the show - which handling both were unproblematic. I again, enjoyed my time and wouldn't mind attending another event here. read more

My first experience at the CFG Bank Arena to see the Jonas Brothers was nothing less than positive! + Easy to get to with lots of parking options nearby + Large arena, but still felt quite intimate -- I could still feel the heat from the pyrotechnics on stage + We got box seats which were nothing too fancy, but it allowed us to get in and out easily + extra space to dance around + Staff is super friendly and efficient -- we got there about ten minutes to show time and we were checked in and in our seats literally a few seconds before the first act performed My only complaint was the amount of bathrooms available to patrons. The line of sight to the show was decent and appears to be pretty good from any seat I've purchased in that arena. This particular show was the 1st time I've ever encountered having to stand outside the arena doors for over an hour before being granted entrance into a show. There were several event staff members attempting to redirect the crowd and organize a line, but their efforts were too little too late and at a point where we really had no room to move. One of them was extremely rude and could have tried to handle the situation better. I did not have food and the one drink I tried to order, the bartender didn't have all ingredients. It's normally a decent visit but this one was very interesting. It's kid friendly (depending on the show of course) and the noise levels can definitely get up there. This is my second time attending a show at this new arena, which has changed names and owners many times. Entering there is a very good security scan. The bag policy kind of follows that of the Ravens Stadium of very small pouches that are bags because nothing can truly fit in the 4×6 in bag. But you can bring in see through bags. I attended a Disney on ice event and they did not allow anything other than what I specified. No diaper bags, no exception. They however, have lockers outside for the bags that are not allowed. The seats are still very close together and not comfortable. The staff were not so friendly. Our seats were on the floor section which were very nice and great view as they are like elevated so everyone has a great view of the stage. These seats are actually fold up chairs. However, they were ok for the toddler. At intermission, we trollied out to the concession stand for a bite to eat. I purchased a hotdog and a pretzel. The bread for the hotdog was stale and hard and the pretzel was like a brick. After standing in the line to purchase and walking with a toddler back to the seat and discover this I wad not pleased as I had to double back. I waited another 20+ minutes missing parts of the second half for a manager whom did nothing but take my info and said she will process a refund at the end of the night. Also their was no signs for the price of the food or items at none of the concession stands tonight. Seems a little odd. I was not pleased but I had to wait to see if this would occur. This place will always be the Baltimore Arena to me. I've been coming here since I was a child, to see the Circus or ice capades. I've also seen several concerts here. The last one was the Deftones... my twelfth Deftones show, to be exact. I love Chino Moreno. Lots of people selling bootleg concert tees out front. Decent price, but boring design, so I passed. The legit shirts inside were 5x more expensive and nothing magical so no shirt this time. We parked several blocks away because parking closer to the arena was $50 and we didn't have that kind of money. It was an interesting walk to and from the arena, in the dark. There were people peeing, being high, you know, doing life. I've wandered the city enough to not be threatened by these activities but I also know a lot of skittish people who would be super uncomfortable in those kinds of spots. Im pretty sure there was someone living in the parking garage we used. The arena is nice. We had good seats, all the way back, center of the stage. We didn't bother with food or drinks because I gave up drinking alcohol and I refuse to pay that much for fries. My main gripe is that there seems to be only one elevator. And it's tiny and there's an arena employee seated inside, to push the buttons. Why can't grown adults push the buttons themselves? Who knows. But the employee takes up half the elevator, so only a couple of people can fit inside, and with my wheelchair that number is even less. That doesn't stop impatient people from jumping on, like they're just going to ride on my lap. It's a decent place in a bad area. Went here to see Disney on ice. The parking garage on the third level has an egntrance into the arena. The seats are packed together with not much room. Helps feeling closer to the show in section 121 row L. The show started exactly on time. I would not get here early as there's nothing to do around the arena. Well, I like it. I don't love it. I've been visiting this property since the 80's when it was called The Civic Center so, I've experienced quite a few name changes, and remodeling projects. This current remodeling and update. The most expensive. Awful. I swear no 2 seats are the same as far as comfort, height, etc. An architect somewhere thought to remove the walls leading from hallway to the arena, and replace w windows curtains. Ineffective. Less food vendors, but quality. I do appreciate that. Better artists have been visiting, and we've been having better sporting events. I have came to this venue for years.....really since childhood. This new remodel is not my favorite at all. I came here for the soft opening a few years ago and was able to speak directly to some of the investors which I expressed the need for a jumbo tron to see the artist better if your seats are further away. I was told from one investor that there are jumbo scenes on the outside of the building which has nothing to do with the inside. The next investor told me he has great seats here and he has already invested a lot of money into the remodel so the artist can bring their own jumbo scenes for their performances. Unfortunately, since visiting after the soft opening the seats are extremely tight and uncomfortable for taller guest. The venue is shaped in a box so, it is very difficult to see a show if you are sitting on the sides. My knees literally runs up on the seat in front of me without room at all. There is a lounge/nightclub on the first floor. The bathrooms are decent. Please use a small clutch or clear purse to make entering the venue easier. There are parking lots around and public transportation available as well. I will return because this is my local ve read more

What a cool venue! I never go to concerts so it was neat to come here with my friend. The building is huge and nicely laid out. The staff on the other hand... they are not the friendliest or most helpful. I didn't realize there was a small bag policy and the small purse I had was 2 inches too big from their measurement. They weren't friendly about informing me where to go for the lockers and even when I tried asking if they could just check it since it was still so small. Besides the unfriendly staff, the concert was amazing. Great music, fun lights, and hyped crowd. I would come back here again if there's another band I'm interested in checking out. read more

If you've been in Baltimore for a while or are from here, you probably know CFG as something else (I feel like it's had five names), but I just went for my first time for a comedy show (Nate Bargatze). It's sort of weird - an area where no sports teams play (and haven't for a very long time, I think). And it's sort of just a big box with seats, with the walls painted black. The comedian that opened might have made a few jokes implying he didn't think the space was so great (it does kind of feel like a cinder block cave). But the seats are new. And it seemed like almost all the seats would have good views. And the vendors for food and drinks were surprisingly good. I really don't like the area. It's too close to where the Orioles play; our show was also a home game which made parking outrageous); there are almost no good places to eat in the area (we ate at home rather than eating at anything around the arena); and you have to drive downtown (groan). We paid $45 to park in a nearby garage. I think that's way too much for Baltimore, but it was a game night nearby. By the time we got there and learned the price, it was too late to find someplace else to park (we didn't have time to inch through 72 more red lights downtown). But heads up if you don't want to pay that amount to park further away, especially if there's a game (we're not baseball people and it didn't even occur to us to think about the Orioles' schedule). And I assume most people think about this now - but the tiny bags or plastic see through bag policy has spread from sports arenas to other places, like a horrible virus. Even though you'll go through a metal detector, they are not going to let you bring a normal sized purse in. They'll spot it outside and tell you to pay even more money (I think he said $12) to put your things in a locker nearby or return to your car to leave it there. We saw a few people walking back to garages with purses in hand. It's annoying, and I recommend googling all venues' policies now (because I'm seeing this more and more). Anyway, I guess CFG is fine. I'd go if someone I really like is there. But I assume that won't happen often, since it took me 4+ years to go. read more

The train will drop you outside of Camden yards and it's about a 3-5 minute walk from there! So easy. The staff were very friendly helping me find my section and seating. Let's start with the good: the renovations are awesome and there's really not a bad seat in the house (except for the back of the floor). Acoustics are great and the seats are spacious. Food and drink options are decent (while expensive, but so is every concert venue.) Where things get bad is the staff. Every interaction I've had with staff and security here has been awful!!! They're rude or unhelpful or just plain MEAN! From being unclear which door to enter in, to being rude when searching bags (it took a long time because there was only 1 person searching bags so they were piling up because they were rushing us through the metal detector, so a line around the bags formed and several security guards were yelling at people to back up but there was no room and only 1 person searching the pile of bags???) Then when we were in the merch line, people would cut under the rope because they went back so far that it was easier to go under, and again, a security guard kept screaming at people but then walking away instead of standing near the back of the line to direct people to go around??? It made no sense and gave very stressful chaotic vibes with people getting screamed at left and right. The security team really needs to reevaluate their processes--I understand that your job is to keep people safe, but the logistics of team placement and also etiquette is extremely poor. Once when we were leaving in frigid December we were trying to go to the bathroom before our Uber arrived so we didn't have to stand out in the cold--and again, team members screamed at us that we had to exit the building (meanwhile the concert wasn't even over yet.) I have never had similar experiences at any other concert venue. I really wish the visitor experience was better because it would make CFG an incredible venue. read more

CSC Event staff finally got it right 10 minutes after the doors were scheduled to be opened. People were directed to opposite sides of the venue at the last minute if they did not have floor seats. Once inside, the ushers were very helpful in getting guest to their seats. Concession lines were short and food and drinks were hot, cold and ready to go. After a first visit, I'll be sure to know the rules of parking ($65 and $40 less than 2 blocks apart). I got the $40 parking right across the street from this venue. Seating is very tight! The renovations at CFG arena are superb! I have been here for about 5/6 events in the last 2 years or so and they have always been just fine. However on my last visit, I felt the operation of the Fearless Club was just out of whack. It's a smack in the face to charge extra for upgrades that cannot be pulled off properly. The doors did not open up on time, over 30 minutes late actually--- good thing they opened up just before the rain. Then the ticket readers were still not working once the doors finally opened, so more confusion. At past events, drink tickets were given out, but turns out they had been "doing it wrong" and we shouldn't have gotten the drink tickets, so we did not get drink tickets this go round. Also the seats near the suite area seem to be packed in tighter than other areas I have sat in. I could barely fit in the space and other complained of being bunched up. There are also no cup holders, which has always been very weird and doesn't make me want to buy any refreshments. read more

Attended The Boy is Mine Tour with my mom and we had a really great time. The entry process was well organized and the staff was very pleasant. The sound was clear and the place was clean. Food and drinks were great! My only issue is the seating. The seats are so tight and bunched up. We paid for VIP seats in the 121 section and it was tight!!! My knees were on the back of someone's neck! And someone's knees were on the back of mine! I really don't know how bigger people were able to sit stand or even move at all in there. "It's tiiiiiiiiiiiiiime" From my quote above, I visited CFG Bank Arena to see Mariah Carey Christmas concert. Overall, I thought the arena was fine - it was not the best place that I've seen a show, but it definitely was not the worst. While obviously concerts are held here, I think this arena is more suited for sporting events just based on the layout. I say this because if you do not have seats close to the stage, you have to rely on only one "jumbo" screen in the middle of the arena. Before purchasing tickets, one should take that into consideration. In the 100 section, I thought the seats were ok. Having visited serval large concert and sporting venues, I expected the seats to be somewhat tight. I'm 5'9'', and I thought the seats were fine - they were not super tight, but they were not super spacious. However, they might be a bit tight for taller folks. While seating was not too tight, it might be a bit of a pain leave your seat (e.g., for a bathroom) break when other folks are sitting in the row. I was sightly annoyed that the seats did not have cup holders (I'm not a fan of putting my beverages on the ground), but it is what it is. Overall, I thought the sound and visual quality was average compared to other concert venues that I've visited in the past. I thought entering the area was pretty straight forward, and the staff did a good job keeping the lines moving. While there are some considerations for bringing a bag, it's highly recommended that you check out their website to get more information about bag size/limits. I noticed there were quite a few people who were upset because they either had to rent a locker for $15 for their bags or take their bags back to their cars. If possible, it's best to travel without the bag to avoid any confusion and annoyance. While there was clearly an up charge on food and beverages (as one would expect), I did not think the food and drink prices were too bad for a concert venue. Beers and water were around $15 and $6, respectively. I will say that I was quite impressed by the selection of beers sold at CFG because they had quite decent IPAs. Uff! Deep into the concert, I learned that there was an actual bar, but I did not venture to find it since I did not want to miss more of the show. I guess this information is good to know for next time. Event parking at the arena was about $55. However, if you are willing to walk 10+ minutes, you definitely can find cheaper options nearby. We found a garage that charged $15, which clearly is significantly less than $55. Since I had a pretty decent experience at GFC Bank Arena, I definitely see myself visiting again especially because the ticket prices (of course this review is based on an N of 1) were a bit cheaper than DC's Capital One Arena. read more

This is legitimately the worst arena or stadium in Maryland. We attended a Washington Mystics game here (twice in 2025), and while the games were fun, the venue is terrible. To start, several staff members are have attitude issues even when asking simple questions (like where is the bathroom). Worse though is the ridiculous prices on concessions. Right across the street M&T Bank and Camden Yards' beer prices are $5 - $12. Pretzels are around $8. Popcorn is $6. SECU Stadium's beer prices are $8.50, popcorn is 4.50, pretzels are $5. But at CFG, $21 for a beer. Over $10 for a pretzel. Every single price for every single concession is aggressively anti fan. I don't plan on returning to this arena. I'd rather just make the trip down to DC. read more

We saw Stevie Nicks here and it was damn near full sellout. Who doesn't love her?! I liked this arena. Very nicely laid out, easy to find your way with tons of entrances and signage and staff around to answer questions and tons of various entrances from the street to keep the traffic down. It was well-staffed with so many people - they had this run as a well oiled machine. You could always find someone to ask a question to and get pointed in the right direction. We had seats in the 108 second floor section but had a great, unobstructed view of the stage as the seats are all staggered, which is nice. What was a really nice touch was the use of the self-service, grab-n-go food items. They had some refreshment areas with drinks, alcohol, snacks like cookies and popcorn and candy as well as some sandwiches and Cobb salads (which looked surprisingly good), and you grabbed it and walked up to a self-checkout. No lines, it was running smoothly. Additionally, they had some hot food places doing the same things with fries and chicken sandwiches. Amazing! It was really running smoothly. We easily found our seats and restrooms as needed and had no issues. Really enjoyed the show and the arena has great sound. Seating is tight... you're really packed in and there is no room to walk in front of people, they basically have to get up and move... but otherwise it's ok once you're seated. I came with my family to see Nick Cannon Wild n Out show. We've been before to see the show and it was great. HOWEVER! This time in our section and literally all around the arena people were smoking weed! It was multiple people in my section and on the floor smoking and you could see all the clouds around the arena. I told one of the ushers and they looked for a second and walked away. Smoking anything is NOT legal in Baltimore indoors! I will not be returning to this ghetto venue. My family and I left the concert early because of this. I'm just so disappointed, this venue has drastically changed. I contacted customer service and have not heard back from anyone. This is just sad and this was supposed to be a family friendly show! Also, the food prices were mislabeled on the menu, I was charged more than what was posted for my drinks and food, they never updated the menu. read more

I've been here a few times since the renovations and CFG Bank Arena is... okay. The space is nice and new - it definitely has that "new arena" look and feel. But the seats are tight and there are no cup holders. I'm not that big of a person, and even my knees were pressed up against the seats in front of me in the 100s section. Some of the seats are also obstructed from stairs/rails, despite being labeled as a "clear view" on Ticketmaster (side seats in Section 214 or similar, beware). They have a strict clear bag/small clutch policy. You will have to put your big non-clear bags back in your car, rent a locker, or throw it out. There's plenty of parking garages around Baltimore. If you don't mind walking, I like booking a garage further from the venue to make a quick escape out of the city after the concert. Floor seats have a specific entrance but there's no real communication about which doors to use other than security guard word of mouth. Entrance into the venue is a little funky too in that you go through security and then go up some ramps before scanning your ticket. There are overhead signs on the ramps to direct you to your levels, but section labeling could be more visible. We were in Section 106 and it was hard to find where the numbers were - turns out, they were printed on the sides of the black curtains. The 200-level sections were easier to navigate. Ushers were positioned at each section to help direct you to your seats the first time you enter. But if you seem to know where you're going, there wasn't much "bouncing"' going on aside from floor seats. Bathroom lines can queue up right before the headliner, but the lines move quickly and supplies are constantly being restocked. There's no restrooms on the lower concourse (100 Sections), so you have to go up or down a level. I did appreciate that water fountains were easy to locate. The concessions that they have for sale are mostly grab-and-go. The food we got was tasty but it is pricey (but to be expected at arenas where no outside food and drink are allowed). Tiny French bread pizzas (less than 6" in length) are $6-$7 ($6 for cheese; $7 for pepperoni). A small chicken sandwich was $15. They also had burgers, fries, salads, chicken wings ($14), Philly cheesesteaks ($17), popcorn, pretzels. It's also a cashless venue but they have kiosks where you can load up a cashless card. Reliable WiFi was available in the arena, which is helpful when service can be spotty in large crowds. They also had charging stations available for rent. Even before the renovations, I wasn't impressed with their screen set-up. After the renovations, my opinion has not changed. I honestly don't know what's up to the venue vs. what's up to the performer in terms of screen placement/usage, but when performers rely only on CFG's small center-hung scoreboard as the primary screen, I hope you brought your binoculars if you didn't buy seats close to the stage. I would say I still prefer Capital One Arena more for events, but overall, CFG Bank Arena is a decent indoor venue, and it's not going away anytime soon. read more

Great location. Walkable from many hotels. Once inside, seating was really intimate. More than 60% of seating I'd consider to be phenomenal as far as proximity to the stage. Unfortunately, hallways are really tight, some concession areas are themed so they don't carry the same items (a positive and a negative depending on how far you're willing to walk for a specific item). My major issue with this venue was the lack of effort to enforce the smoke free policy. Like- zero effort was made to a very obvious violation of their policy. They want proof of offender. Who am I, Matlock? I have to take a photo of the offender(s) vaping for the facility to admit not only do they see the cloud of smoke hanging over one section AND smell the same smoke I do. Went to see Stevie Nicks here a couple of weeks ago and had a great time! We got amazing seats in the wing to the right of the stage which gave us an excellent view of the show. My advice would to get seats to the left or right of the stage and avoid floor seats unless you are really close to the front. I don't know how anyone on the floor could see anything with thousands of heads directly in front of them! Bathrooms were clean and well equipped with soap, toilet paper, and paper towels. We ate dinner before the show so did not get any concessions but they seemed to have the normal selection of snacks for a music venue. Getting to our seats was fine as we got there during the opener but leaving the stadium took longer than expected. The show was sold out (or very close to sold out) and everyone stayed until the very last song because... it's Stevie Nicks. So everyone was funneling out at the same time making it a tad claustrophobic. Not sure what can be done to fix this BUT we had a great time and will be back for future shows. read more

Came into Baltimore for a concert here at the CFG Bank Arena, and it has a lot of pros and cons. Parking is where you find it around the venue and don't expect it to be cheap. Building entry can be confusing depending on your seats. Before you attend anything here, check the bag size limits as they do enforce them, and there are metal detectors. Staff throughout the venue were extremely professional. CFG Bank Arena's interior can be confusing to navigate due to the layout. We had seats in the upper decks and it took some time to get up there. Food and beverage were average, with Burgers, Fries, Chicken Fingers, and all bottled beverages. Prices were what you'd expect to find. Bathrooms were nice and kept reasonably clean. The interior view was good from our seats, with the seats having enough leg room, but not enough room between other seats. The layout was also weird with some stairways only going halfway up to the seats. Acoustics were reasonably good. Towards the end of the concert, you either need to leave before the encore or accept you will be trapped in traffic for an hour, so make that decision before arriving. We saw Hans Zimmer here in February. The ticketing staff was quick and efficient. Every single staff member we encountered was nice and willing to help you whether it was finding seats or getting food. Very professional arena and I'd definitely return for another event. read more

Dissapointing venue. Went here just over a year ago for a 50 Cent Concert. Food and drink options are very limited and staff and security are inconsistent. We got our clear bag in fine but they asked about our prescription meds and our friend took another one of our same bags that we got in a two pack and they tried to make her return it to her car until she allowed them the policy that allowed clear bags that size. View was clear but the staff seemed to tolerate people standing around our accessible seating section which meant a beer got knocked over so we lost money and got another one we could only get a small discount for. People seemed to get away with smoking tabaco and weed too. read more

Great venue for a graduation, very spacious, plenty of food kiosk, and most of all very professional staff, it's good to see that great places still exist. read more

Babbbbby when I tell you I enjoyed every minute of, I did JUST that!!! I came from Dallas to Maryland to take my sister to this concert. The staff here was so nice and pointed us in the correct spot, the restrooms were clean, the sound/visuals were crisp and the vibe was ALL that!!! My only issue was how close the seats were, especially when you have people who are curvy (like myself). A great spot for this concert. read more

April 2023 The arena underwent renovations in 2022 and the first grand re-opening performance was for Bruce Springsteen on April 7. The renovations include state-of-the-art acoustics, premium seating, superior suites and exclusive club levels, a new exterior facade, grab and go market, self-checkout kiosks, and much more. My hubby, his sister and her boyfriend both from Florida, and I came for the Springsteen concert. It's been a few years since my husband and I have been here since covid. The minute we arrived, I noticed several updates immediately from the new signage to the patio seating and the turf. It's more inviting before entering indoors compared to the previous ownership. They have grab and go refreshments including cold beverages, popcorn, candy, and chips, which can be paid at the self-serve checkout. My sister-in-law liked the smaller venue as she said it was more intimate than the venues in Orlando. She said the acoustics, which was one of the upgrades from the renovation, were fantastic! Her boyfriend, however, described the venue as dingy and that the common areas were narrow. One personal change that would make my experience better is if the venue were slightly cooler. Otherwise, the renovations are a big improvement from the former venue known as Royal Farm Arena. read more
