Local ceva logistic office does not respond, main office tells me Austin location overwhelmed and my package sits there on a truck for weeks now... they are sorry, they will escalate my case... yada yada - nothing is done! I made purchase from Houzz (big heavy sideboard), and I will never purchase from this retailer again since they use shady shippers like ceva logistics. Finally get an answer on day 5 and was informed that my furniture had been there 5 days, but they did Not have anyone to unload the truck so that they could check it in to the warehouse, in order to schedule my delivery. I don't understand why Costco, being such a great company, continues to use this terrible company Ceva Logistics. They are worse than terrible! Three deliveries in the past three years and they screwed up every time. The last one being today: The order was scheduled to arrive today between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM. They called at 5:00 AM (yes, five o'clock in the morning!) to let me know they'd be here at 9:00 AM. They showed up at 7:45 AM and refused to place the item inside the garage. "We are not supposed. We are not supposed!" That's all the driver had to say. But that is not Ceva's definition of "threshold delivery". From their website: "Deliveries will be protected from the weather by placing them inside the closest dry area (porch, garage or inside the closest door of the dwelling)." As the photo shows, the box was not placed *inside* the garage. Calling the company is a complete waste of time so I called Costco, they were excellent about this, as usual. They apologized and offered a compensation, which I was happy to get but I'd be much happier if she had said that Costco will no longer do business with Ceva. read more

Jesus h, I've never felt compelled to write a yelp review until I dealt with Ceva. Ffs, this is the worst company ever! I originally made a schedule appointment when my Costco tv arrived in town from Ceva about a week earlier. I made my appointment for the soonest possible delivery which happened to be a week later. With constant email and text reminders, I was excited about my tv delivery. After all its a 65" inch tv and I don't have a car big enough to haul it in. Fast forward to the night prior and I get two texts at 8:47 pm changing my delivery window from 1-5 pm to 10 am-2 pm. An hour and a half later I get an email reminding the same. Now it's short notice, 13 hours to be exact and the email says there's no rescheduling and don't even bother replying. Screw it, I was taking the whole day off work anyway. I get up early and I'm up to make sure my phones available and more importantly I'm ready for my delivery. 2 pm comes and goes without so much as a text or a call saying hey we're running late. Doesn't matter, I'm a reasonable guy. In my head I'm thinking there must be some kind of mix up, maybe the driver just got the old paper work and didn't realize my delivery window had changed. I don't want to call it in and get somebody in trouble so I wait. And I wait. I go online and I find their website and it says they'll usually call 30 minutes before they arrive... I don't actually call Ceva until 4 pm my time. They say my tv is on the truck and definitely will be delivered today but there's no drivers notes or anything. She'll get in touch with dispatch and contact the driver and somebody will reach back to me. Before business day closes. It's now 5:30 pm and still no delivery. I call Ceva only to find out their office is now closed. I try calling both numbers that have been texting me with reminders and neither one is in service. I finally call Costco and after a 17 minute wait time speak to a customer service rep. Yes I'm sorry, Ceva's phone system went down and emails are being generated automatically. Right now we're just making tickets for all customers with delivery complaints. Seeing as how I've already called they'll be making an "escalated" ticket on my behalf. Should I stay home and continue to wait for this delivery? No your obligation was fulfilled with the original delivery window between 10-2. Somebody in management will reach you. I make and eat dinner at this point. And since I already got rid of my old TV, I've nothing to watch tonight so I decide to go to bed. I get a knock on my door just past 9 pm. With a tv delivery. I ask wtf and he says something about making 40 deliveries today, including some white glove. Sounds like BS but whatever. He shoves the invoice in my face asks me to sign. I'm half asleep but I realize I'm signing a paper saying I've received my delivery intact and undamaged. I go wait, let's check out the tv first. And he reassures me all their tv's are packed securely and strapped. At this point I just want my tv and go back to bed so I sign before I set get the tv. I follow him to the truck and I find my tv resting at a 45° angle on two other tv's in the truck. Not strapped at all or anything. There's minor damage on the box. I put my tv away and didn't unpack it. It's now Wednesday and I'm writing this on my break. I'm anxious to go home and finally unpack my tv. I'm afraid it might be damaged, but I'm hoping it's not. I ordered a movie screen through Amazon from Elite Screens who promptly sent it to Ceva for shipment. In 4 days it was shipped to a Ceva warehouse 2.3 miles from my house and sat there for 3 months. I logged 3 issues with Ceva directly with no response. I then cancelled the order with Amazon and re-ordered the same screen (which shipped with a different logistics company). My new screen arrived 4 days later and i'm fat and happy! 3 months later a random film screen shows up on my porch... Ceva had seen fit to dig it out of mothballs and send it to me. I took a day off of work to be home for this delivery that required a signature. I was given a delivery timeframe of 9-5. At 4, I called the colony to see if my package was still be delivered. Customer service assured me it was. The driver called shortly thereafter and told me he'd be making the delivery by 4:30. At 5 I called back asking if he's still coming and he yelled at me saying he'd be here in "5". He didn't show until 6 and I missed my daughter's dance class as a result. If he was upfront with me I Could made my daughters dance class and still made it back in time. I received nothing but attitude from the driver. Additionally, the package arrived damaged... It's difficult for me to review this company. On the one hand, my TV arrived undamaged. On the other hand, it took exactly a month to receive my TV. I ordered it May 20. The expected delivery date was June 1. It arrived on June 20. Also, CEVA didn't deliver my package. It's also difficult to review this company as a minimum of three other companies were involved in the transaction. Those companies were: Walmart, Newegg, and AMS (Albuquerque Moving & Storage). I purchased the TV off Walmart's website. It was sold and shipped by a 3rd party (Newegg). Newegg's chosen carrier was CEVA. As others have said, trying to figure out where your package is at any given time is baffling, at best. The tracking updates provided seem to be strictly arbitrary. Also, my package originated from Indianapolis. However, online it showed Indinapolis. Sure, the spelling error isn't a major thing, but it's still unprofessional. I got one tracking update most days until May 30, where it supposedly reached the Dallas airport. There it sat...and sat...and sat. I reached out to Walmart after it was late. They told me to contact Newegg. I did. Nearly 48 hours later I was given a website and phone number. The site was useless. It informed me that I couldn't set up delivery online, as I live in a limited delivery area. Bottom line...if you aren't a business, CEVA won't be delivering to you. They use a third party to reach the end user. That phone number was abysmal. It was just a generic robotic voice looping the same lines over and over with no music to listen to. Honestly, I didn't think anyone would answer. Also, I didn't think I could stand to hold. After about 5 minutes a woman picked up. I could hear paperwork being rattled. I expected to get hung up on. I wasn't, but she seemed stressed. She cut me off when explaining I hadn't received my delivery yet, saying "We have an agent in Albuquerque." She gave me his number, but suggested I wait another day before contacting him. I did, and the package still hadn't arrived. I attempted to call the 'agent'. I reached a voicemail that said nothing more than, "Sorry [we] aren't available to take your call. Please leave a message." There was no indication of who I was actually calling. I left a message, but I wasn't called back. So, I had to reach out to Newegg again. Whatever they did got results. Suddenly, the package was moving again, and I got an automated call detailing the delivery day/time. It arrived when it was supposedly to. The AMS driver asked if I wanted it dropped by the curb or carried up. I asked for it to be carried upstairs. I helped him carry it to my second floor apartment, and I gave him a $10 tip. I would definitely be leery if I saw a shipment coming via CEVA, going forward. However, using them wouldn't be out of the question for me. But, I likely wouldn't be comfortable putting them in charge of delivering an expensive purchase again ($1,400 TV). It's too nerve racking for that much time to pass without getting what you paid for or your money back. read more

Ceva was hired to deliver an order I placed through Lowes Home Improvement. Ceva has been a nightmare to deal with. They claim they delivered a front door to my home, but they did not. Their "photo" they claim shows delivery is just a blurry photo of a steering wheel. I have called time after time and they claim there are no notes, that the dispatch individual is not there, that they will research, that they will call me back, etc. The excuses are endless. Meanwhile, I have been charged for an item that was never delivered. I've been on hold for hours (often they just don't answer the phone). Very suspect behavior. Just an absolute horrible experience from the start. Item was shipped on 4/8/21 Arrived on Atlanta loading dock at 4/12/21 and no one ever called to schedule delivery! So I finally reached out the 14th and they said they could deliver on the 15th but someone had to be home and sign for it. So I stayed home and received a notice my delivery time was from 10am till 5pm. at 4pm I started calling because I was told I would get a 30 minute call ahead so I was going to be proactive since I sat around waiting on my package for 7hrs. Was on the phone for 35minutes just ringing with no one ever picking up! I called every CEVA Logistics number in each state on the east cost with no luck on anyone picking up! I called Amazon and told them I did choose this shipper they did so you call and find out what's going on. Some how they picked up the phone for Amazon and the person at Ceva told Amazon they were still out delivering and running behind, but guarantee delivery today.. Guarantee no later than 7:30pm. I found out the reason for the 7:30 because that is 30minutes past the time they are closed and wouldn't answer the phone when Amazon called back when I called them back at 7:30 to report the item still hasn't arrived. As you can see in the photo on 4/16/21 at 6:30 am as I am typing this the item has yet to appear and still shows out for delivery for the 15th.. What a crappy tracking service, What a crappy customer service to the end customer. What a worthless company that refuses to answer the phone. There really isn't anything positive to say about this company. Hi CEO: Mathieu Friedberg why don't you come down out of your ivory tower and read some of these reviews of folks getting screwed over by your employees lack of following through. Received a 72" vanity today. Driver didn't communicate at all, and dropped the product in my driveway ahead of severe thunderstorms and hail this afternoon. I ran to the street to request that the item be placed in my home. Also reminded him that the order included delivery to a specific room. This is the most inept shipping company I have ever encountered. I ordered a TV from Amazon and it was shipped on Apr 3 from Salt Lake City, Utah which is about 900 miles from the delivery destination. From there CEVA shipped my TV to Denver, CO, then to LA area, then to Portland, OR, then back to LA area, then to Sacramento, CA - that's over 3000 miles, absolutely ridiculous. I then got an email from CEVA that stated my shipment would be delivered on the 14th. I took the day off and the delivery service was a no-show. I checked the CEVA tracking info and then it said devivery would be on the 15th. I waited all day and again they were a no-show. I posted a query to CEVA as to why I didn't get my shipment and the replied that because I live in an area they don't service they had transferred my shipment to a local delivery service. My response was, so what, that sounds like something that delivery companies do regularly so why didn't you inform me of this before I took the day off work - no response. I then called the number of the "local delivery company" that CEVA had provided for further tracking information (which, by the way, turned out to also be CEVA in Sacramento) and they told be that they didn't have a driver that could go to my area. Now I'm really getting irritated, I live on a major highway and they don't have a way to deliver??? The CEVA rep. stated that the person that needed to schedule my delivery was not in the office that day and they took my phone number (which they obviously already had) and promised to call me back the next day with a delivery schedule. They never called back. So I called them again and they gave me the same story about not being able to deliver. At this point my package had been held hostage for over a week and I was getting nowhere speaking with CEVA so I decided to get Amazon involved. Amazon then contacted CEVA to try to get some results and CEVA said that they would call me the next day with a schedule. CEVA never called! I again contacted Amazon and this time we set up a three way call between Amazon, me, and CEVA. I gave the CEVA rep. a rundown of the issue and all the missed delivery dates and miscommunications and they pretty much didn't have anything to say except that they would really watch my delivery. When I asked when I would receive my delivery the CEVA rep. said they didn't know. At this point I had run out of patience and asked the Amazon rep. to cancel the order. Amazon beautifully handled everything from there coordinating the shipment transfer back to Amazon and proptly processing my refund. This is a long sad story that turned out okay in the end because Amazon handled it. As for CEVA, I will never use them as a shipper in the future. I will check to see who the shipper is and I will refuse to buy a product that uses CEVA as a shipper. read more

Oh wow. Do I have a doozy for you. I ordered a couch from Amazon to be delivered today. It is a larger couch, but this apartment complex has many people with bigger couches. I paid for the ROOM OF CHOICE delivery which includes two flights of stairs, because I live on the third floor. I received a knock on my door and was greeted with an agitated man. The CEVA Employee informed me that my couch is here. I cleared a path and told him that is my room of choice. He then got even more irritated and said that the couch did not fit in the elevator. I pulled up the ROOM OF CHOICE agreement I had paid for, and I showed him where it included two flights of stairs. I asked to speak with his manager about the agreement and he spouted back that he was the manager, and nobody was above him. Then the CEVA employee went back downstairs. When he returned, I reiterated that my living room is my ROOM OF CHOICE. He then said the couch did not fit in the stairs. So, I went with him. At this point he was furious. It was a tight fit, but I am pretty sure I could have shimmied it along and made it work. He kept saying he was going to scratch the walls. At this point the apartment manager came out. He saw this and promptly started berating her. She stated that couches of this size had gone up before, and maybe we could vault it then go up the stairs. The CEVA employee was not there to hear or listen to any help. He kept arguing that I had not paid for white glove service, and that he would not honor my ROOM OF CHOICE agreement. I showed my apartment manager the order and the agreement. The CEVA employee then went on to say it only includes two flights of stairs and I was on the third floor, so it is out of agreement. But I tried to explain basic math to him that from 1 to 2 is one flight and 2 to 3 is the second flight... so that is two flights. He took time to calculate in his head and realized his error on this small item. The building manager then asked why not open the box and move it that way. The CEVA employee got especially angry at this suggestion and told her he can't open a box without White Glove service. The interesting part here is that he never offered for me to purchase this White Glove Service he just kept saying I did not have it. After being yelled out senselessly by this CEVA employee, my building manager tried to show him the other stairwells. The CEVA employee continued his verbal assault on her and the other front office employee. I asked him for his name and a business card. The CEVA employee informed me that he did not have any cards and refused to give me his name. He then stormed outside to call his manager, that he denied having earlier. I used this time to call Amazon and talk through my options. She confirmed I had purchased ROOM OF CHOICE delivery, and that it did include two flights of stairs. At this point the CEVA employee and his cohort stormed back into the lobby informing me that they would not be delivering it, and that I would be receiving a call. I was already talking with Amazon, so I just waited. They stole my couch from the lobby, loaded it onto the truck, and left the property. So now there is a rogue delivery truck with a CEVA employee who stole my couch rolling around Florida. I filed an official complaint with Amazon, and I am thinking of contacting the police. I have informed Amazon that I do not want these CEVA employees ever on our property again as they posed a threat to security of me and our property manager. Their actions ruined my experience of getting a new couch. I hope nobody else had to experience this specific CEVA employee or CEVA at all if they continue to allow this sort of behavior to persist. This company is probably one of, if not THE worst shipping company I have ever dealt with. Ordered a new PTAC style air conditioner unit and they were the carriers for the delivery. Guaranteed to deliver in 3 days. 4 days later still no delivery, much less ANY data on the tracking ID, so I contact them and they haven't even picked the item up from the supplier. The Manager spoken to, Matt, said that one of his employees never showed up on the day it was meant to be picked up, so the package was still at the supplier. He said it would be picked up the next morning (Tuesday) and would be delivered absolutely on Friday. Friday came and nothing... at least this time when I checked the tracking ID the item had been picked up. That morning. New Shipping date for Wed next week. I checked my tracker again this evening Sunday evening since it had been a few days, and the item STILL has not left the original location it was picked up from. According to it, they never even left the facility after picking it up for shipping. I don't know if this is a tracking bug or not, but if true I am starting to doubt that I will be getting this AC anytime this week. So far though I am at almost 2 weeks since promised delivery and still nothing in this 100+ degree weather. ZERO stars. Ordered a TV from Costco who uses Ceva as their preferred (and only) delivery company. Scheduled the delivery for about a week out. Was contacted by Ceva the night before the delivery stating they had to reschedule. I was given several choices and verbally agreed to a 2-6pm time slot another week out due to issues with my schedule. Never received a confirmation email on my rescheduled time slot/date. The day OF delivery, I received an email reminding me that my delivery was that day and stated a 12-4pm time slot. Unsure if I heard the verbal time slot incorrectly or was given incorrect times, I rearranged my schedule to be home for SIX HOURS. At 5:37pm I received a call from the delivery driver stating they would be there in 15 minutes. Guys show up at 5:59pm. No big deal about the 15 minute estimate being off but a big deal that I had waited for this delivery for SIX HOURS. Guys carry TV into the house. One guy sets down his end. The other guy proceeds to drag the TV six feet across my brand new wood floor. Before I had a chance to stop him, I saw the scratch. A rock was embedded in the styrofoam of the end being drug across the floor. One foot of scratch for every delivery hour waited. NICE. Was given supervisor's phone number. Have called daily and left messages - no one has called me back. Great trade off - thousands of dollars of damage to my floor for a $1600 TV. Avoid using this company at all costs. read more

I wanted to share my experience with Ceva since I, upon reading these reviews, expected the worst. I ordered a grill and Amazon chose this company. I read reviews from here and elsewhere and....yikes. I quickly realized I needed to expedite this process, so here is what I did: These reviews taught me one thing: the initial delivery date you schedule is not a date to expect your package. So the day before the delivery I called the local ceva office phone number listed in the email. Sure enough, they didn't even have my package yet. I'm glad I found out prior or I would have missed work. The next day the package showed up in Louisville, so I called to schedule a date. They scheduled it for the next say and the package arrived just outside of the time window. It was not damaged, and the driver was very polite. I'd give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that I had to call the local office and initiate the delivery date since the initial delivery date is not a real date. Ceva needs to reach out to people when the date changes. Thankfully the local office was responsive and I wasn't on hold a lot. They were all polite as well, so they still get 4 stars. read more

Husband and I purchased a large rug on Amazon. Paid the extra $$ to have it delivered to our door. Amazon used CEVA for their delivery company. It has been a month and we still have not received our rug. Like many others we had a delivery window which of course they never showed. We called the company and they blamed the delivery date on Amazon. Finally, today my husband called Amazon, Amazon called CEVA and CEVA said the rug is LOST!!! When were they going to tell us that?!? How are you a shipping company with no idea how to schedule your truck loads and not over commit what will fit in a actual truck? Surprise, surprise! Another negative review for this company. My delivery window was from 1-5, currently 5:23.. been on hold with them for 30 minutes and the music dropped out at the 22 minute mark. I'm curious if they closed for business and just shut off their phones??? Received a confirmation email and text message yesterday. Went online to check order status and it still hasn't changed from "in transit" to "out for delivery". Why would Costco continue to use such a terrible shipping company?? Ordered a TV from Costco in November, and had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with Ceva Logistics for the delivery. Delivery dates weren't available until the end of December. I had to check daily to see if I could reschedule. I was finally able to reschedule for an earlier date (12/11). The tracking system never indicated that the item was "Out for Delivery" on the scheduled delivery date, but the item did arrive 10 minutes before the 10 minute window was up. I did not receive a confirmation call/email nor did the driver notify me that he was arriving. But that's not what warrants zero stars. That part was fine. What wasn't fine was that the TV was CRACKED. The box was clearly dragged around and dropped. I took the day off to receive a damaged item. Now I have to return the item and purchase it again--in the Costco Warehouse this time. I urge you to please reconsider ordering your items if you have to deal with Ceva Logistics. read more

Really terrible experience. Damaged and cancelled delivery of the first item I ordered, then never returned it to Amazon and charged me $3k. After being told I'd be refunded days later, I ordered a second, which was rescheduled repeatedly by them because their drivers were probably hungover or god knows what. My large package has been 'out for delivery' for over 48 hours in a province I don't live in. I've tried calling all of their offices across Canada multiple times and cannot reach anyone. Poor communication from beginning to end. They Changed my delivery date, changed my delivery time, showed up early without calling ahead, refused to bring my package inside only putting it in my garage, didn't give a copy of receipt, and barely spoke English. Had an issue with two failed deliveries of the same item so i contacted the number they gave me. 20 minutes and NO answer. Emailed them on their website contact info, it took them 1 full week to reply. Horrible company! This was for a delivery from Amazon order: so i called Amazon also. My experience was the guys who drove the truck were nice and the firm itself and its utter lack of communication with the person receiving the shipment is completely lacking. Home Depot chose to work with this company for our delivery for our large Jacuzzi pool. We were charged a typical delivery fee. After hours of waiting on hold to schedule the appt for the delivery, we finally received a call back and scheduled our delivery. We were simply told an adult needed to be present to sign off on the delivery. We were waiting to never receive a knock or door bell ring. We then go outside and our large Jacuzzi is standing up on its side. No way called, rung door bell, didnt get to sign for item and they left. After calling back the unprofessional supervisor yelled that she can't send anyone back and then going up! If you see this company's name, run for another one! read more

I have had the worst experience with CEVA trying to schedule a return pickup through Costco. I have had 2 no shows, and the one time they showed up, there was only 1 person to pickup a furniture order and he left because he couldn't do it by themselves. It has been IMPOSSIBLE to get anyone on the phone to assist, the call ends up putting me on hold for about 15 minutes and then it always ends the call. This has been the most frustrating process I have ever experienced and will try to never have to deal with CEVA logistics again. This has been going on for close to a month. read more
