There was also no communication from the driver to keep me updated. I didn't hear anything until 1:37 PM, which left me concerned about whether my ride was actually coming. Since I couldn't risk being late to my destination, I had to arrange another transportation service instead. I understand that delays can happen, and I appreciate the work that goes into coordinating rides. However, timely communication is just as important as arriving on time. A quick text or update about a delay would have made a big difference and helped me plan accordingly. I hope South Bay Yellow Cab will look into its dispatch and notification system to help prevent this from happening to other customers. I would appreciate seeing improvements in both pickup reliability and communication. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback.

I found them years ago and relied on their service exclusively for the past five years, post COVID. They have NEVER missed a pickup either from my home or from the airport at any hour. The owner is particularly kind and thoughtful when he picks up my 88 year old parents which I genuinely appreciate. The cars are clean, new and always have bottled water. This is the best car service I have ever used.

do not use. yes they are cheaper than uber or lyft but service is awful…read more I used the RideYellow App. I got a trip code and got in a cab at that was in line at LAX. the driver was kinda rude but i thought maybe he did not understand me. i was confused about having to pay since the app asked for my credit card. the driver just kept saying no cash and i was like i put my card in the app. then he finally pointed to the card reader in the car. also seemed in a rush to get us out of the car. turns out my friend's earbud case fell out of her pocket in the cab. we traced the earbuds using the galaxy phone app. saw they were stationary at a house. figured it was the cab driver. we could not contact the driver. we could not find a number to call except the one for rides. we used the online form to report a lost and found. never received an automated email saying they got the report. so we waited hours and did it again. then changed to say it was a problem with the driver and changed the email address to send the reply to. still nothing. next day at the concert we found a native californian who gave us a different number than online to call. it was still the number to book a ride. telephone agent said she could not contact the driver. then she told us the office was only open regular bank hours. it was a holiday weekend and we were flying out before tuesday when they opened. also by sunday we saw on the app the driver still had one earbud in the car but another was on the street in front of his house. so my friend just gave up and bought new ones.

With driving in Hawthorne, in a fit of rage after merging into his lane abiding by all traffic laws, this guy snapped and went into a felonious temper tantrum honking, swerving his COMPANY vehicle at me my vehicle, break checking me, attempting to bully me out of lanes and yelling obscenities. When I told him I would rather wait because he was yelling at another cabbie, he told me I wasn't as good as the next people. While pointing his finger at me, he continued to say these other people were better than my wife and me. How does this make your company a service people want to use in a world of other choices. We have the rights to freedom of choice. 718 hurts your company and I would take note of his record. These type of drivers make Uber more desirable. My only regret is I didn't use my Uber app before walking to your cabs, because this hasn't been the only time I've had issues with United. I'll never use your service again.

So for convenience of not having to park and take a shuttle to lax from the parking lot didn't sound better than paying and getting a lift. I'm all honestly, I would use this service again. Email replied for the quote was quick (check your junk mail), I had to ask a question to confirm a car seat and received a reply the same day. Our driver Matt text message the night before which gave me piece of mind. He was very accommodating and nice. I even asked him if he was available to pick us up earlier (you know anxiety with traffics/ traveling with a toddler) and he replied right away. It was a smooth easy drive. We paid using Venmo since their credit card system was down. All in all Matt was professional, prompt, easy to work with. I would definitely request to have him drive us again if available. The van he drove was more than enough room and the car seat worked fine. So yes, even with the price, I give this five stars bc it eased my anxiety on traveling with a toddler and needing a car seat. Made the experience traveling for the first time with my kid a great one and made me feel like we could travel more now.

I wasn't able to get them to cancel the reservation that I had not made either by sending messages online or by leaving phone messages. It was only when I was contacted by the driver that I was able to get him to convey the message to dispatch.
