A more accurate name for this restaurant is "C'est Ok". "Bon" might be overselling it. We stopped by for a bite during a shopping trip, and so weren't expecting much beyond a quick lunch. However, I was pretty hopeful based on the reviews. It seemed to be popular with the younger Lululemon-wearing crowd which indicated it might be a good healthy option. My wife had the Venetian pannini -- a sandwich with Prosciutto di Parma, Sun Dried Tomatoes and Olives. I had a gyro. Now, I know the natural first reaction might be "you're reviewing a French-themed cafe and you ordered a gyro?" Yep I am. Because they had a variety of mediterranean items on offer on the menu, it is fair game to critique them on it. The Venetian was ok... the prosciutto was not repulsive or anything, but it was definitely generic supermarket deli-cabinet level. The gyro was also acceptable -- but was mall food-court quality. It wasn't a crisped, savory pita, and the meat had a boiled quality to it rather than grilled on the turntable spit that is typically the way to go. The thing is, the prices were not all that cheap. Given the food court quality of the food, it was overpriced. Otherwise I might have been easier on it and it would be a bit higher on the curve. read more

Craving a quick bite between your shopping? Head over here. It's located right next to nordtroms and has a great view of the surrounding area. You have the option to eat in our outside. Inside you will leave smelling like food so I suggest getting an outside table, besides it makes you feel like you're somewhere else. The pastries are good but a little overpriced for the flavor. The cookies are very good tho and so are the regular spinach enpanadas. Grab a small bite, sit outside and relax, regain strengths and keep enjoying your shopping in the best mall yet. read more

Love this lil shop! I work in the area and just call to pick up my food and its ready in 10 min. I usually get their panini's which are so yummy. They have a good selection of soups, salads, and crepes too! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Very small so can get packed at times. read more

This place is on the hidden corner of the 2nd floor of Merrick Park. Busy lunch crowd. Tons of options on the Panini's . Make sure you grab the items you like while passing them by. Example line is usually out the door , you'll pass by the cooler with drinks & then chips then order your food & then pay. Grab a seat where you like & they will bring your order out to you. What a letdown. Had to change my order twice. Wanted to order the "Casino" crepe but they didn't have béchamel sauce. No problem, I'll have the "Philly" crepe, they didn't have any meat... Being that most of the dishes share ingredients, sandwiches, crepes, wraps, etc... I would expect them not to run out of ingredients. This happened at 4pm on a Sunday. read more

We waited 30-45 minutes for a coffee, smoothie, and an empanada. This is not a difficult order. We noticed multiple people who had come in after us were getting their orders before us (and some of these orders were larger orders too). I went in to ask the waitress for an update and she said that she had MANY orders before us in a rude tone (she seemed really stressed, but you still shouldn't speak to a customer like that). I tried to give them a chance, but when I saw another lady come in and get her order only a few minutes after ordering, that was it for me. We went to the counter and asked for a refund. At that point the same waitress that had just told me there were MANY orders ahead, offered to make it immediately... but I shook my head and said I just wanted my refund at this point. Thankfully, the guy that had taken our order was kind when it came to refunding us and apologized for the situation (the star in this review is for you pal). Maybe my expectations were too high for lox bagel sandwich, which was not great. Pretty bland. Also I called in my order (which was nice) but the guy on the phone told me that they're on the first floor. They are NOT on the first floor there on the second floor you have to take escalator right next to Nordstrom's. read more

Great for a quick bite! My boyfriend and I LOVE juices and tend to be very picky with them. We are staying in coral gables for vacation and have come to c'est bon for breakfast everyday. We love their juices because they are fresh and cold. The smoothies are also delicious. Our favorite part of the cafe is that you can get something substantial with your drink as well. I love their premade food and their avocado toasts are amazing. The best part of the experience is that the service was quick and the food was quick to finish so we can get started on our day faster. We wish there was one closer to home!! 10/10 recommend for a quick bite. read more

Beautiful place all new and clean. Recently renovated. Full of options for breakfast, lunch and snacks. Staff is super friendly. If you don't have much time to order and sit you can just grab from a lot of salads, sandwiches and wraps that are ready! If you are around Merrick Park this place is a must. read more

C'est Bon? more like C'est Mal! I decided to order a greek salad and my boyfriend got an empanda and chicken panini. The empanda and the panini were both served cold, when we brought this up to one of the staff members her reply was yes, since when is a panini served cold!! I remember when the paninis at C'est Bon were absolutely amazing, so sad that it has changed for the worst. My salad was terrible, it was not fresh seemed like they just gave me one they put together the day before and topped it off with some chicken. I'm feeling very dissatisfied after spending $35 for terrible food. Will not be going back. read more

I was a little disappointed with the service and the food is nothing memorable. They didn't have many essential ingredients so a lot of their dishes weren't available. I've come to c'est bon twice after it's reopening and sadly, both times I've found myself a bit disappointed with the food. C'est bon's smoothies and pastries are top quality, delicious! As for their wraps and sandwiches, a bit overpriced compared to the quality and ingredients. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich for my daughter and a tuna salad wrap for myself, as well as two lime pastries. This, without getting any drinks, cost me $30. Now, I'd gladly give up $30 for a small meal if I genuinely enjoyed it but unfortunately this wasn't the case. Before, they used to serve a small amount of fries with your meal. This time I went- not even that. I think this used to be a great place to eat, but I think they've let their ego get to them and have stopped putting in the effort. This place does not belong in a sophisticated shopping center like Merrick Park. The quality of food is bad, the service is mediocre and the waiting time was painful. My family and I had creepes that took almost 30 minutes to be served, and when we finally got them they were room Temperature and tasted like raw pasta. So my family and I were shopping around, we decided to get a coffee and came to this place. The good part was that the coffee was good and I think it was a 8/10 mocha frappe. The bad was that there were 3 ladies working and it wasn't busy because it is a Wednesday. We ordered a Cappuccino, an Iced Latte, a Mocha Frappe and two pastries. We were told to wait outside and after a while we received the coffees and one of them made the mistake of making the cappuccino with almond milk. After a while I had to remind them about the pastries and after seeing the cashier joking and dancing around they figure it out that the pastries were missing. Guess what? The lady only out one of them!! So, after trying the lemon tart, I must say please do not order from them. Terrible service and is a little sad that we try to support local businesses and the people working there lack of professionalism and customer service skills. I ordered three sandwiches to go for my wife, mother and myself and all three were impossible to eat. The lettuce was older than I am, no pesto, no tomato and no guacamole on the sandwiches, although they were supposed to have this. The bread was old. I was to tired to return the sandwiches but this was unacceptable and that for the hefty price. So for me, never again. I did like their sandwiches before so this is a shame. read more
