We've been ordering Pizza from here for years and it's ok. Today got 2 chicken parmigiana sandwiches which were completely dried out and visibly burned (blackened) at edges. The mozzarella was gummy like glue. One went right into the garbage. I think the chicken may have been cooked over the weekend. This is not the first time we had complaints - previously had complained and was given credit for sandwiches and calamari. Why do they continue to send out food like this? Where is their quality control? I think they are taking advantage of the fact that they are one of the few restaurants that deliver in this rural area. Would they serve this to guests that were dining in? I don't think so. Please evaluate your food quality and customer service. read more

Cesco is exceptional Italian food on the middle of nowhere (aka Fredon, NJ). One of these rare road finds when you stumble upon an unsuspecting restaurant that overdelivers. Beware, dining area is small, but they serve a full menu at the bar. read more

Cesco's catered our event. Jimmy was super accessible, quick with responses, answers and suggestions. The food arrived at the promised time, the staff member set up quickly and neatly. Our party loved the food and they had vegetarian options. The stuffed mushrooms and potato croquettes were a hit! All of the food was great and I would highly recommend! read more

My father tried some pizza at a friends house from this place and we decided to take a trip and experience it ourselves. Obviously a local place it serves of great food in a warm atmosphere. We dined in the gazebo next to the main building and had a great experience. If you can look over the ceiling fan light the atmosphere is really pleasant. A paired down bar awaits you with a pos system in the corner and small pizza oven serving up delicious bread for a complimentary appetizer. The night I went the server was outstanding somehow able to make drinks at the bar, run food , bus tables and serve- all at the same time. We ordered a veggie pizza, calamari and a shrimp scampi- all dishes were excellent. The pizza was fresh with a perfect crust and fresh vegetables. The super friendly server and the great food make this place special. I would happily drive 30 min to get there anytime! read more

Boy do I miss eating in their gazebo, getting waited on by some of the most pleasant young women in the county. Good ole' days aside it is a go to spot for great take out. Try the Brooklyn Pizza if you like a spicy pie, reminiscent of the pizza I had as a kid down at the shore, Point Pleasant Boardwalk. Thin crust, spicy tomato sauce goodness under a mantle of toasted cheese....oh my word. so good. Regular pepperoni pie or sausage and onions is wonderful. The menu is expansive and entree items are all exceptional at the restaurant, Take out is less gentle on the delicate creations, but still excellent if eaten as soon as you get home. We moved up to Sussex county nearly ten years ago from Monmouth. At first the culture shock from living in a bustling semi-metropolis to country life was a tad hard but we got use to it, and places like Cesco's helped ease us into the community. The quality of their food was unmatched and best of all they delivered to our area! However things lately have taken a turn for the worse. Maybe they are under new management, who knows. They haven't had printed menus available in quite some time, and they don't update their website menu very often (the order taker always has to check). They often undershoot how long something will take to get to you, sometimes by a fair margin. The food often arrives luke warm at best, forget it if you ordered anything fried by the time it gets to you it will be soggy and steamed. Several times orders have been entered incorrectly, and when asked about it we usually get an attitude on the other end of the line. Yet the quality of the food has had us comming back to them time and time again, that is until they charged me money they said they wouldn't. I ordered a large pizza and a sausage calzone, plus the usual $5 tip for the driver. First I was quoted the normal 45min for delivery, well an hour and a half later he shows up with barely warm pizza, and a plain calzone, no sausage. Before he even showed up I called and asked for an ETA, they quoted me 5 min...he showed up 20min later, which lead me to call back and remove the $5 driver tip (which I felt was fair) and was told they would (they didn't). After finding that the calzone had no sausage we called back yet again, and was told they would take it off our bill (guess what..they didn't). To top it all off the card that they charged wasn't the card we requested. If you have credit cards on file with them I would suggest you request them to remove them (I'm not entierly sure that's legal by the way) since they seem to get them mixed up... Sorry Cesco's, you make great food...your service is horrid....we'll take the 15min drive down to Newton from now on. read more

Best pizza in the area. When my boyfriend and I are in the area on the weekends, we enjoy their pizza and garlic knots very much. Nice crisp crust, flavorful sauce, and high quality cheeses. It's more of a pizzeria than a restaurant considering the size, but they've done a lot with the space, and have a cute patio outside. Yum! read more

Cescos is my go to place for Sicilian pies! Staff is very nice and their food is amazing.

We used to love eating here but now we only go to them when we need delivery or semi decent pizza for the area. Some nights the pizza is better than others. the food is hit or miss, not very consistent. When ordering for delivery, you will 3 out 4 times get a messed up order. A major upset. read more

We lived near Cescos for years and recently moved.. to say we miss it would be an understatement.. the food and service is second to none.. we have catered parties there and were always satisfied. It's not very large so if you're not doing take out it's a good idea to call for a reservation so if you enjoy real Italian food from pizza to steak give it a try you won't be disappointed read more

We had such a wonderful dinner here. We were on the road and just happened to fall upon this jewel of a restaurant. My husband had the lasagna and I had Eggplant lasagna! We love, love, love the pizza here. Every once in awhile it's overcooked, but otherwise, perfect. It is our usual Friday night pick up a pie place. We have tried a couple of the sandwiches and the rice ball has been a nice choice. I know they have so many more options, but it's always the pizza for us. read more

For a small roadside pizzeria the food at Chesco's is Five star quality. The personalized service James provides is unbelievable. I highly recommend if you're driving past Cescos to stop in and have something off their menu you will be back for more guaranteed read more

Awesome pizza! We recently moved to green township. And can't find a delivery pizza place we like. They were able to deliver and we could't be happier. Just moved to the area and was a little worried of what options would be available for take-out after being used to having multiple options for every style food. Out here, the options are few and far between, but boy did we luck out with Cesco's. They are less than 10 mins away, delivery is fast and efficient (only $1), and you can ORDER ONLINE! They have a great online ordering system that is quick and easy to use. It is very intuitive and better than some chain restaurants have. We have yet to be disappointed with anything we've tried. Plain pie: Great crust, sauce was tasty, and you could tell the cheese was fresh Nonina pie (Grandma pie): DELICIOUS. It is made with marinara, fresh mozz, basil, and olive oil. Some of the best we've had (and we're Italian and came from areas big on their Italian food) Manicotti alla Vodka: Great again. Fresh pasta with a very tasty vodka sauce. I like to add some sweet sausage to it which makes it even better. Shrimp Scampi: The noodles are sauce are what you'd expect. The shrimp are fresh and cooked to perfection. Lasagna: Amazing. Nice and cheesy, the meatball was tender and flavorful, as was the sauce. They have so many more things to try, but it's hard to change when what we've gotten has been so good. Almost forgot, even the extras that come with every meal are amazing! The rolls are fresh and even have some olive oil on them I believe. In addition it comes with a couple pieces of thin garlic bread with some sauce which is to die for. Even the side salad is great because their Italian dressing just makes it. Its not too heavy and its nice and peppery. We are so lucky to have Cesco's so close and accessible that it's helped us through many meals during our moving process (mostly take-out) and now we have a great place to go to for many years to come. read more

The meals are pretty good however, the pizza barely has cheese on it. Quite boring actually. We have several times called for delivery and it takes 1-1/2 hours to arrive. Also it is ice cold. Very disappointing considering the cost. When the pizza place opened I thought it was fantastic, but no longer will I give another chance. read more

I used the online ordering for delivery. The website informed me that delivery would take 70-90 minutes - given that it was a Saturday night, this didn't throw me. However, when the food did arrive nearly two hours later, it was completely cold. The Stromboli I ordered was barely wrapped in a piece of tin foil, tossed on a soggy paper plate, and thrown into a paper bag - when I removed it from the scrap of tin-foil, grease had coated the entire bottom of the Stromboli and made it soggy, leaving a pool of grease on the paper plate. I also ordered cheese fries, which were cold and the cheese was congealed. I might be able to understand if the restaurant were a fair distance away, but I've driven past it before, and it is no more than 10 minutes from where I ordered delivery. It's ridiculous that the food would be stone cold upon arrival, and covered in grease/soggy to boot. I will not be ordering again. read more

Just discovered this place and it is wonderful. Was here last night and came back tonight. Inside a small pizzeria with a few table but attached all weather gazebo the is comfy. Start with a focaccia bread salad with meal and delicious rolls. Large portions. Tonight antipasto and pizza. Has bar so drinks available. read more
