There were 2 cars in front of me. I swear, I waited 10 minutes for the first car to get their food. The next car got her order quick and so did I. I got the torta de jamón and added avocado, the flauta plate and a large limonada. All was still warm and tasty, saran wrapped in the plate with all the fixings. I didn't try the flautas, but my bigger kids said they were quite good. The torta was ok, I wish it was a milanesa torta, but they didn't offer any other than jamón. One of the best quesadillas I've had in a very long time!!! My boyfriend wanted some second dinner and I was all about it. He ordered via uber eats and the order was done so fast! 6 tacos ranging from pork to lengua to steak. The tacos themselves come with double corn tortillas they were a perfect balance of soft and crisp. There's nothing like the smell of fresh corn tortillas on your hands yum! They came on a small styfroam tray with all the fixins; onion, cilantro lime and all the sauces. Let's get back to those steak quesadillas. They were gooey and had a delicious savory flavor oh my! The steak was cooked well, not over done or burnt. The quesadillas were accompanied by rice and refried beans with a small salad of pico, lettuce and avocado slices. I ordered food from GRUBHUB twice. First time the ground beef nachos were decent second time the tacos I didn't really like. They had ground beef was mixed with potatoe in the taco and pretty greasy. I'd recommend they consider better food packaging for delivery. They have Styrofoam plates covered with plastic wrap where liquids leak and drip. If the food could be consistently good I'd be happy to order from here often. But until that happens not sure I'll be order from here anytime soon. read more

Let me start off by saying that the meats they have here were great. 9/10 rating for sure. If you order a taco, a torta, or burrito alone you should be good. Those are great but do not, I repeat DO NOT order the plate meals. They all come with salad, beans and rice. You can't really mess up a salad but the beans and rice are always so bland and flavorless here. In my opinion at least. Been coming here for years and it seems they never improve on the rice and bean recipe. Don't get a plate trust me. The tacos alone and burritos make your visit worthwhile. Do check out their buñuelos too. They're best of the best authentic Mexican treats that they have here. If you dont know what that is do yourself a solid and come here for those alone. They're worth the trip. Also worth mentioning, not sure which day but I think it's friday nights, they have a pretty good drag queen show. Those nights it usually gets jam packed so arrive early for that. It's fun trust me. That have karaoke and a pretty entertaining drag show. Lots of fun and awesome atmosphere. Being brutally honest, the flavor just wasn't there as far as seasoning goes. The guac lacked citrus and at least three pinches of salt. The chicken seemed to be more on the canned side rather than farm to table and the salsa lacked complete texture - it was soup like. The habenaro sauce supplied really helped add flavor and carried the meal to finish. I would like to try this place on a Friday or Saturday when they offer karaoke and good beer specials. Nothing better than beers and tunes! I also like the affect of the atmosphere - this building makes you feel like you're back down south. All in all - I would say A-OK. We really wanted to like this place. When drove up it looked closed. There was only 1 table occupied and about 5-6 tables that had trash and had not been cleaned. It took forever for someone to wait on us, and when we got someone, she was nice, but never asked if we wanted something to drink. We ordered 2 taco plates, and enchiladas. The plates looked good, but the carnitas were crunchy and the tripas were REAL hard. The cheese enchiladas were cold, already melted cheese drenched in red sauce and hidden in queso fresco. Then, while we were eating one of the girls was on her cell phone obviously talking to her friend and referred to them as the "N" word and was very loud with her conversation. Very unprofessional to say the least. When we were done, we never got our ticket so we went up to the counter and the 2 young ladies behind the counter were too busy talking about how well they drive when they're drunk and how one said as she was ringing up my total, that,"She can't remember sh**!" when she's drunk. She never looked at me or gave me undivided attention, but continued laughing and talking to the girl behind her while running my card. You can see this place from the highway. One night, we decided to give it a go. We tried to use the drive thru. Epic fail. We didn't know the spanish word for 25, which is the shrimp ceviche tostada. So we just drove up to the window and after a bit, we got it! And it was AMAZING! The shrimp was so fresh and the pico de gallo packed some heat! So the next week, we decided to go again but this time, eat in. This place is the real deal. No frills. Just good cheap food. First -- the chips and salsa. This salsa was straight up freshly made -- do you know how I know? There were still charred bits in the salsa from when they grilled the peppers and tomatoes. The salsa was SPICY too! I ordered the shrimp tostada again and a small fish ceviche cocktail. The perfect light meal. My husband ordered their bistec torta and a shredded beef taco. Both were amazing. We got out of there spending less than $20 and that includes tip! I am a fan of spots like these, old and run down but the food makes up for it. The TV was blaring soccer in Spanish.
