I almost stuck with one place, but they tried to upsell me on things I didn't need, so I kept looking. I read a bunch of good reviews about Crawford's and decided to give them a try. Fast forward to now -- I've been using them for 4 years for various services. Sometimes it's just a simple oil change or routine maintenance; other times, it's more involved repairs. They haven't disappointed me once. Mac is always on point. He clearly explains what's going to be done and how much it will cost. He looks out for your best interest and suggests the most cost-efficient (not necessarily cheapest) repair option. He's also trustworthy -- if a repair part acts up, he won't back out. He honors his warranty. I take both my car and my wife's car here -- and only here.

Even the well known Auto Cool in Smyrna could not fix it, Mac at Crawford was able to. Auto Cool's repair lasted about a year and failed to work. We brought the car back, and this time it stopped working a week later. When we went back again we were told there is nothing they could do because of the age of the car. Well, Mac fixed it, and that was five years ago!!!

The employee assured me that the transmission warranty follows the vehicle; he even supplied receipts for the warranty to support it. Upon returning after the transmission started to fail, the manager, Brian, knew about the vehicle sale at the location, acknowledges they did the work and still refuses to honor the warranty but instead wants to charge $2500 to rebuild again. If I were to pay to have it rebuilt, it would absolutely be at a different location or company.

My oil change guy said I had a transmission leak. I took the car to a place on Buford Hwy who wanted me to leave it for 3 days and maybe he could give an estimate; I took it to the Lexus dealer and they wanted $190 to provide an estimate that was about twice the estimate of Mr. Transmission. Brian at Mr. Transmission told me the issue was the rear main seal but the transmission had to be removed to fix the seal. I asked him to replace the front seal on the transmission while he had it off, and to look for any other item that needed repair. He replaced both side axles for a small incremental price compared to doing it without having the transmission off. My SUV was ready when promised and Brian suggested a re-check in a couple of weeks to make sure nothing leaked; who else provides that type of customer service. I returned today and no drips, no runs, no errors; and a one year warranty for parts and labor. They even replaced all the fasteners on my engine covers. A quality job at a reasonable price. Thanks Brian and staff; you did a great job Blessings to you all. I will return for any transmission, axle, or drive shaft issues on any other car in the future.

They made me pay half before getting my car back (I was not made aware that this was their policy), which was fine, but I wasn't told about the 4% tax for paying with card (added $40 onto my deposit). Finally, got my car back after days of back and forth. A part of my car was damaged, and I was told they'd fix it for free, as well as have my car checked for leaks. I attempted to set an appointment twice and drove to them, just to not be serviced each time, despite waiting an hour (the owner told me i'd be serviced these days). The wait was because someone called out, and the next time he was in Duluth instead of Marietta. Two months later, I still cannot get in contact with anyone who works there and have still not had my damages fixed, nor had my car checked for leaks. They will not answer my phone calls and when they do, they don't help. 2/10 customer service, but my car is driveable... for now.

I read some reviews about Phillip and Professional Auto Repair and I took my car to him on Sunday after hours. Monday morning, he took a look at it, called me back a couple hours later and quoted a 1/10 of the price of Pep Boys. A couple of hours later, he had fixed the knocking sounds almost completely, but informed me of one other part that he believed would eliminate the joint problems and promptly gave me the new reasonable quote. The car was ready the same day, and I was out the door with a fraction of the cost of Pep boys, with considerate, speedy service and I am happy to say I know exactly where I'll be taking my Volvo with any additional problems in the future. The car runs and feels great and sounds better than it has sounded in years. Thanks Phillip and crew!
