This is a combined review for several services. Once or twice you may let something slip by,…read morebut.... 2 times now the radiologist compared my a new scan to the wrong previous scan so of course the comparative results came back inaccurate. Additionally, on a more recent visit for an MRI with and without contrast. The radiologist missed my port when injecting the contrast and it went under my skin instead of in my vein. Always have a nurse access your port. Doctors don't do it often enough. My saga doesn't end there. I had to get an additional, successful MRI at a different facility and pay them my copay. Advance shore had the nerve to bill me for the botched procedure. This is now 9 months they're pestering me with unpaid invoices. I am actively working with my insurance company to reverse their payment as well. When all is said and done, I will bring legal support in to fight paying this charge and let everyone I know in the process.

Although I had various checkups over the years and this was not identified as a concern. He biopsied it, and it is a rare sarcoma that has since been removed and thankfully caught before it spread. Which he called before the biopsy came in. This man is so smart he had never seen this type of tumor only saw it presented in conference. It is literally one in a million. He also identified a spot on my arm that I had not noticed but I know was not there very long. This was melanoma. Also caught early removed with clear margins. Dr. Kern's expertise, thoroughness and skill has essentially saved my life. He is kind, and a true patient advocate. He and Maryann supported and comforted me and my family during the stressful time of waiting for results. He referred me to a specialist to remove the sarcoma and has checked up on me several for a progress report. My husband indicates that he is a super hero. I cannot say enough about this doctor. Having been in healthcare for over 30 years I have crossed paths with many great physicians. A bonus is he has excellent surgical skill as my melanoma scar is barely noticeable. My parents were patients of Dr. Kasper's for 12 years. My mom and dad lived in Maryland then when…read moremy father retired from being a primary care physician, at the age of 81, they moved to Ventnor where my mom grew up. They had a summer home since 1974. My brother, sister and I loved spending time as a family at the shore. My father became ill last December and was in and out of the hospital with Covid and pneumonia and eventually came home with the care of hospice. I was concerned about recurring pneumonia and asked Dr. Kasper's staff to have him make a visit to my father at home. Dr. Kasper said he would try to get there in two weeks then when I called back he said he wasn't going to come at all. My parent's home is less than a mile from Dr. Kasper's office. My father passed away without a visit from his doctor of 12 years. My father was a loving husband, father and physician. Dr. Kasper is a disgrace to medicine, his patients and to my family. I know that if he was my father's patient my dad wouldn't have hesitated to go see him if his children asked. Not everyone is as they seem. It is in the time of need and help that a person's true nature comes out.

Then I was told I had to show up an hour and a half (90 mins) in advance for an x-ray -she said they don't do the actual x-rays on site so I would have to go through AMI imaging first-conveniently located in their parking lot, while I'm assuming it is also a separate charge. They want to be certain the x-ray is complete and so I have to sit and wait 90 minutes so I don't keep the doctor waiting - what?? What about keeping ME waiting? Or I could drive the 20 miles (one way) days before the appointment for the x-ray, then show up again the day of my actual appointment. Why is it that all of the other ortho offices I called told me they take x-rays on-site without waiting to see the doctor? Does Premier know there are other ortho offices and doctors you can see that won't make you wait on hold, jump through hoops, and be totally frustrated just making an appointment? So glad I found another ortho group with an appointment (sooner) with x-rays on the spot and no additional hours wasted of my life! My issue was already resolved by another ortho group (who was excellent), xrays on the spot, and my Premier appointment was still another week away!
