I am so glad I went, Jena discovered a spot on my skin that she biopsied and it came back positive for melanoma! I was given the information to make an appointment at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia where I went and had the problem taken care of. AP Jena probably saved me from a terrible problem, had she not biopsied the spot! I received the Best Care during my follow up visits and never have had a problem with making new appointments! All of the staff are pleasant and professional! I will continue to be a patient at this office, thank you !

I went to Dr. Kern for a routine dermatology exam. I had what I believed to be scar tissue on my…read moreabdomen. Dr. Kern felt this did not look routine to him. Although I had various checkups over the years and this was not identified as a concern. He biopsied it, and it is a rare sarcoma that has since been removed and thankfully caught before it spread. Which he called before the biopsy came in. This man is so smart he had never seen this type of tumor only saw it presented in conference. It is literally one in a million. He also identified a spot on my arm that I had not noticed but I know was not there very long. This was melanoma. Also caught early removed with clear margins. Dr. Kern's expertise, thoroughness and skill has essentially saved my life. He is kind, and a true patient advocate. He and Maryann supported and comforted me and my family during the stressful time of waiting for results. He referred me to a specialist to remove the sarcoma and has checked up on me several for a progress report. My husband indicates that he is a super hero. I cannot say enough about this doctor. Having been in healthcare for over 30 years I have crossed paths with many great physicians. A bonus is he has excellent surgical skill as my melanoma scar is barely noticeable. If you want a great dermatologist go see Dr. Frank Kern.

I've been to several dermatologists, ones who give me creams and/or oral antibiotics that don't do anything. I decided to make an appointment here. I saw the NP or PA and she advised me I'm struggling with hormonal acne and prescribed me a pill to help lower hormones as well as a gel. Well, it paid off because it been 1 & 1/2 months later and my skin is nearly clear. My skin hasn't looked this beautiful, radiant and soft since I started developing very mild acne as an early teenager. I could not be more thankful that I made an appointment here, and for the staff who actually had the time to sit down and LOOK at my skin. 1000000% recommend!!!

Additionally, on a more recent visit for an MRI with and without contrast. The radiologist missed my port when injecting the contrast and it went under my skin instead of in my vein. Always have a nurse access your port. Doctors don't do it often enough. My saga doesn't end there. I had to get an additional, successful MRI at a different facility and pay them my copay. Advance shore had the nerve to bill me for the botched procedure. This is now 9 months they're pestering me with unpaid invoices. I am actively working with my insurance company to reverse their payment as well. When all is said and done, I will bring legal support in to fight paying this charge and let everyone I know in the process.

Dr. Sood and Camille have been really awesome at helping me address my concerns and I have seen improvements the last few months that have made feel better and happier. Dr. Sood is very kind and informative when he deals with -you- as a patient. When you receive your laser hair removal treatments he makes sure to check in on how you're doing and feeling, about everything regarding your treatment. The same can be said for Camille, as well. Camille has been helpful with skincare and I've enjoyed my last two facials that I've had done with her. She has taught me a lot about products, and what I should and should not use. She overall has helped me simplify my skincare. (The microdermabrasion one I got today was really nice!) The office is clean, modern, and professional. You won't feel like a number at a Doctor's office like this because the staff is small, friendly, and personal. I can't recommend Dr. Sood and his team enough!

Then I was told I had to show up an hour and a half (90 mins) in advance for an x-ray -she said they don't do the actual x-rays on site so I would have to go through AMI imaging first-conveniently located in their parking lot, while I'm assuming it is also a separate charge. They want to be certain the x-ray is complete and so I have to sit and wait 90 minutes so I don't keep the doctor waiting - what?? What about keeping ME waiting? Or I could drive the 20 miles (one way) days before the appointment for the x-ray, then show up again the day of my actual appointment. Why is it that all of the other ortho offices I called told me they take x-rays on-site without waiting to see the doctor? Does Premier know there are other ortho offices and doctors you can see that won't make you wait on hold, jump through hoops, and be totally frustrated just making an appointment? So glad I found another ortho group with an appointment (sooner) with x-rays on the spot and no additional hours wasted of my life! My issue was already resolved by another ortho group (who was excellent), xrays on the spot, and my Premier appointment was still another week away!
