The PMP certification course from Certification Academy is phenomenal! The practice exams and checkpoint quizzes were essential study tools that made a huge difference. If you take the practice exams and reach the recommended passing scores, your confidence going into the actual PMP exam will be through the roof. The only constructive feedback I have is that some of the course material can feel very dry--but that might just be part of the exam study process. That said, the overall preparation, study resources, practice exams, and the team's timely responses to emails were invaluable in helping me pass my PMP exam with 'Above Target' in all three domains. Here is another update in the spirit of transparency. I was ontacted by an account named -Mark Ostrander, Operations Manager at Certifiction Academy. The, yet to be seen, refund amount was increased to $400. I was also assured that the CISSP course from 12 months ago would be happening now. Now that I've had roughly 6-8 months of self study time between their reported issues with Government shutdowns an such. My response is attached as well. PLEASE DO NOT further fund this deceptive practice. This company is a 100% scam! After paying $1,600 dollars for a weekend PMP bootcamp they canceled the first and rescheduled for anothe rweekend 6 weeks out. Then canceled that class. I asked for a refunded and they informed me over and over again that they have no cancellation policy after 24 hours. This is 2 classes they did not provide. They stated I was assigned to a weekday boot camp 6 weeks out to which I informed them I signed up for weekends because I work so the weekday bootcamp does not work. Please refund my money. I was informed again that they have a no refund policy even though they did not provide the agreed upon service. After 2 months of argument with them I finally contacted my bank for a dispute. Once learning of the dispute the company contacted me immediately and informed me that I need to cancel the dispute so they can issue a refund. My bank informed me that this was a false statement and they were trying to strong arm me to drop the dispute. Certification Academy sure were trying to strong arm me as they contacted me 3 days in a row threatening legal action and stating that they will fight the dispute AND WIN! They did not. This place is a total scam. Do not give them your money. They advertised a class, I signed up for it, then they un-enrolled me in error and canceled the class all together. They were not even able to offer me another in person option in my area. When I asked for a refund- they called me every month for 11 months to tell me they were working on it, only to just stop responding. Their phones are constantly busy or disconnected. This place is shady and non professional. I'm taking this up with the better business bureau, but wanted to warn everyone here. read more

Avoid. After paying $1,999 for a PMP Bootcamp, they canceled my first session, and then cancelled my second session the day before, after I had cleared my calendar. Since I had lost trust that they would deliver, and not willing to get burned a third time, I demanded a refund. They cited their no refund policy but suggested they'd escalate to management for approval. Two months later, no resolution, and since July 16th, they've stopped responding altogether. Warning !!!when you ask about all the bad reviews, they'll just say those are people that we resolved their issues and they haven't taken down their review. Complete lies and I have all the receipts to prove everything I say if you want to contact me. A supervisor there had the nerve to tell me if I was studying as hard as I was trying to get my money back from them. I would've actually passed my exam. STAY AWAY! THIS COMPANY STOLE MY MONEY! They have a 100% pass guarantee and I failed and at this point they said if I want to speak to them again, it needs to be through a lawyer because they promised me $1000 back and to help me pass my exam since that's our obligation And I kept calling because it's almost been a year of me calling almost weekly to get this done .I wish I saw these reviews before I signed up for the CISSP course. The exact thing happened to me as stated in most of these reviews multiple cancelled in person courses. So unprofessional from the beginning. At this point, they have stole my money already, and I can't do anything about it, but hopefully I can save someone else. Exceptionally, and in a certain light, hilariously untrustworthy, unreliable, and unhelpful. I wish I had done more research before working with Certification Academy because based on every word written about them online, I seem to be one of their more satisfied customers. I enrolled in a certification bootcamp and paid my fee. Then the week before the course was to run, they sent an email to the effect the course may not be able to run, but maybe it will, who knows, but please don't cancel because who among us can truly know the future? Naturally, the course was cancelled a few days later. They instead offered a course the following month which I reluctantly accepted due to the squirrely-ness of their communication. As the week of new course rolled around, they once again informed me, on shorter notice this time, that the course may not be able to run, but maybe it will, but please don't cancel, etc. It was during a work day when I was busy with meetings, so I informed them I was *unavailable* by phone and would need to transact via email. I told them I wished to cancel my enrollment and requested a refund. Let's pause here while you take one good guess how their reply arrived. Luckily, I was between meetings so I was able to answer the phone call which was pure runaround. It concluded with the promise of a follow-up, and my reminder that I had to work through this issue over email. The same person followed up by phone a few minutes later. You have to admire their tenacity in being unhelpful. I replied by email, and again they told me they needed me on the phone to process the refund. What an incredibly unfortunate coincidence that the refund would require me to be on the phone on a day when I was not available to do so. I put on my robe and wizard hat and emailed with the magic word: chargeback. A few minutes later the email hit my inbox notifying me the refund was underway. I asked how soon I should expect the funds to hit my account and they referred me to the contact information on the refund notification. Here Certification Academy could improve their game. It was a little bit predictable and obvious that there was no contact information on the refund notification. At the moment I have no way of knowing whether the refund or the notification are legit and I am likely going to go ahead with the chargeback as every word of information to date coming from Certification Academy has been entirely untrustworthy. As sleazy customer service performance artists, Certification Academy gets 10 stars -- on Yelp's 5 star scale. Chef's kiss; bravo. As a company that provides training services? Don't waste your time. Back in Nov 2022, I signed up and paid for in person project management prep course/boot camp in Los Angeles scheduled for Jan 2023. It was cancelled, don't recall reason but it was cool, no problem. Was given option to take online course and told if I wasn't satisfied, I can take the next in person one. I did online option which was EST- a 6 AM start time in CA. I purposely signed up for in person because I learn better that way. Well, I wasn't satisfied with online option so asked to be scheduled for next in person LA class. They scheduled me for one in 3 months later in Apr. Guess what, that got cancelled too. This cycle repeated itself 3 more times. 3 more times. In between I tried to get into a San Diego course, which is a long but doable 2 hour drive; nope, couldn't. They offered me option to take in person course in Phoenix but what they offered to reimburse for my trip wouldn't have covered all the expenses. Not to mention it was a major inconvenience to travel to another state. So this latest cancellation for Jul course, (next in person one in Aug) I said no, I want a full refund. As a reminder, my original class was scheduled in Jan and they've cancelled 4 times. Mofos said no because I did virtual and requested to take in person so a refund is not possible. How the f**k am I supposed to take an in person class if Certification Academy keeps cancelling them!? This is LA FFS! It can't be due to lack of students. And with their track record, they can't even guarantee the in person class will take place. Spread the word- DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANYTHING FROM CERTIFICATION ACADEMY. I signed up for an IN PERSON course in Seattle WA. 1 week before the course was scheduled to begin I received an email requesting I select an alternate option of attending a course online or in person in Phoenix AZ. I signed up for an in person course because that is how I learn most successfully. Regardless if they would compensate for travel to AZ, that is not an option for me whatsoever. I called to get a refund since they were the ones that canceled the course and was told this was outside of their policy. Their site clearly states: "Firm Course Dates When you register for one of our classes, you are guaranteed it will run as scheduled. You can focus on your training and certification and not worry about cancellations or delays." They have not help up their end of the above statement. The class WAS canceled and now I cannot focus on my training as I'm worried about getting my money back. I am a full time practicing project manager looking to advance my career to the next level with a PMP certification. It is extremely difficult for me to clear 4 days from my schedule to take this course, and I'm getting busier every week. Waiting for the next in person course (which I doubt would even take place) is not an option as I have active installation taking place over the next few months I need to be onsite for. I need to get my PMP now, not later or next year. I'm extremely disappointed in the Certification Academy and their professionalism and how this is being handled. I wish I had read the reviews on BBB before paying for the course, they have done this to so many people! How are they able to continue practicing business this way? It feels criminal and we (the consumer) are left to pay the price and deal with the fallout. read more

They scheduled a training for one of our employees, rescheduled it 4 times and we complained that if it was rescheduled again, we wanted a refund. The agreed and said they would send us a check.
