The first two days of class, we had a bucket of juices offered in the back of the class room. I wondered why there was no water included and why the bucket disappeared after day two. There were always bagels and fruit offered in reception but I was never offered any and didn't know if they were available to us. The receptionist brought in cookies, every day at 2pm. The instructor eventually told us that we could get water and soda out of the cooler in the hallway. That was a saving grace since we were stuck in this dark room for intense training all day long. Location is good and they have plenty of parking. I attended in the peak of summer heat in Arizona and was cool and comfy all day.

Extraordinary & Profoundly Talented Music Teacher!…read more Tammie is able to transmit the essence of music in every lesson. She customizes lessons to meet the needs of each student. She is a pro at so many genres, and is are able to provide professional guidance in classical music, jazz, rock, and just about anything else you'd wish to learn. Tammie is a person on my musical journey who possesses some of the most profound skills to teach piano to all ages. She is a revelation to me - this is the first time that I see someone for whom music theory is not some abstraction but rather the structure guiding every note she plays, who asks not how a music text is constructed but why, and I listen in total awe to her explanations of what goes on under the fingers. And, of course, I continue to be greatly impressed with her energy and her enthusiasm. I learned a lot from her in the past year, and I am hoping this is just a beginning of a long road. Affordable - I've taken lessons from other piano teachers in the past and they were ok. Then, I took from Tammie's Music Studio and learned from a seasoned professional. TODAY - I am contacted with an explanation that "I honestly thought you were probably a good person but I felt a dislike towards me right away. That energy was truly difficult for me to deal with." His "concerned" response concluded with this: "PS. I once had a doctor do surgery on my knee. I really disliked him (really this guy was a jerk) but I knew he was an expert..... My knee works great again. :)" Since 12/23/2014 (again five months after my initial review) - the Owner has contacted me several times via personal email 3-4 and 1x telephone (actually left a message) - surreptitiously attempting to convince me to edit/delete or otherwise alter my review. I find the Owner's contact inappropriate and borderline harassing. I rejected his offers of a refund as that is not the intent of my review - rather to advise others of my experience. The Owner provided a service- and was compensated for his service. My opinion is this Owner does not take kindly to those with opposing/differing views. Unprofessional and inappropriate boundaries.
