My kid went here last year and everyday I would have to call the office and the principal just to get the teachers to login. When grades came out they didn't give him grades and I am still trying to get the grades 6 months later. 4 out of 5 of his teachers left the school, the principal is gone too, and they can't find any record of his grades. They put him in the wrong grade but won't give him the grades for the courses he took. Now because it's all new people again we can't get his grades because employees can't access grades from before they worked there which includes the registrar. I wouldn't recommend this school to my worst enemy. We are still trying to find his grades and because it's a private school the board of education can't help.

A little background for those interested in this school: Our son has been a student at the Tempe location for AZ Aspire for the past three years. He has gone from being in really misunderstood, tough, and defiant place when arriving to flourishing both mentally and academically. I'm not saying it was easy on our family or the AZ Aspire staff, as we know it was NOT! I'm absolutely impressed with the teachers understanding and perseverance while caring for our son. The principal and the office staff have a major disconnect. Last year my 4th grader had 5 different homeroom teachers throughout the year. FIVE! Bullying is an issue and the way they handle it is ridiculous. The same kids bullied my daughter multiple times and all that the school did was place them on a different classroom for 1 day.

School supplies and items for teachers are common as I'm always working on some projects with my own kids and others. From Science experiment stuff to school supplies and more, I always tend to pick up more than I need. Especially notebooks. This is a great place to bring those items and make them available to teachers who can bring that same vibe to there students. I drop off 3-4 times a year and not to long along I was helping a friend clear out a garage and yes, they had a ton of stuff that was perfect for teachers to add to there classroom. This summer they have absolutely loved their time at Montessori Peace Academy. Ms. Lauren and her staff are amazing and the individual needs of each child are such a priority. The space is big and the ratios are low. I've been so impressed by the efforts to make sure the kids are socially distanced and are following the proper protocols to keep everyone safe. Most importantly, my kids are thriving and they come home each day so excited to talk about their day and what they've learned and created. My girls will outgrow the program in the fall and we will miss this school so much. If you have a preschooler and are looking for a comfortable learning environment where the individual needs of your child are a top priority, I cannot recommend this enough.
