I recently purchase a used but in great condition Honda 2001 S2000. Its been garaged its entire life and only had minor imperfections. Having brought 4 previous cars to 5 Point Auto Spa to get window tinting and Ceramic Pro coating, I wanted to get some extra protection for this vehicle. In talking with Jessica the Sales Manager, some things were pointed out very quickly. There were some orange peeling and swirling in parts of the car and wasn't a simple clean and apply Ceramic Pro coating. I've never had a bad experience with this company other then scheduling within their busy schedule. What Jessica suggested was a wet sand and apply the their new combo protection on most of the car of vinyl film and Ceramic Pro on top of it. Although this was more expensive, I felt it was worth the investment. When I picked up the car, it was truly amazing. I included the during and after pictures in this review. Like my other cars, I use a power washer with no soap and then dry. The car looks like it has a wax and detail finish every time. There were some small bubble spots here and there but I its very difficult to notice. I also got IR tinting on the windows and nothing but quality install. I had doubts about the IR tinting previously but after researching youtube and having it now, for me it makes a major difference in decreasing heat and UV in the car. I'm very impressed and happy with the results. 5 Point Spa continues to earn my trust and my business. No installer is perfect but for me, 5 Point Spa comes as close to perfect based on my personal experience. Hope this helps with your decision. P.S. I noticed in some of the reviews of other customers describing challenges with warranty, washing their car, and yearly inspection. I don't know what kind of sales experience they went through but 5 Point Spa staff have always been up front and transparent about the need for the yearly inspection, what the costs for those inspections, and after care by the customer after getting the Ceramic Pro coating. It's always been clear to me not to use soap, don't go through car washes, and cost and reasons for the yearly inspection related to the lifetime warranty. read more

I own a black Tesla Model 3 and I was skeptical about the ceramic coating but I'm even more skeptical that I'll be able to keep my sanity maintaining a black car so I went for it. Once the car was done I noticed it looked "blacker" but I didn't have much to compare it to. Since that time I've seen other black Teslas full of swirl marks, dull looking paint, or both. In fact, I've seen several non-black new cars that don't look as good as mine. The final test was washing my car which I waited a bit to do per their instructions. It took about 15 minutes to spray, delay, and wipe away. It was extremely easy and the car looks as good as when I had it coated which is better than when I bought it. I plan to keep the coating for the 5 year warranty and have 5 point wrap it after that. read more

I brought in my civics for some great detailing. The EK9 (about 19 years old) was a bit dull and showed the wash lines and scratches. The work they did brought out and rejuvenated the paint as best they could after years of neglect (I just washed it with no wax/polish for the past 3 years). I was very happy with the quality of the installation of the PPF and ceramic coating. Great Job! Jessica was also amazing and seemed to care a lot about her customers. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with the manager over a trivial request. I had asked if they could install a small decal on my car while they are installing everything else. They said yes but when I got the car back it was not installed. I asked the manager about it and he said they would install it for me but I need to bring it back. Then he proceeded to yell in the waiting room, "We don't install F**** decals", which left me confused. He just said he would install it and why is he yelling? He could have told me that there had been a mistake and they don't do decals and I would have gone on my way. Instead, I made an appointment and waited two weeks and the morning of the appointment I got a call saying that he is not going to install it, which is fine but why did he say he was and why did they make me wait two weeks? I feel that you need to trust the word of your installers and if they don't stand by what they say for little things, how can I trust they are going to take care of you when you have a real problem? I just leased a new 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe sport ultimate, it's black and it needs to be maintained frequently. I usually wash and care for my own cars. However, whenever I get lazy and/or just don't have the time, then I bring my car(s) over to Adam to take care of. Just last week Adam installed the new Ceramic Pro 9H coating onto my RS5's paint and clear bra. It was a one and a half day process, but definitely well worth the wait. Adam's impeccable attention to detail put me put me at ease especially considering that CP9H is a permanent and very hard coating; any errors would take a considerable amount of time to correct. Multiple times he went over the install and ensured that it was done correctly and there were no high spots. I was even offered a free wash and an application double check one week afterwards; upon which he found more unevenness and corrected it. I really appreciate Adam and his crew's work. However I wanted to give Adam and his team another chance and I knew with the refund I would likely never come back. we agreed that he would detail my wife's car a 2009 VW Jetta wagon at no cost. I got a coating with a "lifetime warranty" only to find out less than a year later that it doesn't cover damage from regular washing, and it's only meant to protect against sun damage. Sun takes more than a decade to damage car paint. People don't usually keep their cars for 10-20 years. The whole reason I got the coating was that they told me I would never have to wax my car again. Also, you are required to come in every year and pay them $200 for upkeep, which I only found out today. This whole thing was a scam. read more

Took my brand new Fiat 500e here. I told myself I would never own another black car, but I did. To alleviate my anxiety, I talked to Adam. I've heard nothing but good things about 5 point, so I decided to give him a try. He recommended Ceramic Pro, so I went for it. After a couple days of constant updates and teasing pictures, I picked my car. I'm in shock. It is incredible. The black paint is so deep and wet looking. I'm in love with the Ceramic Pro. Being that it's a black car, I will probably wash it twice as much as I do with my white one, so I'm glad that it's a lot more protective than an ordinary wax. Street parked my vehicle in West Hollywood, woke up the next day to a hard water spots in my car everywhere. I was livid. I drove back to San Diego Sunday night for Monday work, dropped the car at 5 point auto spa Monday afternoon, and got my car exactly 7 days later. Prior to all this, I have spoken to Jessica and discussed the options and ways to remove the spots and subsequently, protect the paint. I went with what they told me was recommended without a blink of an eye, because it sucks to see the vehicle in the state it was. As far as protecting the paint goes, I originally approved the clearbra/PPF to be applied to the whole vehicle. Due to the change in my circumstances, such as selling my vehicle ASAP to get into my dream car, I opted instead to go for ceramic coat. From the initial inspection prior to picking up the car, it just looked amazing. I was shown an area in the trunk with one of those low powered pen-like flashlight and it looked amazing and clean of spots, or so I thought. I later found out that the trunk was one of the area that was heavily worked on, hence the almost perfect trunk. I left with the car and felt great knowing that I am not driving a car that was covered with spots. As I parked my car for the night, in a fully lit garage, it looked like some of the the spots were still there, but not as visible as before. I can't justify sitting around and doing nothing when I paid thousands for it. I called up the shop the next day, and explained what I saw. Jessica told me to bring my car back to the shop and Steve will take a look at it. Brought back my car, and the car was looked at by Steve. He felt like they could have done more, and explained to me that the ceramic coat might be the culprit, as it brings out the gloss, makes the color stand out and rich, which in turn made the spots visible. They advised me to give it 7 days, andcome back next Monday to determine the scope of the spots. Overall, had a fantastic experience from a great team, ESPECIALLY Jessica and Steve. They are the two individuals I worked with throughout the process, and they were nothing short of amazing, very caring and understandable. Credit where credit is due. Thank you Jessica and Steve. Despite the shortfalls, I am confident with 5/5 star because without them, my car wouldn't be worked on diligently, and I believe they will resolve my concerns without breaking sweat. read more

Window Tinting Review: My family is prone to skin cancer, so protection from the sun on my 85 mile commute home in the afternoon is important to me. I've known about Ceramic Pro for a long time and there's a reason they're a 5 star shop. Just the same, I did my due diligence and called around for the best deal. Falling right in the middle of value for your dollar among other local shops, what stood out to me was the follow up from from their senior sales manager, Jessica. This lady is on top of it. Timely call backs/texts? Absolutely, even when it's missed call with no v/m! Clear estimates by email? You bet! Friendly customer service with a smile? 100%. When I came to the shop, it was neat and clean, which I appreciate and their products are displayed digitally in their lobby since they do other stuff besides window tinting; ceramic coating is their bread and butter, I think, hence the name. At first I had some reservations about their proprietary Kavaca IR film they developed in house; I'm familiar with all the popular brands like 3M etc. However, after my first commute from Riverside on a hot day, I immediately noticed a difference...Not only in how hot (noticeably less) my car was inside when I left work, but how quickly my AC was able to cool it down and keep it cool, and how much better my seat ventilators work in the upper 90s on my way home from work. I suspect summer drives will be more of the same. The heat rejection on their top film is fantastic, clearly noticeable, and I don't feel like I'm cooking in my car anymore on the way home. Dave delivered my vehicle to me in a very professional manner, walking me to my vehicle, and doing a final once over on the film before I drove away. He answered all my questions and discussed future services prior to me leaving. If you're still reading this, thank you, and if I have one critique, I had an appointment at 9 and my car wasn't done until 5.5 hours later just to tint 2 windows. Certainly not a deal breaker or anything that would make me seek another vender or rate them less.
