Ordered ceramic tint and when I asked why the tint they were putting on was not ceramic, they tried to insure me it was....it wasn't!! The garbage tint they were using had "ceramic" written on the box, when I googled it, their cheap Marathon tint doesn't even come in a ceramic version. They tried to convince me it was still ceramic, even after their own helper kept saying it wasn't ceramic tint. After arguing, and after confronting her with the website of the company proving it wasn't ceramic, Maria admitted it wasn't ceramic tint and said that she hadn't planned on charging me for ceramic anyway.....LIES AGAIN. My emails from Peter came from both sales[at]mobile-tinting and sdcalitint [at] gmail. Looking at the webites- Cali Tint and Mobile Window Tinting share the same address. Peter stole $650 from me. We hired this company to install privacy window film at my office. Peter left immediately and the workers he left had no idea what they were doing. They did terrible work (see pictures). Peter said he needed an additional $450 to come and fix the job today. He no-showed for the appointment. After several calls texts and emails, he finally wrote back and said he was not coming and that he was keeping the money. He then lied and said it was because we were "racist". He is an absolute con artist- huge red flag that he wanted Zelle payment for "materials". Do not hire this company. read more

We used him twice, and even referred our friends to him, in the last four and five years. We have BMWs. He always charged between $200/250. This time when I purchased a new car and actually told him that, he immediately said $360. I have gotten several other professional quotes for less money, but he wouldn't budge. Called to set up an appointment and confirmed a day and time. Sent my address and what shade of tint I would like on the car. Confirmed the day before appointment. Appointment was for 9 a.m. Received a text message at 8:40 the day of the appointment saying they had to cancel because I was too far. Why wasn't the address checked when I set up the appointment 2 days prior? Why was the appointment confirmed the day before to be canceled 20 minutes before. I planned my work schedule around this appointment just to be canceled last minute. Also wasted time in finding a company that would tint the windows. read more

First, they tried to charge more than the original quote when we got to our appointment. Then, this guy charged us twice and then refused to refund the overcharge. (He ran the card through two different machines and then told us that the first charge didn't go through.) The original tinting job had to be re-done because it had bubbles and just looked like crap. The second time was okay. When we went down to see him about the overcharge and showed him that we were charged twice on our statement, he told us to dispute the charge through the credit card company. Then, when we did, he turned down the dispute when the credit card company emailed him to check the status. Check your statement if you do business with this guy. read more

I used Mobile Tinting today and had a great experience. I needed the tint removed from my front windows due to a ticket for them being too dark. I made a reservation online and paid the $79 deposit. Juvenal contacted me the night before and told me he needed to move the appointment from 9 am to 10 am due to the location of the job before mine, and I was thankful that he gave me a heads up on this so that I could plan accordingly. Juvenal arrived 5 min early, and was very polite. He removed my front window tint and put a lighter, legal tint shade on.
