CenturyLink is the worst internet service provider you could EVER choose. First of all I walked in and asked the guy if the service was in my area and he checked it for me and said yes. So I signed a contract to have Internet, Home Phone, and Dish Network. Well the services were installed and at first the services wasn't that bad but after about 2 weeks I noticed that my internet would randomly stop working and it was very slow. I called tech support and they had me reset my modem and make sure all my information for getting connected was right. So after troubleshooting we got the internet back on....then about a week later the same thing, it would constantly go out. I was getting very frustrated with this so I went back to the store and I told them that I no longer wanted their services...they asked me why and I stated that its b/c the internet doesn't work at my home and that I have called tech support several times and that I need my internet for video streaming so that I could work online. So then he looked up my address and said "your area looks fine you should be getting great speeds". Then he called customer services himself and they told me I was too far away from the original source of the internet connected and that I had signed up for too high of a speed and that it was dropping the connected before reaching me, so I said well I want to cancel b/c Im not getting the services I paid for. Well of course to my luck it was past the Buyers Remorse Period but it took at lease 3 to 4 weeks for me to notice this problem. However there was nothing they could do to help me so I paid the Early Termination Fee and had the services unbundled..and I still had Dish Network as a seperate services....lets not even go into the Dish Network story...thats my next review here in a few moments...lol they are worse. read more

This is in regards to Century Link services.HORRIBLE! Customer Service is horrible, almost impossible to cancel. It took me 3 days and numerous times being hung up on.. do not recommend read more

The worst service I have EVER had anywhere! I moved to Hudson and for 2 years have been a CenturyLink customer because they were the only provider available, at the time, for Home Internet at my address. Their customer service has been atrocious every step of the way and they have billed me, repeatedly, for services I don't have! Also, if you are in my area, the network connection speed is about as fast as dial-up used to be. I am happy to say I was able to finally have Spectrum installed and LOVE it!!!! I have not even been able to get CenturyLink to acknowledge that I want to cancel my service. I've called and texted for 3 days and keep getting the run-around. read more

I wouldn't give a single star to this company if I had the option. I have had nothing but issues with these people since day one. They've monopolized my entire area to charge ridiculous prices to customers while giving absolutely horrible internet speeds. Not only that, but their customer service is repulsive. Every time I've been on the phone trying to get help from them, all I've ever dealt with are bad attitudes and apathetic zombies wanting nothing more than to get off the phone with me. If ANYONE out there is considering going with CenturyLink, please do yourself a favor and stay away from this poor excuse for an ISP. You'll be more than happy that you did. read more

Constant interruption in internet service. Can usually go 20 mins without service going out & having to troubleshoot connection. Overall, i would recommend using a baked potato rather than centurylink read more

Very disappointed in this company's internet quality. This is by far the worst internet you can possible get and is way overpriced. I am telling you now do not waste your time and money on this horrendous internet service provider. read more

Worst internet service EVER!!!! Our internet is out at least twice a week...not for just a few hours, but for the entire day. We were once out for 5 days and they had absolutely no reason why. Calling the customer service department is laughable. I called all day, on one occasion, and their phone would not ring...just dead silence. After finally getting through and being re-routed to the "correct" person, I sat on hold then got a fast busy signal and had to start all over again. But even when you get to speak to a person...they have no answer for the problem. I told the customer service agent that this was, by far, the worst internet service I had ever had...she replied..."yeah...I hear that all the time". Nuff said!!! read more

Very Bad Internet service and even worse customer service. If you have issues after 7pm or before 8am, you are out of luck as there 800# hangs up on you! Go with Charter! read more

Just awful, paying for 10 mbps. Only getting 3 mbps on a good day but its usually 0.7 mbps or lower everyday now. First year was decent, got 8 mbps on good day but every year the speed drops by about 1 or 2 mbps. Would not recommend, you would be better off just using your phone data for internet access or some other internet services like Charter. read more
