Generally it is a pretty useful lrt station if you want to access the mall or bus station or any of the surrounding neighborhoods. It is clean and well-maintained.

They do a great job of keeping it clean and I like that they have one of those little convenience stores in a good location so it doesn't interfere with the flow of foot traffic like the one at Century Park where the line often cuts you off from the bus schedules. I also like that because it's so close to the mall it's easy to just use the washroom in Southgate before walking over and catching the train which saves me a trip into the sometimes dirty ETS washroom. There isn't as much room as I would like indoors to hide from the elements during winter time but people who come through this station are generally pretty respectful so I don't worry too much about being bothered or having my personal space encroached upon. I wish all of the stations were as good as the one at Southgate.

That will change over time as the South Campus of the University of Alberta starts to expand into this area. I really look forward to that time when this area is hustling and bustling with University Students and Staff. As far as the station goes it is a pretty bare bones outdoor platform. It gets the job done. There is an enclosure to stand-in if the weather is too chilly for you.

I also find it easy to make most of my bus transfers as the buses are quite close to the train compared to some of the other stations. There are some great routes available once you get off the train if your looking to get to the Leger transit center as well as WEM. I find the transit peace officers tend to ignore it in favor of the downtown stations which some may like and others may not. I can honestly say though in three years of using our public transit I have only been stopped for a proof of payment check here once. There are washrooms available over by the buses as well as vending machines. My one and only gripe with this place is the fact the glass shelters to hide from the elements in are not fully enclosed which seems really silly in a city with Winters like ours.

There are no public washrooms at the station and the hospital which I believe is the closest easily accessible washroom is still a bit of a hike up the street. There is a stop in front of the station for the routes 106,4,and 313. The 4 is often a very packed bus but it is worth noting that it as well as the 313 will take you almost to the front door of the cross cancer institute which is nice if you or a relative are receiving treatment there it cuts down on your walking and time spent outside in the elements which can be important if you're unwell. Being a surface station with no fully enclosed shelters can make it a misery in the winter. ETS likes to boast about the heaters they installed there but they installed them so high up to prevent things like vandalism that some days you don't even notice that they are on. Honestly if you can find other connections to get where you're going that don't involve this station I highly recommend it. It is just a minimal surface station that gives off the impression that city council had some extra money laying around the year they built it and decided to use it on an LRT stop.

Finding the airport kiosk to check in upon arrival was not hard. Maybe the signs could have been a little bigger and more prominent? The van was comfortable and the driver drove safely. We called to confirm our ride back to the airport, and that worked easily and quickly. Our hotel pickup was right on time and our ride back to the airport was fine. Nice job, SkyShuttle.

It's not shocking to see reviews reflecting this. The best shuttle service can't make up for someone's poor planning or sincere misadventure; the laws of temporal physics still apply. I've regularly used the Edmonton SkyShuttle over the last six or seven years without incident. Sometimes I'm purchasing a ride at the last moment at the in-terminal location. They've got rides from the airport into the city late at night, when my budget fares deposit me at YEG. They have crazy-early pick-up times (with advanced reservation) of which I've made use too many times to count, my eyes barely open as we crunch over new snowfall back to YEG. The drivers have dealt gracefully with rude, angry, self-entitled passengers many times in my presence. No, they can't go faster. No, they can't drop you off at your special place, not even just this once. Yes, it costs money. I can recommend Edmonton SkyShuttle unreservedly. They're not too hard to reach, helpful with my questions and scheduling needs, and always deserving of a tip. Thank you all, drivers and office staff. See you in not too many weeks, again :-)

Left my bed not put back together . Took them 9 hours to move my one bedroom apt. Took them an hour to get to my new apt which was only a 15-20 min drive. At the end I was moving things in my new place.....the stuff I could lift. Started at 1pm and left at 10:30pm. Tried to charge me $1200 and change ... I certainly did NOT pay that and flat out refused. The most horrible and stressful moving experience in my life. If I could give -5 stars I would.

I've been using them since they began local operation decades ago and took a ride with driver Ben this morning. Even though I had not given their dispatch the amount of notice I normally would, Ben was at the pick-up location before me, he was courteous and polite, and I'd gladly request him by name in the future. Prestige might not be the least expensive option but they have large, clean SUVs (Ben drives a shiny new, black Escalade) , sedans and limos, all operated by dedicated, professional drivers.
