Once again yesterday I went to get an oil change, tire rotation, and a replaced tire valve that was leaking. Instead of doing it all, Ainsworth was honest and told me there was no need for the tire rotation as my best tires are already in front. This is not the first time he explained why we don't need expensive work done. He always chooses to be honest instead. This type of service is hard to come by these days. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Picked up my car with the check engine light on (was not previously on) and the tech unable to figure out why/fix it. He advised me he lost a wrench in my engine compartment, which I thought was a joke until it flew out from my car on the highway almost hitting the person behind me. I was told they would do some 'research' on how to fix the check engine light that wouldn't go away. Upon out running errands, my car wouldn't start and I had it towed elsewhere because Monro wouldn't take accountability for their careless work and they were downright rude. A new auto shop found there were 12 trouble codes, all due to the failed work done at Monro. They cleared and fixed 11 of 12, with the last one needing to be done by the dealer. I didn't have my car for weeks due to all the remedial work needed. I spent the last TWO YEARS fighting with Monro's insurance to get reimbursed for the thousands of dollars I had to spend elsewhere for remedial repairs. Customer service has offered nothing to make things right for my inexcusable experience - they refuse to refund me for initial costs after a hellish and utterly unacceptable experience. Also, they have staff leaving good reviews on Google, don't be fooled!!!

While you wait they have a wonderful selection of drinks and goodies you can help yourself too. They look over your whole car and let you know what needs to addressed with issues arising. OK, let's start this for you by saying that I've been going there for years and I've never had a…read moreproblem and that's why I continue to go there However I haven't been there in a while So I went there the other day and let's just say it's not as efficient as it used to be. Every time I've been there, I've been in and out under a half hour and it almost didn't matter how busy it was I went there Friday, July 10 just after work around 4:30 when I pulled up there was two cars ahead of me. You can't really call yourself in economy oil change place when it takes almost 40 minutes before you call me up to the counter to collect the bill and you're not even done with the oil change yet. But that's not my biggest complaint My biggest complaint is, I could hear them talking about how they're having trouble with my car hood from the lobby and full disclosure. I've never had any trouble with my car ever in my life. This is not a situation where I knew that thing was messed up and blah blah blah. Negative Never had a problem with my car hood So then one of the workers there calls me up and charges me for the oil change and then immediately casually mentions that they're having a little trouble closing my hood, but should just be a couple minutes. As soon as I sit down, he calls me back up like immediately And says hey, come here let me show you. I'm not sure why he had me go sit down or tell me that something should only take a minute when he didn't have an idea of how long something would possibly take but that's another story I guess So I go back to where they're doing the work on the and I stand next to the at what they're talking about and they say they can't get the hood closed, but they're willing to take apart the to rectify the problem, but it's gonna take a couple hours Well, I didn't have a couple hours to wait so I told them that I'm all just gonna have to drive off and then they said well you can't drive like this due to the fact that the hood will pop open. I was a little discussing that they didn't tell me any of this until immediately after they charged me. I was super annoyed full disclosure. I'm not the best at controlling my anger so I just called my brother who and if this a big fix and if I can just drive it away. He told me not to worry about it and that there's a secondary catch and that the hood won't pop over and I can drive it away and he'll take care of it. Funny these guys didn't even know that Whatever I guess I'm just pissed that after they immediately charged me they brought up the issue. I felt like I shouldn't have been charged for the oil change considering my hood was completely fine driving in there.
